I think this place is the best I've stayed in so far in SL in terms of value for money! It's absolutely beautiful, big, clean, peaceful, AC, free toiletries and tea/coffee. It has a lovely nature around where you can eat your breakfast whilst a turtle or a peacock may walk past. It also has a patio area where you can chill in comfy chairs. The location is perfect, very close to the rocks. The family is so lovely, the children are adorable. They can cook some amazing food for you. The owner has his own jeep and can take you to safari and also to many other tours in the area. If you want a cheap and gorgeous place to unwind, this is it. Highly recommend!!

Very peaceful location, perfect to relax. Rooms are spacious and clean. Wifi is working properly and the quiet AC ensures a good night sleep. Host and his family are very hospitable, he’s ready to answer all your questions and help with every needs. Also he provides transfers and jeep safari in good prices. We highly recommend him for the safari experience, he explains and tells a lot about the animals and has an amazing eye for them. About the food, his wife must be the greatest cook of Sri Lanka because the breakfast and dinners are amazingly tasty!

The place is 2 min from Sigiriya main attraction, there are only 2 rooms each of them separate from eachother in a beautiful land. The place is ran by a lovely local family. The breakfast was amazing, they also offers lunch or dinner in case you don't want to leave your room. The rooms have a beautiful decor, are also very clean. Nice towels and bed sheets. Outdoor seating and dinning area. They have everything you need for your stay in Sigiriya and help you out with all the tours and attractions including a visit to Mineria National Park. Very good a/c.

It’s a very quiet and relaxed place with only two rooms but you’re completely for yourself if you like. The room ist brand-new, well equipped and provides harmonious and high quality furniture. Especially worth mentioning is the cleanliness. We enjoyed every morning a varied breakfast and we’ve got many tips and help for daily planning from our owner.

It’s a bit offside, for flexibility you better rent a scooter but the owner managed that for us within minutes

What an amazing stay! I highly recommend to anyone. If like us, you’re looking for a cheap yet nice and comfortable place to stay, you’ve got it. Room is exceptionally clean! comfy bed, modern decor, gd Wi-Fi, kettle, fridge, spacious and great clean bathroom! not to mention the wonderful outside space! But more than the accommodation… the hospitality, the food, the going above and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect, Amila and his family were incredible! We usually like to take control making daily plans of our trip, but Amila made it so easy for us to completely relax! From picking us up at the station, to taking us to atm’s, lunch, all the local amazing sights (obviously including lions rock and pidurangala) and even taking us on the best Safari we have ever taken! (in his amazing jeep) seeing more elephants than we could count and waiting as long as we wanted to stay for some spots. The breakfast and dinners provided here will make you want to take their Sri Lankan food class. the food Amila and his wife cooks are amazing, the best free breakfast we have had in our 4months of travel so far! I usually avoid writing long reviews… but I really felt Victory Villa deserves it. I’m sure we will be coming back!

Beautiful and spacious cabin, nicely decorated and clean. Quiet surroundings, with only the sound of nature around. There are only two cabins, so no risk of big groups or noise environment. It is perfect to relax and get away. Breakfast was a very good portion and of lovely taste. Owned by a sweet family that go over and beyond to make sure you are confortable! They were also extremely flexible and adjusted to several last minute changes from our side. Many services and tours available.

Nothing bad, but something important to have into account, it is better to have your own transportation, as there are no restaurants really nearby (at least 20min walk).

Clean, modern, room - set in a lovely garden. This place is about 2kms from the entrance to the Lion Rock. Good communication from the owner. Dinner is also available at this property.

Everything was really good here. There were some small issues with the shower and water supply, which were resolved quickly by the owner.

Amilla is a perfect host. Helped us despite fact that I have booked wrong dates. Arranged for us the transfer despite fact that bus drop us in the middle of nowhere. Moreover, he provided for us a spectacular safari, we saw a lot of elephants in a wildlife, water rat, eagle, varan and a lot of beautiful birds!)

Thank you very much for such a pleasurable experience! The host was very attentive and caring, he helped us with every little detail, including transportation, touring, currency exchange, lunch and dinners. Great family of the host made us feel here comfortable and happy. His wife cooks exquisite food in both western and sri-lankan style, and his daughters were a nice company! The room was big and clean, containing all the necessities, such as soaps, face towels (and main towels of course), blow dryer etc. It's located in jungle area with safe exposure to wildlife, also there were no mosquitoes. Close to Lion's Rock, calm and nice neighborhood. The only issue we noticed was a bit unstable WiFi, but it was temporal and didn't ruin our experience. Also, the host supports Ukraine, so it's our sincere recommendation to fellow Ukrainians to stay here. Best wishes to the family and your business!

the host is an amazing guy, he is fun to talk to and super nice. He brought us to Pidurangala at 5 AM the morning! The accommodation is great with the rooms being in the super room, just amazing. The surroundings are beautiful and they have their vegetable and fruit garden for delicious food!

We loved our stay here! You're right in the middle of nature - very romantic. It was so nice falling asleep to the sounds of the animals. Our view from our balcony was breathtaking!. The location was very quiet but still within walking distance of the town center or if you're feeling lazy a short tuk tuk ride away. We loved breakfast and we loved chatting to our host. He also organized a wonderful elephant safari for us - great guide, very ethical.

A great place to stay. Ideal if there are a few of you as there are several rooms and balconies in a great room with food and refreshments in the dining area downstairs, the owner was very helpful and went helped with my visit to Sigiriya. He was happy to give advice and arrange transport for trips such as an early morning lift to Pidarangala rock as well as letting me use a bike. The food was great too, and it was all well priced. The surrounding countryside and hospitality are top rate

The best breakfast in all the places, where we have been in Sri Lanka, they even was more delicious and good than in big hotels. The family is supper nice and helpful. Houses are really beautiful and nice, everything was very, very clean. In the house there is hot water and air conditioning. Houses has a great lobby, where to sit and relax. They are in a beautiful place on the nature. In night you can hear animals and see bugs with lightning backside - the tree looks as it was full of little lights. Place was awesome and suggest it 10000%. Very good value.
