Easy to access, super clean

L'arrivée peut se faire en utilisant une boîte à clés. Le lit est grand et confortable. La possibilité de garer sa voiture.

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de patère pour accrocher une serviette ou du linge dans la salle de bains. La porte pour fermer la salle de bains n'est pas très fonctionnelle...

The view was excellent. Very beautiful side of Madeira. A few minutes to the supermarket and restaurants. The room is good equipted, there were all needed tools in the kitchen for cooking. At night the sleep is very good because of the wind. Parking right in front the apartment, there are 4 places and we always managed to find a place. Also the cleaning of the room are included. We definitely recommend this place, but only when the construction work will be done and when there will be no noises, smoking workers and clean pool.

At the time there were construction work, the things that we were mad of are that workers were smoking right under the windows of the apartments, also the pool became a place to wash their hands and buckets after building materials. So the best option was to close renting for a time of the construction work or warn in advance about the noise and possible inconveniences and of course decrease a price for that period of time. The pool was advertised well in the pictures, but was impossible to use. We discussed these things with the hosts and they offered a dinner at the local restaurant as a compensation, which was very nice, but overall the price for that time should be half smaller for the time of construction work. But when the work will be done, the place will be definitely awesome, because there will also be the balcony.

Here we had accommodation without food and there was a fridge and all the equipment for cooking. Beautiful view of the ocean. There are beautiful sandy beaches for swimming, protected from the waves, so they are also ideal for swimming for children.

We were satisfied and so we liked it. There are paid parking lots at the beaches, as there is also a free parking lot but it is not cheap, so it fills up quickly.

We had many issues with the property and left after 1 night (having booked for 4 nights originally. The pool was too dirty to swim in. There were a lot of leaves/debris and dead insects floating in it. The bathroom smelled horribly of sewage, we had to keep the door closed and window open or else the room would stink. There were no towels in the room when we arrived at 3.30pm, we contacted the host about this and they were very responsive, we’re away from the property all day. We didn’t get towels until after 9pm. The host also had to leave the towels outside the room for us as we were at dinner and they have no spare key to enter the property. The room is generally is in a state of poor repair, the front door didn’t close properly, the toilet roll holder was broken, the flush on the toilet didn’t work properly. As the room has no a/c or fan we had to leave the window open at all times. The insect screen on the window has a very large mesh so flying insects and moths can easily enter the room. There were also a large number of millipede type insects and ants crawling around the room. The property is near a busy road, so the traffic noise is quite loud, especially given that we had to keep the windows open. It’s important to note that the entrance to the home is on a very busy road, with a blind corner which is dangerous when driving out. Of course, the owners can’t help this but it would be good for other travellers with cars to be aware of. On leaving the property we told the host of the issues but were completely ignored.
