Amazing location - couldn't beat the proximity to the private beach. The house is a great layout if you have multiple families. You cannot beat the wrap around porch!

Our family has been traveling to this part of the cape for many years. We were looking for more space for a larger group this year and this fit for us ! We had two couples and 5 other adults and had sleeping space for everyone. There are also two large living rooms, a big kitchen and tons of space on the wrap around porch - many coffees enjoyed. The walk to the private beach is wonderful to have. Obviously as an 1888 property the house has that type of charm and vibe but still had modern amenities to make it comfortable

We had our family's bi-annual reunion in this house - 8 adults, 6 children. It was great for that... lots of room, spacious rooms, responsive manager. Only caution was that the beach access required a 45 steep staircase down to the beach... a problem for some elder members.

This house was a return to childhood for Lin as she had grown up in Dennis in the 40's and 50's and enjoyed church activities at this property often.
Everything we could have needed or wanted was available and everything worked. Plenty of hot water for showers and dishes and the wrap-around porch...just delightful for dining or just watching the world go by.
Thank you, Bryan!

Our family of 13 had the most wonderful week in this spacious home, a one block walk from a private beach. We spent almost every afternoon at the beach and would walk down after dinner every night to catch the sunset before the little ones bedtime. The kitchen had everything we needed, the yard was amazing, we loved making s’mores at the fire pit, the wrap around porch was a dream, and there was so much space for our family we sometimes were searching for people.
Any question we had was quickly answered by the wonderful host.
The house is historic, beautiful, and old so while not as sparkling as a new build we much preferred the character, unique qualities, and spaciousness this gorgeous home provided. We truly had the best family vacation ever and hope to return to this house again someday!

We had a large group of 8 adults and 7 kids between 6 months and 4. The location of this house is perfect when doing a beach trip with kids as mayflower beach is amazing for kids to explore and it’s easy to walk back to the house for nap time. Overall the property was beautiful and we had a great time.

Terrific stay in Dennis could not ask for a better location! Perfect for our family and small kids. Very well equipped kitchen. Air conditioning was a plus but there was great ventilation and most nights windows sufficed at night even at the end of August. Great communication from host. Hope to go back!

This home perfectly accommodates our large extended family. The location is close to a wonderful beach and has wonderful outdoor spaces for hanging out. The house is quirky but has everything you need. This was our 2nd stay in this house and we look forward to returning again.

We loved the home and the proximity to the beach. Bryan was very helpful and the check-in process went smoothly. The house has plenty of room for everyone and the front porch was our favorite gathering spot! The kitchen is well-stocked and we loved the coffee bar in the morning. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Knew we’d picked the right place when my niece and nephew had started building a train set from the toy closet before we’d even unloaded the cars. Bryan has thought of everything and has a quick and thoughtful answer to any question or request. Great to have the private beach gate/stairs but a needed bonus that just a 5min walk away was a more accessible ramp, made for easier kayak launching. Enjoyed the whole week and will be looking for an excuse to gather the family again soon to enjoy the property!

This house is great in so many ways. It has many bedrooms that are large and airy. It has wonderful living space both inside and out. We loved the full wrap around deck. There are fun games to play on the lawn. The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics that you need. And not having to deal with your own linens as a big plus. The host is very responsive and we communicated several times during our stay. One person in our party left something and it was quickly mailed out and returned to us. Fantastic experience. Thank you!

Our family of 10 cousins enjoyed a wonderful week at the house. The reservation process was great and Bryan responded to our messages/questions very quickly. The house was spotless and had plenty of room for everyone. The yard was large enough to play catch and other outdoor games. One of our favorite spots at the house was the front porch. We sat outside to read and visit and we also ate several meals out there at the picnic tables. The fire pit area was a great place to make s'mores. The bedding was very comfortable. The walk to the beach was short and the private beach flat with gentle making it nice for children. The double outdoor showers were a big favorite of everyone. Without a doubt I would rent this property again.

This home was beautiful, from the sweeping veranda to the massive kitchen and beautiful personal touches throughout. Bryan was an awesome host who made sure we felt right at home and had everything we needed for our special weekend. Thanx to Bryan and his kindnesses, our family will forever treasure this Thanksgiving. Thank-you!

Four households from my extended family met on the Cape for a memorial service. The house was perfect for us! Private beach access was still available in early October, and the walk around to the public access is very easy too. The house has a very large grassy yard which means even more space for a large group to spread out. The neighborhood is picturesque and quiet. (Lots of dog walkers on the street that wraps around the property, and you know dog walkers know the best streets for walking.) It was a wonderful weekend.

This historic home is located in a quiet neighborhood close to a wonderful beach (5-minute walk) and Dennis town center (15-minute walk). The home is spacious and well-equipped. Bryan is an attentive and helpful host.

Pluses: We loved this spot with proximity to playgrounds, town and the beaches.
The kitchen is very nicely stocked and big enough for everyone to gather round when cooking & eating.
Brian was a great host and very responsive.
Minuses: The main house has no A/C, so keep that in mind for the hot summer weeks.
The gas grill didn’t work while we were there….charcoal was available though.
The house (especially bathrooms) aren’t fancy. But, that didn’t bother us any. The history of the house is a beautiful thing.
We would love to return to this spot for vacation, especially shoulder weeks when the weather isn’t too warm.

We’ve rented numerous times on the Cape and this was absolutely the best experience. Bryan was great to communicate with, the house had everything we needed, plenty of space and comfortable beds! Loved the convenience of 2 grills & 2 outdoor showers to make after beach clean up & meal prep a breeze! The house is absolutely beautiful, great layout with an amazing front porch and fire pit. Easy walk to beautiful private beach where there were frequently only 5 or fewer other groups at a time. Couldn’t have asked for a better week, hope to rent here again some day!

This house was even better than the pictures! A true historic gem. It was more than enough room for our party of 8 to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, and a fantastic coffee maker and was large enough for all of us to hang out together. We also appreciated the cornhole, beach chairs, and beautiful fire pit. We came off-season so the closest entrance to the beach was closed, but the public access was a short 5 min walk away. The beach itself was gorgeous and quiet.
Bryan was a fantastic host and communicated all we needed to know in a timely manner. Would stay here again and again!

All six of us were very impressed with this beautiful farmhouse with its gorgeous gardens and landscaped yard including a handy fire pit. We loved the huge kitchen island where we could all sit drinking our coffee. The kitchen is very stocked, including spices, oils, etc in the cabinet. The beds were comfy and we all slept well in this quiet neighborhood. We want to come back next year!

House was a wonderful gathering space for our family that needed to get together for a funeral. Owner made it so easy for us to get in - had every amenity you could need, and the house is awesome. Built in 1888 as a coach house for a long-gone hotel, it's wrap around porch was awesome to site out and chill.

Everyone loved the home! Enough space for all; kids enjoyed their own 3rd floor area with their own bath Great outside gathering spot on huge porch; overall a beautiful place.....and close to beach wouldn’t hesitate to book this again!

Checking in and out of this spacious home was easy, and communication with Bryan was excellent. Our guests had a great time in the house, and all of the bathrooms allowed them to distance well given the times we are in. Lunch on the front porch and the quick walk to the beach made the stay very special.

Special place. Can’t say enough about the beach and the access. The beach is private and easy to get to from the house. Love the outside showers. Bryan is a kind, attentive and respectable person. Lots of room, beautiful Kitchen and Deck space. Easy to say we will be back.

Can't wait to go back. We all loved the spacious wrap around porch and "lived" on it all day into the night. Few bugs because of the sea breezes. Also the walk to the beach was minimal, even for me. I had knee surgery 2 months ago and was worried but it proved easily doable. Even the stairs going down to the beach were built to accommodate those of us who needed a rest. There were 2 sets of platforms with benches to rest on. Late in the day I often sat on them and read. All the atmosphere with less effort!
Lovely quiet neighborhood, coffee shop and grocery within a short walk, as well as the Cape Cod Playhouse and an ice cream shop! Dennis is a busy town with much to offer and in the center of the Cape. Owners have obviously worked to update but kept the "old house" feel and look inside. And the floors don't squeak like most older homes. 15 of us fit well. Great week.

Gathering families from around the country together each year is often a recipe for chaos. This gorgeous house was the first place where every single one of the 14 of us were happy, relaxed, exhausted from days on the private beach, and already counting the days until we can return to vacation again! The owners were so friendly and helpful, the House was spotless with great updates and layout for so many guest. Looking forward to next time!

This house was perfect for our large, spread out family to gather for a long weekend getaway
/ birthday celebration. Plenty of space (inside, on porch and in the yard) and great location near the beach in a quiet neighborhood.

The property is spacious, well equipped kitchen and has a nice big lawn for the children to play. It needed a few minor repairs but overall we had plenty of room and had a wonderful time.

This home was amazing. The rooms are big and comfortable and breezy. The floors don't creak. The bathrooms are updated and clean. The outdoor showerS (yes, 2 outdoor showers) are new and hot and awesome. The porch went around 3 sides so you could be where the action was, or go to another side and read a book....We came here for my family's 9th annual reunion, arriving from NY, CT, MA, and MO: my senior parents celebrating their 53rd anniversary, my 3 sisters and myself and our families. We had 9 adults and 4 kids (and 2 birthdays!) There was more than enough room for all of us to eat together at the long beautiful farm table in the dining room. The home is very old (1888 I think) but you would not know it by the solid construction and updates throughout. The wrap around porch was a great place to be especially after a day at the beach...which by the way takes about 90 seconds to walk to. We would walk down there several times a day just to see if the view got any prettier, which I swear it did every time.
The area is great. Ice cream at the end of the street at Smugglers, markets, playground, shops, antiques all along rt 6A... something for everyone. We met lots of neighbors and they were all super friendly and welcoming.
Bryan, the owner was great to deal with. His responses were quick and helpful and he even checked in after the first couple days (via text) to see if all was well. Nice touch. I've been tasked with arranging my family reunions for 9 years now and he is bar none the best owner I've dealt with ever. He even provided us with a full week of spectacular weather at no additional charge 😎
I rate it 5 stars because I literally can't find anything wrong with it. My family is already talking about next year's trip and it looks like we all want to return to the beach house! Great vacation spot. Enjoy!

Truly a great experience! The house was clean, big and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the beach was a very short walk. My family loved being here and we intend to do this again. Bryan was a great host and helped direct us to restaurants, stores and the beaches. I highly recommend this home!

We loved our stay in Dennis. The house is very large and spacious. Our group consisted of 8 adults and 8 kids and there was enough space for everyone. The walk to the beach was 1 min and teenagers in our group were even able to walk to town by themselves. Wrap around deck with comfy sitting was definitely a big bonus. The house has such a positive vibe that everybody said it was the best house we've rented!
Finally, communication with Bryan was great. He was always ready to answer any questions and provided a lot of useful information.
We would love to be back!
