Beautiful property with amazing views and sunsets. Bedrooms are huge with lots of storage which was great. House does need a little TLC in places but that would not stop up from returning to this property. Great location, very quiet, close to Holetown and glorious beaches and restaurants. A couple of minor issues during our stay which were dealt with very promptly by property manager Michael. Wildlife was amazing too with visits from local monkeys. All in all a wonderful 3 weeks at Harpers.

This villa is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here over Christmas and New Year. The property is spacious with massive bedrooms, all en-suite and air-conditioned, as well as a number of indoor and outdoor seating areas/verandahs to suit your mood. There is a wonderful view west towards the sea and we were greeted by a full rainbow on our first morning. The master bedroom balcony is the best for a beer and watching the sun set. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the pool was cleaned twice when we were there. The gardens are beautiful and we saw and heard so much wildlife, including a family of monkeys. The villa was cleaned twice while we were there - thanks to Deborah for looking after us. Minor point to note - hot water can take a few minutes to come through for showers - give it time! Very many thanks to Simon the villa manager who was always contactable. He met us at check-in, recommended places to eat, organised some groceries for when we arrived and allowed us to stay a bit later on check-out day as we had an evening flight. Our first visit to Barbados was truly memorable, and I am sure we will be back.

We found the home provided great space together and equal space to spread out. The bedrooms are the only air conditioned areas of the house but could provide pretty good ventilation with a lot of windows and doors opened. The pool was fantastic as well as the many outdoor sitting areas. Great privacy with the house not directly facing any other homes. The monkeys visited often which was always fun to see. The area of Holetown is fairly upscale area with great beaches not too far away. Showering at alternate times was required to ensure we each got hot water. With temperatures in the 30’s for us walking to Holetown was not an option therefore a car was helpful. Overall wonderful stay and should we return to Barbados we would definitely want to stay at Harper’s

We had stayed at the property 8 years prior so knew what to expect and overall we had another great experience. The view from the master bedroom is hard to replicate. My only feedback would be the property it starting to feel a little tired in places but we would highly recommend it to friends

We had an amazing stay, the villa was absolutely perfect and had everything we wanted. Every room has their own bathroom and the Villa is very spacious, with several relaxation areas. Simon the Villa manager is lovely and gave us a thorough tour of the house and told us everything we needed to know. We will definitely be returning! Thanks again for a perfect stay.

The visit was simply wonderful. Check in process was a breeze. The owner and the property manager were responsive, accommodating and a delight to work with. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and reflective of the pics shown on the listing. Several large sitting areas inside and out to suite the needs of couples or a family. Mornings were glorious with the sounds of nature while the view absolutely stunning. Will definitely be returning as soon as possible. Thanks Lee and Simon!!

The property was clean and spacious, with beautiful sea views. Large, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. House manager Simon did a very comprehensive shop for us prior to our arrival. We did manage to walk to the beach, though you definitely need a car to get around. Lovely quiet neighbourhood, with the occasional cow waking us in the mornings! All in all a wonderful stay in a great value for money villa.

This was a beautiful property, views from the pool were amazing. would have liked to have been closer to bars and restaurants. You can walk into Holetown but a good 30 minutes via the road, Walked back but not recommend as no street lighting and up hill. Would have liked air con in the living area rather than ceiling fans. Saw lots of animals while sitting outside, monkeys, kittens, sheep, huge toads, firefly’s amazing. Had such a fab time but be aware of supermarket prices, very expensive.

We had a brilliant holiday. Simon was very helpful and communicative throughout our stay. The villa is lovely and in a great location to explore the beaches up and down the west coast, and indeed the whole island. There was some building work going on next to the villa during our stay, so it was a bit noisy at times (as well as a keen gardener out strimming before 8am!), but it didn't detract at all from our holiday experience. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great week at Harpers. It is very spacious and airy and the view to the sea was lovely. We enjoyed sitting out on the patios, using different ones at different times to catch the breeze. The private pool was great and well kept. The house was well stocked with equipment and was cleaned mid week. There were plenty of towels for the pool and beach and the air con in the bedrooms was very effective. Simon was very flexible on checkout time as nobody was arriving that day and we appreciated not having to rush in the morning.We loved our time here and would definitely recommend it.

Excellent stay at Harper's Villa
We have just enjoyed a wonderful 2 week stay at Harper's Villa with our family. The villa has a great location and is extremely spacious, clean and well maintained. The bedrooms are all large doubles and the kitchen is well equipped with plenty of stuff. The pool and gardens are superb and we enjoyed many evenings at the two outdoor dining areas. Simon (the villa manager) was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us. The communication from both him and the owners has been great. Deborah and the cleaning team were also really friendly and helpful. Overall we have had a wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend for families.

Excellent property , communication & service
We stayed mid January with friends & family. The property is spacious, well kept & has everything you need from a holiday let. Simon the property manager arranged shopping & taxi from the airport, he also arrange our transfers to the port where we picked our cruise up. There are bars & restaurants quite near if you use the shortcut but you can’t do that in heels. Taxi’s are quite reasonable. We had visits from the monkeys in the day which was a joy! Would definitely stay at Harpers again!

Just spent a week at the villa the house is in a good location to some stunning beaches and great restaurants. The villa is a little tired but the pool is stunning as are the sunsets . Simon the manager was helpful and would recommend the villa .

Spacious, light and airy very comfortable house
The house is really spacious with several balconies and terraces and a choice of 3 dining areas. The 3 main bedrooms are large with large beds and nice bathrooms. You can be all together or separate out as desired! The view to the sea is lovely, the pool is good (we did our lengths most days) and there are sun loungers and chairs to suit all plus a garden with lime tree and coconut palms and a bbq. We would definitely recommend this villa. The agent Simon was amazingly helpful, very responsive and got us huge family shops as we were not allowed out pre second test results - luckily we were in this place so felt on holiday anyway!

Covid Perfection
We booked this villa back in 2019 in readiness for a special family holiday for a 50th Birthday celebration and we 100% cannot fault the villa - its everything you would wish for - spotlessly clean, well equipped, good Wifi, in a quiet loctaion, with beautiful views and the beds were amazingly comfortable. But what really made the holiday for us given the global situation with Covid and quarantine requirements from Barbados was the planning, reassurance and communication from Simon the property manager - not to mention the huge family sized grocery shop he voluntarily did for us prior to our arrival to see us through our first few days. He managed to turn a stressful situation into an idyllic break away for us and we truly thank him for all his help.

A hideaway haven with amazing views
We had a fabulous two weeks at Harpers. There was plenty of space (though there were only three of us!) and having the kitchen open out onto the patio and pool was lovely. A great view to the sea all day long with fire flies and giant frogs appearing at night which were fab to see whilst the moon and lone star shone above. We also relished opening the bedroom doors each morning to the veranda looking out to sea too - the nesting birds and the egg thieving monkeys added to the experience one morning! Simon our villa manager was a star - sorting out air con issues in a flash and not to mention working out a plan for the forgotten key fiasco. He was also a great source of mangoes for our morning breakfasts - delicious. Everything was clean and tidy - though the nesting birds meant the patio could have done with an extra sweep! The kitchen tiles were a bit tired but everything was spotless and in working order so no complaints.

Perfect for larger groups
Enjoyed our stay a Harpers Villa this July. It is a great location with the beach a 15 minute walk and town with essentials like grocery shopping(Massy Supermarket) and the few excursions we took, a 20-30 minute drive. The villa itself was perfect for our group of 7 adults. Three ensuite large bedrooms upstairs with air conditioning and one ensuite downstairs. There is no air downstairs, but it's very open and when the sun goes down you have a great breeze. The only downfall is no screens on large french doors throughout the villa so we did have mosquitos in the evening. We had to spray every night as we sat inside or outside the villa. Simon was accommodating, Anne came once during the week to clean and our pool was kept up as well. Absolutely need a car if staying at Harpers. Our only negative was the mosquitos, which you can't control and the dishwasher does not clean very well. We cooked a lot during our stay. I would consider returning should we visit Barbados again.

The Villa is nice but, can be much better with a few renovations ( dated) Pictures are a little deceiving. We did not have hot water the entire stay. You need a car or the Taxi fees will kill you. The locals showed us a short cut to the buses but you must be in good shape to tackle the trail. Anne the house keeper was very nice.

Fabulous Villa
We stayed at Harpers villa for 11 nights and loved it, we were a group of 3 couples out to celebrate a birthday. We visit Barbados every year and love staying close to Holetown. The 3 boys all play golf and Royal Westmoreland is a stones throw away from the villa. The rooms are all huge with ensuites and it is so quiet and peaceful at night . Love the lower floor set up which is open plan and just flows really well, my husband loves cooking so we had a couple of nights in and enjoyed using the BBQ which was lovely and clean, the kitchen was well equipped and a lovely bajan curry was lovingly prepared and lovingly enjoyed by the pool watching the sun set over the Caribbean ocean, a stunning view every evening . The pool area was lovely and the pool man kept it leaf free and clean. Maybe could have done with a couple more sunbeds as there were only 4 and all 6 of us are sun worshippers so had to rotate. Looking forward to a return visit.

Great location. Relaxing.
Simon met us at the house and gave us a tour upon our arrival. (As a side note, Simon is a wealth of information if you need anything while on the island). The house was perfect for our family. We opened all the doors of the house each day to allow the breeze to blow through, and then we would enjoy sitting outside or inside and watch the boats go by. The bedrooms were kept a perfect temp with individual air conditioners. The kitchen was well stocked with proper equipment to cook whatever you wanted. My only complaint there was they need a new can opener, we had a bit of a time getting a couple of cans open. And the non stick pans have seen better days, but everything else was great! The location is quiet, and the view was beautiful. Also, the house is just a short drive to many restaurants and a well stocked grocery store. The only thing that would have made our stay more perfect would have been to stay longer. Would love to visit Barbados and Harper’s Villa again. And, the pictures that show the house, is exactly what the villa looks like in person. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Harpers Villa was the home base for our party of 7 (Ages 11-80) for our trip to Barbados.
The Villa provides everything one would need:
- it is clean
- there is lots of space
- it is very reasonably priced
- there is a pool
- the beds are good
- there is a housekeeper
- there is a local manager who is VERY helpful
- it is conveniently located
- it has a nice view
- the house is well equipped with the things you would need (from plates to guidebooks)
- it felt safe
Harpers Villa is one of those places that everything just somehow seems to work together, and the end result is a great place!

HOLIDAY IN PARADISE
Villa is beautiful and spacious with a good sized pool and ideally situated. Thank you to Simon who greeted us and made himself available for any eventuality, along with his funny ‘one liners’. Also would thank the lovely Anne who came to keep the villa spick and span for us. Always had a big smile on her face asking if there was anything specially needing attention. Would have given review five stars but for fridge/freezer, nothing wrong with it just inadequate for a large family. An chest freezer in laundry room would solve this problem! We hope to book Harper’s again. Jordan’s Supermarket in Speightstown is brilliant and so is Cost-U-Less on Highway 2.

Fabulous Villa great location stunning views
The Harpers Villa is in a charming, majestic and elegant situation on the islands West Coast.
It's a beautifully appointed villa, has stunning views over the Caribbean Sea and amazing sunsets.
If there is a slight disappointment it is only that it is not set more expansively in its own grounds, however the property is extremely spacious.
Our stay there was absolutely delightful.

A beautiful house with breathtaking views.
We had a few issues at the beginning as we didn't know the house at all but Sophie and Lesleyann smoothed everything over and we enjoyed our stay.
If you are looking for anything negative about the property it would be the road to the house...it's not very kind to autos...(needs to be graded or paved) but not the owners issue I would think.
I would book Harpers again in a second though.
