Very well located apartment. Javier was very responsive to all issues including not being able to get in because the keylock wouldn''t open and there was no hot water. Lots of space in the apartment with a modern smart TV. He resolved everything for us very quickly and was easy to communicate with even though we had a language barrier: English to Spanish and vice versa. He was very pleasant and a pleasure to deal with.
Very few essentials provided for cooking, so go to the supermarket while its open. Car park driveway was difficult to navigate for anything other than a small car, as in Spanish small. Overall clean enough but carpets could have been cleaner.

The apartment totally exceeded our expectations.. It was large, clean, comfortable and fully equipped with gorgeous views.
The beds were comfortable and the TV was huge.
It was a nice touch that we were left things like dishwasher tablets, coffee capsules, kitchen roll etc. and didn't have to go out and buy them.
The location was perfect and just a few minutes from great restaurants and shops.
We rented a car and it was easy to visit so many beautiful places and it was an added bonus to have garage parking as parking was difficult in the centre.
We will definitely recommend it to anybody we know that visits Asturias.
I honestly couldn't criticize a single thing about the apartment or the area in general.

The size of the apartment, and its location were perfect. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay here - apart from some mix ups at checking in.
There are a few things that had we known in advance would have saved us a certain amount of stress:
(1) On Booking.com, it said someone would meet us at the building - they didn't. We called the number given via Booking.com, and they eventually answered, and eventually gave us the number of a lady called Almudena, and she texted us the instructions (in Spanish), of how to get the keys, and gain access.
Our advice woud be, the day before your arrival, request the instructions on how to get the keys etc.
(2) The apartment is in this building with the name of 'Edificio Rey Pelayo 7' (see photo below), and the keys - including the 'clicker' for the parking garage - will be on a key safe near the door of this building. Don't bother asking anyone for 'El Mirador de Cangas, they will have no idea what you are looking for.
(3) The other photo below shows the parking garage. It is beside the Peluqueria (hairdresser) on the main street. You will have to get the keys from the key safe first to access the garage. Be warned though, the parking is VERY tight. We have a Skoda Octavia saloon -a medium sized car- and it was a daily challenge to get in and out.
(4) You will be asked to pay cash for your stay UP FRONT on the day of your arrival. We didn't know this in advance. The lady who texted us the instructions to access the apartment (Almudena), who incidentally is a nice lady, arrived a few hours after we checked in, and told us her boss sent her to get the money. As we didn't have the cash at the time, she agreed to come back the next day for it, so it was ok, but be prepared to pay in cash for the total cost of your stay.
(5) A small thing, but on Booking.
Parking was a nightmare. The entrance and exit of the garage is very tricky even for a medium size car (ours was a Skoda Octavia saloon). The designated parking space was very, very tight and took a lot of incremental manoeuvering to get into and out of it.
Getting access to the apartment without prior instructions, and having to pay cash up front, without knowing in advance that this was required, was a bit stressful.
The kitchen in the apartment could do with a few more items e.g. a pizza cutter, sharp chopping knife etc., but was otherwise fine.

Loved the place. Very friendly and helpful owners. The dog loved it too. Lots of nature around and the house we had was great. Rustic feel to the place and with everything you need. We worked while we stayed there too and the wifi was good enough to do basic zoom/email etc.

This is a very comfortable apartment very spacious and very well equipped. The location is also great for restaurants and shops and for walking. There is a lift right outside the door which made it very easy for carrying bags up and down.
