it was nicely decorated and v clean.

it was very difficult to find and parking was tricky. it would have been nice to have had milk and maybe biscuits left as it was impossible to find a shop within walking distance and getting around the town in a car was a nightmare. so yes stay there but definitely stock up before you go into the town as the roads are quirky, cobbled and hilly which is lovely to look at but not fun to drive around.

The apartment was modern and placed in a central location of the village.

It lacked some simple amenities such as hand soap and tea bags

Cute accommodation, nicely decorated, lovely local neighbour who welcomed us in. No problems with hot water, once it got going there is plenty! Air con heating also good this time of year. 👍 Restaurants nearby

Coffee pods would been nice to use in the machine, didn't know which kind/not worth to buy whole pack for one night Difficult to Park 😬😬😬/hard to find! (worth it though!)

Freshly refurbished, super sunny, first floor apartment in the old part of Monchique - very comfortable, with a mix of modern and traditional décor. Mostly very quiet. It takes a little while to get your pedestrian bearings in the maze of cobbled streets, but everything (cafés, restaurants, shops) is actually close to hand. Owner Bruno was very friendly and helpful via email, and his on-site contacts were very warm and welcoming (despite the language barrier).

Finding the parking area (instructions provided) isn't straightforward - better to park further down and walk up with your stuff, or locate the parking area first on foot and then drive up :) The single beds (in the second bedroom) felt a bit like camp beds.

Lovely apartment. Nice and stylishly appointed. Everything you need to explore the area and town. Close to all the things you need. The couple that meet you, Fernando and Luisa are a delight.

Located in a quiet street with an apartment very well decorated and comfortable.

The place was a little dusty and because some of the appliances have a UK plug and there’s only 2 adaptors, you can’t have, for example, the toaster and kettle on at the same time. Also, we got a bit upset that after we have bought the capsules for the coffee machine, the machine didn’t work.
