The commodities are good (washing machine, little kitchen) and it is very clean. The room is big and comfortable.

It is very noisy. The accommodation is along a main road of Velas. You can hear cars, trucks, etc... inside and outside. You can also hear your room neighbor. It very expensive for the service.

We loved staying here! The view is just incredible and the hosts totally went above and beyond to help us out - being super friendly and chatty in the process. The deck has hammocks so you can look out over the Pico volcano at breakfast, and there's a great sun garden too.

Great location and view. Hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly when we had minor water leaking in the bathroom. Parking was easy. We loved Velas as a town.

A mirror over the built-in alcove in the bedroom would be helpful. More hooks or a coat stand for hanging jackets etc in the entrance would be a good addition. The kitchette was pretty basic with no oven.

Casa dos Lagos was a fantastic stay and exceeded our expectations for view and beauty! The place was cosy, relaxing, and the garden was exceptionally beautiful. The pond, flowers, and view are far more beautiful in person than in the pictures and it was always a joy to eat, sit, and relax outside!

- didn’t meet the hosts but super nice on the phone and really approachable and chilled - stayed at the tiny studio type and was perfect for 2 - bathroom is perfect, great shower - view over Morro de Velas and the sunset was perfect - also great for the sunrise - kitchen well equipped - bed was huge!!

We had a great stay at this place, despite our super-last-minute-booking, the check-in worked perfectly with a brief introduction and we got a bigger apartment. The apartment was very clean and spacious and had a small but well equipped kitchenette. We slept very well on the comfortable bed. The patio was nice and the garden neat and beautiful with its two ponds. The view from our room on the sea and the Pico was simply stunning and we watched amazing sunsets. The staff was a big help for every question and wish whatsoever and responded quickly.

Fly screens on the windows would be a nice add-on, even though there weren't too many insects around.
