The Pool House on the Massanutten Mountain
Nous sommes les nouveaux propriétaires (2018) de cette maison et avons effectué de grandes améliorations.
Profitez de la piscine intérieure 16 x 32 pieds toute l'année! Pluie ou briller, c'est toujours le temps de la piscine! Seule maison avec une piscine sur la montagne. Lors de belles nuits, assurez-vous d’apporter des guimauves à rôtir dans la cour, près du foyer extérieur. Cette maison a une grande intimité étant sur 2 lots.
Chambre des maîtres au premier étage avec salle de bains. A l'étage, 3 chambres. La chambre n ° 2 a un lit queen-size, la chambre n ° 3 avec un futon et la chambre n ° 4 est la chambre avec lits superposés avec 3 lits superposés. 2 sont jumeaux sur jumeaux, le 3ème est jumeaux sur plein. Il y a aussi une salle de bain complète à l'étage. La 3ème salle de bain complète est en bas près de la salle de la piscine.
Il y a un patio fermé au large du maître, qui a la configuration de trous de maïs en taille réelle.
Table des échecs / dames dans le salon, avec des jeux d’enfants, plus Uno, Phase 10 et un assortiment de livres.
Patio a gril à gaz. Oui, avec le réservoir de propane déjà.
Les chambres sont fournies avec des draps propres déjà rangés, une serviette et un gant de toilette que chaque client pourra utiliser. Nous avons même des porte-brosses à dents près de l'évier. La baignoire et les douches sont équipées de shampoing, revitalisant et nettoyant pour le corps, vous n'avez donc pas besoin d'apporter le vôtre. Vous voudrez peut-être apporter votre propre serviette de piscine ou vous pouvez simplement laver et sécher votre serviette de bain dans la laveuse et la sécheuse que nous avons près de la salle de billard. Ne vous inquiétez pas, nous avons aussi du détergent.
La cuisine a tous les pots / casseroles dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pendant votre voyage, ainsi que suffisamment d'assiettes / bols / verres pour servir une armée. Nous avons une cafetière et des filtres. Le congélateur a une machine à glaçons intégrée.
Big HD téléviseurs dans 3 chambres plus salon. Boîtes Roku sur chaque téléviseur. Utilisez notre compte Netflix et DirecTV NOW avec HBO déjà connectés. Things we loved: Pristine condition of the pool and water. Whole family played in there as soon as we arrived. Lots of different places to gather, grandkids and I played on the glassed in sun porch, guys chatted in living room and daughters chatted while in kitchen cooking. Beautiful neighborhood for walking with trails and a nice playground. House was very clean.
Things liked less: Oven is rather complex and requires a learning curve, suggest preheating on convection and then switching to regular baking. Casserole dish could use replacing.
Overall, had a great weekend. Will probably rent it again in the future.

I had an incredible time at this location. The pool was amazing, and everything was spotless. We enjoyed playing games and the grill worked perfectly. The surrounding area had fantastic food options as well. The host was very responsive, making our stay even better. Overall, five stars and I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The best part of this property is the indoor pool. It was wonderful to be able to use the pool regardless of weather and with no need for the usual sunscreen layers.
The house had everything we needed, the host was very responsive and it was a location that made it easy to get to everything we wanted to do. The home was essentially clean but it is old and dated. Though there are three bathrooms listed, only one is close to the three upstairs bedrooms. The air conditioning/coolness in the upstairs rooms also was lacking despite our cranking the thermostat to a low temperature.
One of our biggest surprises was that despite paying for a cleaning fee, we discovered we were responsible for taking our trash to a location that was certainly not close. It also seemed that the location we were directed to take the trash might not have been a location where we were allowed to take the trash. We kind of felt like we were breaking some resort rule in doing so. In addition, we were surprised to see other homes near us with trash pick-up on the day we departed.
Even with that, the house very much met our needs for a wonderful vacation.

We loved our stay at your brat property. Two things that might help future guests. First more lighting outside it was very dark upon our arrival. Second larger Kureg. Again we had a great trip.

We had awesome stay. POOL, POOL, POOL!! So amazing. House was nice big and neat.. linen on beds could be a little fresher, as well as pantry could use a scan and update on items dates . Overall awesome and will be going again!!

We stayed at the property last weekend and had a great time. Perfect house for families traveling together. We had 4 adults and 4 children in our group. The property was clean, and had all of the amenities you could ask for. Plenty of towels, kitchenwares, etc. The pool was great. We enjoyed making s’mores around the fire-pit and using the propane grill for dinner. You can’t beat the location of this house. Massanutten is so scenic and peaceful. I highly recommend. I would love to book again sometime.

A perfectly enjoyable stay. The house was well stocked and incredibly clean. My only suggestion would be to bring your own pillows as the ones provided have seen a better day. Overall, would stay again.

2 families with kids 1-8 stayed here and we had a blast! We had morning and evening swims and went to Shenandoah valley for hikes in the middle of a day. What a way to spend time together! Our kids really enjoyed their bunk room and the pool, obviously. I loved that the owner stocked necessary supplies so we didn’t have to think about it or remember every little thing. Owner was very responsive to messages.

What a fantastic house in a great location. The pictures don’t do it justice. I escape for the weekend with my four children and a friend of theirs and we never ran out of things to do in the house. It’s well stocked with games and puzzles and books and let’s be realistic the pool is just the crown jewel. My kids played in that pool all weekend long. I had to make them pack up early so they could stay in until the very last second! Also the pool is huge. Amazing house! We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! We loved the pool, firepit and fireplace; just an all around great place to gather and have some fun. There were eight adults in our group and there was plenty of room for us. The beds were comfortable. There's a market about five minutes drive from the place which has convenience items and souvenirs and a full grocery store less than 20 minutes away. We had such a great time we're already thinking of going back next year.

We had a nice stay at the pool house. The pool area was the highlight of our stay as our grandchildren loved the pool. Our host, Marshal, was very easy to communicate with. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing and serving meals. The lighting in the house, especially the kitchen, was dim. The beds were not very comfortable though that may be due to our preference for firmer beds.

This was our family’s fourth trip to the Pool House, and every single trip has been wonderful. Marshall and Joy are simply lovely to work with, including with a logistical wrinkle we had on our side this time. The house is clean, comfortable, and has everything we need. The beds are comfy, and the living area is spacious. And of course there’s the pool—meticulously kept up and a ball for the whole family. Our kids clamor to go back to the Pool House, and we are happy to oblige. Thanks for another great stay, Marshall and Joy!!

Great communication with the hosts when we needed help finding new activities for our kiddos when the weather was too warm for the winter sports we had booked. Lovely home and the pool kept the kids happy for hours and hours. Fire pit was lots of fun for making s’mores and kitchen was well stocked for us to make meals.

My family loved staying at the pool house. It was so great being able to swim in February, and we definitely took advantage. We spent hours every day in the indoor pool. We also loved that the house was so close to snow tubing and ice skating at the resort. We will absolutely be back!

Pool and room temperature were very comfortable considering the outside temps. Although the house temps were comfortable the area exiting the pool and the adjacent bathroom were very cold, suggest having a small heater in the bathroom. Other than that inconvenience the house was cozy and met our expectations.

We rented this property for family weekend at JMU. The house was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of room. The only time we left the house was to attend football game on campus. Our favorite was evenings in the pool :) Looking forward to our next visit!

It was super easy to get to this property with plenty of parking space in the front. Super big living room and dining room to relax, watch tv or play games on the big table. The bedrooms and bathrooms were good. The pool was awesome and nice to have available for the adults and kids when we wanted to just relax. Nice property to just get away and have some fun.

Our whole family really enjoyed the property and location. The indoor pool was the highlight for kids. An older home with charms. If you have really small children, unless they can sleep in bunk beds the bedrooms with the double and queen beds are pretty tight to add a pack and play (bring your own.) we loved our time there!

The indoor pool is a game changer!
We came here in April during spring break. We weren't keen on travelling too far from home or staying in a hotel, so this was the perfect place for us. We enjoyed all that Massanutten has to offer, but we always ended (and started) the day in the pool. It was warm, clean and spacious. Our 7, 5, and 3 year olds really enjoyed it. We made s'mores by the firepit. The beds were surprisingly comfortable - I often have back pain when I sleep in a new bed, but not this time! It was a really relaxing and nice trip!
