Garrison Bay Estates is a haven providing the ultimate Waterfront family vacation rental home and Italian Culinary Retreat.
This newer 3 bedroom 2 bath San Juan Island waterfront paradise will provide all the comforts of a luxury resort with all the conveniences of home.
We created this special place for people looking for comfort without pretense; friendliness and respect for privacy; a place to cook, drink, eat and explore.
If you would like to enjoy your holiday in stylish ambient which is comfortable and inviting in the most beautiful area of San Juan Island then come join us.

These four words describe what a culinary vacation is all about. We are constantly laughing together and having fun. Our Hands On COOKING CLASSES will take a couple of hours and the eating might take just as long.
Italians are justifiably
famous for keeping culinary traditions alive and in a corner of San Juan Island you will find the best example of all that is great about Italian food at Garrison Bay Estates.
Our cooking classes will take place in our beautiful country kitchen, using my grandmother’s recipes. All true ITALIAN HOME COOKING. Of course, everything is done by hand, from scratch, in the old fashioned way Italians have been doing for centuries.
You will be involved 100%. Be ready to put that apron on and sink your hands in dough as we explore the art of Italian Cooking.
Arriving at this waterfront 3 bedroom, 2bath home, you will be greeted with a complimentary WELCOME BASKET. Your Basket will include a bottle of wine (in which to dip your assortment of Italian Biscotti) gourmet coffee, tea, olive oil & vinegar and non-alcoholic Sparkling Apple Cider .
You will enjoy the bright open
interior with contemporary furnishings in each room. Take advantage of striking bay views from large over-sized windows.
A luxury sized master bedroom offers a King bed and private deck to enjoy your morning coffee and freshly made biscotti or muffins. Every detail is exceptional with plush spa towels and high thread count cotton sheets.
Master bath has twin sinks, full walk in shower and soaking tub. The second bedroom with queen feather bed has a delightful garden view and the third bedroom has two double beds, feather beds, extra pillows and garden view.
A twin size roll-away bed is available as well as Baby gear, crib and booster seat at no extra charge.
Kitchen is more than fully equipped and includes Waffle Maker, Panini Grill, French Coffee Press, Bigoletti Espresso Maker.
All the 'must have' items including wine glasses and blender. Even cook books.
The
Large great room with 60" Satellite TV & CD/DVD player, has french doors to expansive deck. Large lawn area for play. Toy chest for children. Games, cards and more. Washer & Dryer available.
From the beach you can see British Camp National Park with its great hiking trails . It is only 5 minutes away.!
Near by is San Juan Golf and Country club for golf and tennis plus clubhouse dining.
Bring your own bike or rent from the bike shop downtown. Launch your kayak in your front yard into Garrison Bay. No kayak - no problem, Crystal Seas Kayaking offers tours and rentals. Bird watchers and naturalist will enjoy viewing the bays abundant wildlife from canoe, kayak or beach. Soak in sun all day while you enjoy the panoramic views and BBQ in your own park like yard steps from the bay.
The expansive lawn rolls to waters edge and is perfect for family games of volleyball, badminton, croquet and Bocce. Equipment provided.

Roche Harbor or Friday Harbor.

Great spot for little ones. The provided Pack N Play, toys and highchair made packing a breeze. The yard is perfect for playing outside with a view.

We had a great stay at this location. Very nice house and a great location. Believe listing should be changed because first amenity listed is a hot tub and there is not one! All there is is a soaking tub in the master bath.
Also would recommend better coordination with lawn care personnel. Two nights in a row, they came late (6-7pm) to do the lawn. Very noisy when we were trying to enjoy a quiet evening. They need to come during the day when most people are probably out enjoying the island.

Comfortable, family home. Wonderful yard for the kids to play. Home style furnishings and large dinner table make for great get-togethers. Quiet neighborhood, good nights sleep too! Convenient location just down a country lane.

We had a lovely time in this home - the location is great and the yard and access to water is even better.
Given the price point, however, there were some things that could be improved. Examples include no sponge to wash pots/pans in the kitchen, no shampoo in the guest shower, no regular salt for cooking (only large crystals of sea salt), and an uncomfortably firm mattress in the master bedroom. All small things.

This house on San Juan Island was a great choice for our family vacation. The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 3 children, and the yard was big enough for the kids to run around outside.
We enjoyed watching the nightly visits by the deer through the large picture windows. I enjoyed coffee on the back balcony/porch in the morning.
We plan to come back again.

The house is comfortable and in a beautiful location. We had a great time. We have some recommendations to improve the experience for guests. The alarm outside went off during the night and early morning, waking us up. Needs to be attended to, bathroom hand towels and wash rags soiled and worn thin, toilet in one bathroom broken. Although it was fixed the problem continued and toilet kept running which triggered the alarm. The refrigerator does not close tightly.Think these are minor improvements, but if attended to would enhance the experience of your guest so they would not have to be inconvenienced. Thank you

We came with a boat but had no buoy or dock to keep it. We would have liked to check the house if it met our needs. This was not possible. We would have discovered that the access to our boat would have been through dinghy and thus a problem. The overall stay was good

Our family stayed here for our niece’s wedding along with all the festivities included. We took family pictures in front of the water, enjoyed our coffee on the deck and burgers at the picnic table. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Owner was available and she left a notebook full of information about the Island.

Thanks for the great stay Karen! The location was great and San Juan is a special place. The house was clean and took care of our needs. The check in emails provided two different lock box codes and we could not get the lock box open. But once we discovered the issue, and tried the second combo, the check in process was easy.

The location of this property was nice and quiet. The yard was large and had a nice view of the bay with a fun fire pit. Our check in process was poor without a working code and no key left inside. The welcome binder was very disorganized and the wifi password was crossed out multiple times. The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable for our family/friends. And the multiple signs (everywhere) regarding the drought and water usage was a bit excessive. We can be mindful and responsible with just a simple statement in the listing regarding the issue of drought and water consumption. Overall the home and binder need an update!

The location of the house is wonderful. House interiors and appliances could use upgrade. During our stay dishwasher was broken so we could not use it. Living area is poorly lit. Kitchen utensils well stocked.

Overall it was a good stay. Found someones under garment from previous guest in queen bed room. Really need to do some basic maintenance on the place. But looking past that, we had a good stay. Had a wonderful time hiking and wandering the island.

Excellent location and great manager
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house near Roche Harbor. We brought kayaks and paddle boards and enjoyed the access to the outdoors. The communication with the property manager couldn’t have been easier.
