The house has everything you need for a family holiday. Well equipped kitchen and excellent outside eating area with a view of the sea. We had a relaxing time thank you.

Amazing comfortable great location played at the stunning beach every day

A gorgeous house with super comfortable couches, massive dining room table, OK outdoor furniture. Great kitchen set up. Good for entertaining. Is on the corner of road to Totaranui, and has footpath right next to house. Reasonably well screened but not entirely private. A five minute walk to beach, via a path with high steps or a 10-15 minute walk down the quiet road. It also has a partial view out to Ngawhiti island (Mãori = the baler). Shame the house over the road blocks most of the view. We found the location good: easy to pop in to Tākaka or drive to Totaranui and walk a bit of the Abel Tasman, or head north and visit the Te Waikoropupu springs. Tata beach itself is lovely. Paddleboard and kayak hire, coffee cart & ice creams at north end of beach, super clear water. 2 beds are only suitable for children or extremely short adults. These are only accessible by walking through the two inside bedrooms. Instructions for oven, espresso machine would be helpful, we couldn’t find a manual for the oven/hob online - if one of us hadn’t used induction hob before we would’ve struggled to work out. Also oven control markings are worn off so didn’t quite know if we were turning on bake or grill. Scones got a bit blackened! Good selection of kids DVDs but DVD player in lounge didn’t work. Perhaps the one in the sleep out works? Could do with a bit of TLC: skirting boards falling off in kitchen and main bathroom.

A lovely holiday home, very well equipped. Please be aware to ask regarding parking if you are bringing a boat and two families are coming.

Really well equipped property, short stroll to the beach. Would say that if you consider staying that the bunk room is only accessible through each of the double rooms so as long as you are a family or really close friends it could get awkward to get to that room.

Great location with all the amenities needed. Thought that having a cleaner come in after each booking would be a far better option. Few things in the home need to be fixed, blind in sleepout, light in bedroom.light in bathroom. Shower fitting not Great. Wasp nest in outdoor ceiling. Could be better access at front of house but suitable for what we needed. Loved Tata beach Great place and would definitely come back again. Thanks

Great spot in Central location easy access to beach. Wonderful to be able to take our dog, fully fenced to keep them safe. Went in winter so heat pump essential to stay warm. All facilities of a high standard. A few replacement light bulbs is the only thing i can suggest to improve on a great stay. Many thanks.

Enjoyable stay with family and our dog. Just unlucky it was the weekend of the big storm in the top of the south, causing power cuts on the Saturday. The house though overall was ok for us, just a couple of things like a few ceiling light bulbs, bedside light plus the bathroom mirror light blown and the kitchen bin was broken. My only other comment was when we arrived in the dark the previous people had shut the gate when the instructions by Steve asked for it to be left open. In the storm this was frustrating. Parking could be better as our two utes could not fit as there is a tractor on the driveway and access is over a kerb rather than the lowered kerb which was locked off.

Very good place to stay. House was warm and comfortable and reasonably close to the beach. There is a view shaft out to the island. Large windows and outdoor area.

Overall a good place and relaxed host. Would definitely recommend. Nice sunny warm house with well appointed kitchen / living / dining area. Has everything you need. Concrete floors and plywood walls make it modern and easy to care for and clean. The one bathroom in the house is a little tight and could be improved. Second toilet through the laundry is a plus.

Fabulous location, great amenities, short walk from the beach. The bach has a really easy flow which makes it home from home. The bedrooms are fun and playful in layout. The kitchen is stocked with every cooking utensil one could hope for and some! Really great communication from the host and dog friendly which was a big tick for us. Would highly recommend.

This house is an exceptionally well designed holiday home, everything very convenient, easy to live in, easy clean afterwards, great location; we are foodies and found the kitchen well stocked with all the gear we needed, including a coffee machine!

We really enjoyed the 6 days that we were there. The house has just about everything you would require for young and old, even a food bowl for our furry friend. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The water pressure was amazing. Steve was lovely to deal with. Just remember to bring your own linen (we did not realise that we needed to wash their duvet covers before we left until we got there). We highly recommend this place for all ages and family sizes. We had a great 4 day stay at this Tata Beach property. It is very modern, clean and great for families. Loved the space in the open lounge/dining/kitchen. 2 toilets are super handy. Nice outdoor patio area which is sunsoaked in the day.

Nice and sunny. Beds could be way better though. And linen supplied would have been really nice. Otherwise a cool stay.

The batch was clean, modern, comfortable and relaxing. More information required on how to use technical appliances. Otherwise a great batch. Would stay there again. Easy walking distance to Tata beach.

The house was perfect for our needs. Lay beautifully to the sun, was a short walk from the beach and was easy to stay in. Also the owners have the house as a running house so was well equipped with kitchen equipment - including an ice maker on the fridge. Outside shower was fantastic. Would use the bach again

Had a very good time. Only 5 min walk to beach. House well set up with outdoor shower as well. BBQ needed a little bit of work and the microwave did not always work. May have been our ignorance but could not find an instruction booklet. Overall very happy with our stay. Owner arranged for a water delivery while we were there which was most appreciated. Would stay again.
