We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin on the lake. My boys loved getting out on the water. It was very peaceful. We loved hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park everyday and checking out the quaint town of Grand Lake. Patty is a great host and provided everything we needed at the cabin!

We have lived here all our lives and never get tired of seeing Grand Lake. The view from the Cabin is wonderful. The Cabin is clean and comfortable and sits on the Lake looking North towards the town. Host provides a full package of entertainment packages on two new TV’s. Note, you cannot stream on them if that’s something you like to do. Host provides lots of water craft entertainment too. We look forward to returning to this beautiful cabin.

Beautiful setting that can’t be beat on Grand Lake. The kayaks, paddle board and canoes were a big plus. Would definitely stay again!

I have grown up visiting Grand Lake. A lot of the VRBOs there are old properties that take advantage of the great location to provide a sub standard experience. Not this property! It’s very comfortable and clean and the unit owner does a great job.

This house is situated right on Grand Lake. Waking up to see the beautiful lake against the mountains never gets old. Our grandkids were over the moon casting off of the docks and going for paddle boat rides. This property is immaculate, comfortable and very well equipped. The hosts were great to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed out little get away and would definitely come back again! Thank you!

The views from this house was absolutely amazing. We saw a bald Eagle nesting right by. The owners had binoculars so you could bird watch. Very clean house. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and two teenage sons really enjoyed this beautiful lake cabin for our Thanksgiving getaway! Nestled in a quite neighborhood close to winter park and the Rocky Mountains where we enjoyed hiking and a little skiing. Please take the need for 4x4 seriously if visiting in the winter months!

We had a wonderful time at Patty’s house. You really feel like you are in a treehouse over the lake! The house was well appointed with everything you could need! Waking up to snow made for stunning views! Patty was fantastic to work with!

I highly recommend Patty's home for your next Colorado trip. Set right on Grand Lake, the views from the house are stunning. It feels like you're looking at a painting. The house itself was spotless and so comfy. Not only were the beds and couches great, but the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Check it out before you go shopping, as you probably only need to buy the food you want to cook. The 4 of us had hot water for every shower and the washer and dryer looked brand new. Stream whatever you want from either tv, cook on the grill, enjoy the fire pit, fish from the dock, take a boat out or just relax with a cocktail on the pergola. This house really had it all. We traveled into Rocky Mountain National Park multiple times. The Grand Lake entrance is about 10 minutes away. There was never a line to enter, unlike the busier Estes Park entrance. Plenty of good hiking on the west side. And the town of Grand Lake is very charming. There are good restaurants and some cute shops. The local market has all the basics, but you may want to travel to Granby for your big shop. Patty was very communicative and a great host. She welcomes you into her home and gives you all the information you need. If you decide to book, please check out the home's website she provides. It tells you the history of the home and makes you feel like you're part of the family. I really can't recommend this home highly enough. All my friends agreed that it was just perfect. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful home in such an awe-inspiring location.

Great house and terrific host

The scenic views from the cabin over Grand Lake were spectacular - especially at sunrise! The entire property was spotless upon our arrival. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and ample counter space. The owners provided a wide array of consumables so that all we needed to bring was food and beverages. We were two couples traveling together, and with bedrooms and baths on both floors, each couple had ample privacy when not enjoying the open living area and kitchen together. The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive- I would highly recommend this property!

Terrific lake house! Clean and well stocked with everything needed for a great getaway! The private dock is a game changer if you have a boat! Hosts were terrific! We’ll be back for sure!

Property was super clean and had views of the lake and into RMNP that will last a lifetime. Patty is a terrific host and left no detail out on check in or departure process. She is easy to communicate with and genuinely wants guests to enjoy their home. No need to look for another vacation home in Grand Lake! Trail Ridge Road leading into the west entrance of RMNP is less than 15 minutes away and the shops and restaurants in Grand Lake are 5 minutes from cabin. We've stayed in many Colorado mountain resort towns like Breckenridge and this is by far our favorite spot. Way less crowded than other spots. We will be back!

We had a great few days enjoying all of the lakeside amenities(paddle boarding, swimming and kayaking) this wonderful cabin had to offer!!

I have never written a VRBO review in all of the places I have ever stayed but Patty was so amazing and the house was so amazing and the view was so amazing that I just had to! If you are considering this place.... just do it. The house is exactly as pictured, the beds are so comfortable, don't even get my started on the pillows (I asked the owner for the link the day we left so I could go home and buy them for myself), the view is impossible to put into words, the number of fun things they offer to do on the lake is perfect. The lake seemed to be more laid back than most lakes I have been to, which was a plus. Pretty much everything was kayaking, paddle boarding or canoeing. The people that were in boats were usually just cruising around so it felt completely safe to canoe across the lake. I can't say enough good things about this place or Patty as a host. Incredible...I Grand Lake as a town was beautiful, clean, friendly and unique! I can't recommend this place enough... I will 100% be back! Thank you, Patty, for being an amazing host!!!

We visited the cabin in winter time and it was absolutely stunning. The location is great. The owners let us know ahead of time that the roads required a 4WD vehicle and that was true. It was the perfect spot to cook, relax, and enjoy the scenery. We loved that they had a book full of recommendations for food and activities!

We decided to have a white Christmas this year in Colorado. Our family came from California, North Dakota, and Texas for this trip. The cabin was nice and cozy with the most amazing views. The pictures don’t do this cabin enough justice. We even had an engagement at the dock overlooking the lake and mountains. I would definitely recommend staying here, Patty and Chris are amazing hosts. This place now has a special place in our hearts!

We rented this gorgeous Grand Lake property for a mini fall break getaway. The property was clean and had mostly new, eclectic furnishings. We stay at a lot of Vrbos and this one was by far and away the best appointed. They stock pretty much every spice and kitchen gadget you might need, and even provide high quality shampoos and soaps in their clean, modern bathrooms. My teens were thrilled to have the kayaks and canoe on-site and at their disposal, and we made use of a ladder ball set as well. We also took advantage of the provided firewood so we could be outside in the chilly fall weather and enjoy the gorgeous views. Owner is very responsive - and much of the art inside the home is her own! You can tell the property is loved. Would definitely stay again!

We were thoroughly pleased with the cleanliness and location of this cabin. It is less than 10 minutes from the Rocky Mountains, and you get a fantastic view of the mountains and lake from the cabin. This cabin also comes pretty well stocked with all the things you would need at home. We had a great time at this cabin! Fantastic cabin with awesome views!
