Our overall stay was great. The property may be pet friendly and the sofas didn’t seem to get vacuumed, but nothing that would keep us from staying there again. Management was great. We had two days where the pool did not open at the time it says, but again nothing important. The property only has one tv, that for us was a negative having a large group with young adults. Kitchen was well equipped. Beach/pool towels, golf clubs, beach chairs, washer and dryer very important.

We enjoyed the condo and all the beach toys and towels. I would recommend to add in the disclosures only one parking space available with the unit and second vehicles are required to pay $15/night. Plus, one bath was missing a bath rug and another did not have any hand towels. There was plenty of soap and shampoo. The beach views were amazing and the las palmas property was beautiful. The condo itself needs a few repairs, but overall it was a great rental for the price.

When they say steps from the beach they are not lying. Literally this building is right beside 2 separate paths leading to the beach. Check in was a breeze and instructions were spot on. Condo was clean and stocked. There is a huge shelf of beach toys, chairs, snorkels, and more. Good layout with bathrooms and rooms.

House was well equipped with towels & linens; beach toys, chairs, umbrella, & towels; kitchen could use additional glasses & kids cups but otherwise well stocked; grill & dishwasher were great; house needs some repairs from water damage including paint, window tracks & seals. AC worked well. Pool beautiful, contracting company staff could have been more friendly.

The proximity to the beach was unreal - couldn’t get any closer which was perfect, especially with two toddlers. The condo was updated, but could use some TLC. Cracked stairs on the upper level, chipped paint in many of the rooms, etc. However, it did not affect our experience overall. The kitchen and “extras” (beach chairs, golf clubs, laundry supplies, beach and bath towels) were all VERY well stocked. We had to call the property management mid-stay due to a leaky vent, which was promptly tended to and fixed by maintenance. We had a wonderful time and we would definitely go back in the future!

The location is very good but the apartment is in great need of maintenance. Half of the light on the kitchen don’t work. Stairs are broken, walls have signs of water leak. An electrical outlet is open and my grand daughter almost got electrocuted there. If all of this is fixed the apartment is ok

The property, view and overall experience was spectacular...a tropical paradise!

Palmas Del Mar was a convenient and comfortable home base for us. This condo was situated right on the ocean (amazing views!) and just steps from the pool. But we did have to travel to other beaches to avoid the piles of sargassum. We appreciated the small grocery in the plaza and enjoyed delicious meals at the neighborhood restaurants. It was quiet when we were there. I think we were the only ones staying in the entire building that week so we had no problems with parking. The condo was larger than I was expecting, a nice surprise. Our family of 5 had more than enough room to stretch out. It’s a 3 bedroom unit but has a loft with a large and comfortable futon on the third floor with a full bath nearby so it really could have worked as a 4 bed. The beds and bedding were very comfortable (could use some higher quality pillows). The master bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled and was also very nice. It was fully stocked with bath and beach towels, bathroom and kitchen essentials. We were there for a week so we definitely appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit as well. So why just 3 stars overall? I own and adore old homes and have stayed in vacation rentals across Europe. A few spots of peeling paint, leaky windows, interior water marks or even minor wall cracks don’t scare me - it’s understandable for this place which takes a beating right on the ocean. But we had a couple of problems that needed attention. 1. We found the plumbing under the sink leaked badly. We alerted property management and they planned to send someone out but it ended up being faster for my husband to just fix it himself. 2. I think the people who stayed ahead of us used the kitchen a lot - it sort of had a lingering smell of fried food. 3. On the day we checked out, we woke up to a large puddle outside of the master bedroom which looked to be a problem with A/C condensation leaking through a grate in the ceiling. Property management planned to send someone out after we checked out. 4. Upon checking out and turning out lights and locking doors, we learned that one of the doors to a bedroom balcony had been unlocked the entire time we were there and we weren’t able to lock it with the keys provided. A little scary, or a testament to the safety of the neighborhood. 5. The unit also needs lightbulbs replaced. These problems were likely an anomaly, but our experience nonetheless. Has potential for 5 stars, especially at the price we paid.
