Very nice hotel close to the airport. Big apartment, huge balcony, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, nicely furnitured. Nice hosts. Recommended for both, short and long stays - you will have everything you need there ;-)

It was amazing, the owners are the nicest people, they checked with us regularly, gave us transport to the airport and it was very nice to talk to them. The place had a heat on, hairdryer and all the things you need it the kitchen. I would definitely recommend it!

I rarely leave reviews/feedback about the places that I visit, but it is the time when I will make an exception. Vlad and Dana have organized our stay the way we wanted, and as a result, we saved a lot of time and energy. Everything was just perfect starting from picking us up from another part of the island to making our stay comfortable to giving us more information about different options in terms of car renting, sights, restaurants and interesting activities and many more things. Our stay couldn't be any better. Thanks!

Very clean small apartment and great hosts

Due to the wind the balcony was unusable. We would have to carry out our chairs and table each morning and back in at night. Just not practical. We therefore had to sit inside.

Accommodation was great...The owners were nice, they dealt with everything, they set up a car for us. I highly recommend

The view, the comfortable bed.

This apartment became the biggest but the only disappointment on Madeira. We give 5 and all this points goes directly only to Vladimir, owner, personally for his customer focus and attention. To local service and maintenance 0. First, apartment which we rented was without washing machine inspite of the fact that it is placed on the fotos and are indicated on the Booking page. It was hard as we stayed long enough. Usually people book private apartment for being as at home and use all facilities as at home. Vladimir offered a solution but it didn't work. Second, first night we have slept dressed because there were the most horrible sheets which I have ever seen. All in pellets, with a lot of human's hairs of all length and colours and even with a spot of mold. And seconds there were less of duvets in spite of the fact that it was always 15 degrees as maximum inside. So we had to buy our sheets next morning. Also we have asked the duvets and the cleaner have brought the duvet without cover but it was also the most terrible which I have seen. Looked like somebody wiped their shoes, with different spots. So we had to buy the cover also. Third, the inner walls inside the kitchen box were covered by fungus and it grows every day, we have told about it to Vladimir but nobody came to solve this problem. Also the water every morning and evening was very cold, and given attention to the fact that apartment was raw and cold, having a shower was a real test. But I am sure that on summer there would be more pleasant.

We couldn't believe our luck with this apartment. Our hosts were beyond hospitable from the start, picking us up from the airport and pointing out attractions on the way to the accomodation. The apartment itself... Wow. It was completely stocked with everything we needed. Facilities were outstanding. The view was extraordinary, especially for sunrise. Our rooftop terrace was such a treat. Very quiet location, despite being near the airport we were never disturbed. We were provided with a free carpark for our hire car. The accomodation is also next door to a pizza restaurant.

The location is not super convenient without a car. There is a bus stop very near to the accomodation but that requires a reliance on public transport. We hired a car so this was not at all a problem for us.

The owner, Vlad, is fabulous, he treated us to a coffee in the nearby pizza place and gave us all the information we needed about the area and apartment. After a few days in Funchal and not sleeping because of the city noise this apartment is what the doctor ordered. The bed is just 10 out of 10 and the peaceful background sound of the neighbourhood dogs and goats is homely and tranquil. The roof terrace is a treat, if you are a plane lover like us you will be especially pleased. The view faces the end of the runway but trust me the noise is not a problem. Madeira has minimal flights and we slept peacefully through the night. Large spacious apartment, great for families, supermarket 5 mins walking distance.

A little far out for our needs as we didn't have a car. Although the owner did mention he hired his car out. The walk in to Machico takes around 25 mins and is scenic...the walk back is not so easy but you can catch the bus at 1.95 euros or around 7 euros in a cab.
