The location was great.

All of the dishes and pots and pans were dirty. They must’ve never been cleaned and put in the cupboards like that. There was dirt and dust on the baseboards of the bathroom. There was hair in the shower. They say they have a membership with CARC, but we went there to swim and it was expired.

Love the location. Easy to get to everything in Deep Creek. Really enjoyed the views of the lake from the property.

The noise from the neighboring units was so bad. There is zero sound barrier between units. We did notify the property management company when this was happening after quiet hours and nothing was done. In fact, the neighbors got louder. Their loud music rattled the cabinets in our unit. This made the trip with our 5 year old challenging, especially at bedtime. The appliances are very dated. Fridge compressor would make a horrible clunk sound. The doors and windows let in lots of cold air. Couldn’t use the fan in one of the bedrooms as it was wired to another light and couldn’t be turned off without turning off the fan. Wasn’t the cleanest upon arrival. The management company did offer to send someone out to clean it further if we wanted. We wanted to like the property but the bad out weighed the good.

I really liked the facilities and all the amenities that came wit the unit. It was no frills but it had everything we might have needed for our stay. Was especially happy with the small kitchen and the laundry. My daughter had her own space up in the loft.

The walls were noticeably paper thin. Guests in the unit below us arrived later in the evening our first night there and we could hear every word of their conversation from our main floor bedroom. On the first night my husband had trouble sleeping because of the truck traffic on the main road. The last night we were there we could clear hear the adult nocturnal activities in the unit below us... very very clearly. The noise bleed issue is a problem for us also because we had a young child and it was or could have been disruptive.

Amenities are great in the condo. Coffee shop and an awesome pizza place next door. Great view of the lake. Close to Wisp and the state parks.

Very noisy. Condo walls are very thin. You hear even mild conversations thru the wall. Our first night some younger adults were throwing a party that lasted past midnight. I called to get another condo but I didn’t receive a reply for almost 13 hours. Staff seemed friendly but gave no resolution. Definitely do not book if you are looking for quiet and relaxation. Street noise is loud also. Our third night we had new neighbors below us and they were very quiet.

This is an awesome spot. It's right on the lake. There is much that the location has to offer even if you just want to lounge around and relax. There's a grill and indoor fireplace. Numerous places to read a book, such as the comfy sofa or outside on the deck. As well as several options for rooms to cuddle up and watch a show or movie.

This did not turn out to be the location to just relax and get away from everything. And that was because of the completely inconsiderate neighbors that were allowed to rent the adjoining unit. This location has a strict policy on quiet hours. After this terrible weekend, I now understand why. The A side and B side of the building is separated by a paper thin wall. Conversations from the living area of the A side travelled through to our entrance staircase on the B side where they are amplified and projected directly in to our bedrooms and living area. The neighbors would pull in to their rental at 10pm when quiet hours actually are supposed to go in effect, and be pompous and loud for the next several hours. Any parent of a toddler (like us with a 3 yr old) will be distressed by this. Hearing talking or occasional laughter from next door is one thing. But these people had no concern for anyone or anything but their own good time. And when you are hearing their conversation as if they are in the room with you, that's when it becomes an issue. Especially when the subject matter that they talk about is lewd and offensive. We neither tried nor Wanted to hear this. And the fact that my children Had to hear them say these things is unacceptable. So I hope no other families in the future encounter such inconsiderate neighbors. And because of this experience I cannot recommend this (otherwise great) place as family friendly. We came here in much need of a relaxing weekend getaway. Instead we just got two sleepless nights.
