First time staying around the south east part of Lake Wallenpaupack and glad we did. The drive to and from local spots was easy with great views of the lake. The home is cozy and Jennifer was great communicating with! Would highly recommend!

The property was beautifully located, the woods were behind us and we saw/feed several deer daily, also the marina where we rented a boat was only 1/2 mile away. The only downside was is that the dishwasher was broken causing handwashing of the dishes, and after the 2nd day, there was a lot to wash with a family of four, which took time away from my vacation. The host was very responsive during our time at the property.

We enjoyed the property and all the house amenities, especially the very well stocked kitchen. It had everything we needed and more!
The convenient location made it easy to venture out to local eateries. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Wallenpaupack for an afternoon.
Jennifer was very attentive and checked in frequently. She went above and beyond to locate an item we left behind and send back to us!

Our family loved this home away from home in the beautiful Poconos.
The layout of this house worked well for us. There are so many spaces to eat and spend time together. The well stocked kitchen was amazing-we made a few meals and had all of the pans and spices we needed.
Finally Jennifer was a gem! We left something behind and she ensured it found it’s way back to us. We can’t wait to come back!

I can't say enough good things about this rental. First of all, the house was spotless. There were many personal touches that added to it. The owner thought of everything that we could possibly need. We had occasion to speak with her and she was very pleasant. The house is secluded but close to the lake, restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a getaway to the Lake Wallenpack area.

Wonderful family time. Easy and quick communication with host who was extremely accommodating! The house was as described and convenient to area attractions. I would have to say it is a bit challenging for outdoor use if you have young children. (We had a1 year old and 4 year old) There is a steep drop in the yard, but it is gated off. The interior could use a bit of updating and air conditioning was a bit underwhelming. Overall it was a very nice mini vacation!

Primary complaint is that this is a private lake. One could not "walk to the lake from cottage." Public access was several miles away.

We stayed here for a final summer getaway before our kids go back to college. The house was cozy and perfect for fun family times. The screened porch was great and our dogs loved watching the many deer. Jennifer was a super responsive host and quick to respond to any questions. It was a great way to end the summer!

My Tranquil Getaway
Apt name for the property. Perfect for four adults-great screened porch was the hit of the week. Nice big deck with plenty of seating that backed up to the woods-very quiet and relaxing. Short drive to marina ( rented a pontoon boat) and east drive to public beach in lake. Everything you could need in the kitchen, plus a washer and dryer. And Jennifer couldn’t have been any more helpful or accommodating. Highly recommended.

Tried something a little different this year with the family vacation - we brought the dog. Unplugged the cell phones, no TV, no newspapers, etc. The house was awesome - great deck and screened in porch. Close to Lake Wallenpaupack - a ton of fun things to do for the entire family.

Great, private location to get away
Came as a guys trip. We did some grilling on the provided grill (which was stocked with a full propane tank), there is ample deck space to hang out on while grilling. We also made use of the fire pit right off the deck which was great to sit around at in the evening. The place was as advertised, clean, and well stocked with whatever we needed. Check-in was easy enough, with a number-pad lock in which we got the unlock code for before the day of. Everything went smoothly and as expected! I am not sure that I will be staying in this area again, but if I were this would be a great choice to come back to.

Excellent Stay
We stayed at this beautiful home in March to celebrate a special birthday with the family and my dog. The house is well equipped with everything that you need. It is set up so well, a bedroom on the first floor with its own bath for mom and two great sized bedrooms upstairs. We really loved the cozy living room where the dining area is close by to spread out the family, but yet we were all in on the same conversation. We did not use the screened in porch because of the very cold weather but it offers such a breath taking view, we really would like to return in the warmer weather and take advantage of being outside minus the bugs..
The house was very, very clean and nice and warm throughout our stay in March. Jennifer was awesome. She answered all of questions and was extremely accommodating with all of our needs. We could not ask for a better host!
This mini getaway was a wonderful memory that we will always hold. We talked, we laughed, and made such wonderful memories in this warm, clean, and beautiful home. We all highly recommend it!!!

Excellent host
Jennifer was excellent and made the trip extremely easy for us. She emailed a list of things to do in the area about a month prior our trip which made it easy for us to book golf and a boat for the lake. She checked in with me a couple days prior to our arrival and on the day of our arrival. The large deck and patio made it easy for us to socialize outside. We played played golf at Paupack Hills Golf Course only a couple miles away. And rented a boat at Pocono Action Sports which included lunch on the lake at The Boat House. Finally, we took a trip to Skirmish USA for some paintball. The weather was great on our trip from 8-2 to 8-5.

Time of our lives!!!
The house was great! Jennifer was so nice and accommodating any issues all you have to do is text her and they're right there to help you with any issues. We enjoyed it all, the deck, the view and most of all wild life. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We jet ski, kayak and even rented a pontoon. The lake is breathtaking. You have to try it all. The people in town we're very friendly and courteous. I would definitely come again and recommend my friends to go. Thank you for the Memories.

Great place for a weekend away!
We stayed at this property for a surprise weekend away for my husband's 30th along with another couple and our 7 month old daughter, 6/28-7/1. The house was in wonderful condition and felt extremely comfortable - we are so glad we chose this location and completely do it again!
The temps were in the 90s all weekend long so we stayed inside for most of the time playing cards and games, and was thankful for the AC to keep us all nice and cool! We brought most of our food so enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen where all items were labeled clearly and stocked! It was so great that we didn't need to worry about the small cooking ingredients!
The large deck was wonderful to socialize as well as use for my daughter's small inflatable pool. We were able to keep it in the shade while we enjoyed catching some sun rays. We played corn hole and relaxed on the lounge chairs until it got too hot.
The screened in porch was utilized every night as it cooled down to eat dinner and hang out until late in the evening. This was probably the best location on the property!
Jennifer was wonderful and checked in with us prior to our stay, during to make sure everything was OK, and afterwards as well. We appreciated the time she took to make sure we were comfortable and that there were no issues. With her messaging she made check in and check out super easy!
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay!
