Our stay was great. A+++. Great cabin with lots of room and very clean. Property Manager kept great communication. Loved it so much i am going to try and rent it again.

The lodge was amazing! Private setting with an incredible view of the foliage. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.There were 10 of us for a family wedding and we had plenty of room and everything we needed. Our host, Mike, couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. The property was amazing! The perfect place for a Girls Weekend with my high-school girlfriends. I've stayed in various VRBO homes and this one by far, was the best stocked. From the kitchen suppiles to the toiletries, Mike makes sure you are well taken care of. And so helpful! We had a little trouble figuring out the heat on the first morning but he responded to my call within 5 mins and walked us through it. The house is close to everything but well off the beaten path so we could enjoy the peace and quiet, we spent our evenings gazing at the stars from the immaculate hot tub. I was however a little concerned for the safety of the gal who slept in the upstairs bedroom who had to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom on the main level.There appears to be a 1/2 bath up there that is locked to guests. My only suggestion to the host is to allow access, especially for the senior population 😆. We had a wonderful time at this property and was sad to say goodbye to it. We would definitely book again and I've already shared the link with others. Thanks Mike!

This was our 5th annual getaway and by far the best. The host was responsive and informative. The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Many meals were cooked in the kitchen and shared in the dining room. We were able to spread out in the comfortable bedrooms. The fire-pit and hot tub were well used. We explored the area on our morning walks and enjoyed the scenery. We truly wished we had more time to stay, and will definitely go back in the future. We would rate this home a 10 out if 10!

We liked the lovely house. We missed some kitchen equipement, one airco fell out of the window and the pump of the hot tub makes a lot of noise, so that sleeping in the bedroom in the basement wasn't possible (for us). Because we had bad weather during our stay we didn't enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Thunderstruck was back at the bike park and this was our home base for the weekend and everyone loved it! All the athletes said they loved having a little slice of heaven tucked back with a hot tub to unwind, a grill for making all the food, a fabulous yard/fire pit, and a great hangout space inside too once it got too chilly to be outside.

The property was gorgeous, clean and exceeded all our expectations! The host was responsive and accommodated our special request. We hope to stay here again next year!

We had a wonderful stay at the SFA lodge. Had a girls weekend in Western Mass and this cabin was the perfect place to stay. The cabin itself was even better than the pictures. It was the perfect spot to relax, soak in the hot tub and enjoy the outdoors. Not too far from swimming spots along the Deerfield as well Shelburne Falls. We had dinner at the Blue Rock Restaurant and it was incredible! We would definitely stay at this cabin again.

This property had everything that we were looking for for our getaway. It was clean and quiet and the hot tub was a nice addition! I would recommend this property to anyone!

Beautiful cabin! All 12 of us had a comfortable bed and none of us felt crowded in the home. The kitchen was stocked with all the needed utensils and pans to make a big dinner for us. The basement was so fun! Our little 3 year old nephew loved playing with all the toys! The teenage boys enjoyed playing video games aa well in the basement. For the moms, we enjoyed the double washers and dryers! We did check out some local shops. Where Did You Get That was our favorite novelty shop! Amy's Cottage was fun for tshirt and sweatshirts. We did find the Appalachian Trail and hiked a couple miles along a beautiful creek. Thank you for letting our large family to explore and enjoy your little mountain gem!

The SFA Lodge is cozy and comfortable. The yard was perfect for our family gathering. A quiet and pretty spot for an enjoyable getaway!

Property was located 15-30 min away from anything you need. Our family and friends stayed for an extended weekend to celebrate my 40th. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The host Michael was very responsive and informative on where to eat or other activities close by. Games for children and adults were all available and we had a great time playing them. Overall a great weekend stay for all!

Mike was very easy to communicate with. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Definitely will stay there again.

This was the perfect jumping off spot for rafting trip. Yard was a hit for Spikeball.

We had a wonderful weekend full of laughter and fun at this beautiful home!! It was spacious and comfy and what beautiful views!! Absolutely would recommend this home! We also loved the close by orchard and their delicious hard cider tasting event. For wonderful lunches we loved the Baked Restaurant in Shelbourne Falls!

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful log cabin while attending a wedding. It’s perfectly located to explore the areas around Charlemont, Shelburne Falls and other surrounding locations. This home offers all the comforts of home and provides you with all the amenities too. Mike was very easy to work with and very accommodating. He replied back to my emails promptly. I would love to stay at this gorgeous log cabin again and highly recommend it for your getaway!

The home was spacious, rooms were of great size and it was wonderful that the beds were made! The kitchen was well stocked, irving pots/pans, coffee maker, pyrx, all the neccesities of home and very clean! We enjoyed the hot tub, the horse shoe pits, the teenagers enjoyed the downstairs! Enjoyed the common area seating which allowed for great conversations without a t.v. '- though there was one in loft and downstairs it was nice to not have one on for a weekend! A memorable weekend and great celebration for our sons 18th! Zip lining and mountain biking at berkshire east was great too super close! Thanks The Lee's and Cardosi Crew

We were in Charlemont for a wedding. The property was for 11 adults. It was more than enough space. It was clean and well provisioned with all the necessaries. The area was quiet. Total recommend this property. Mike the owner could not have been more accommodating.

Highly recommend this beautiful getaway home - the pictures don't do it justice! The hosts were great to coordinate with and we had a nice, relaxing friend trip.

The location of the property was amazing. Close enough to everything we had planned but still secluded and quiet. The hosts were easy to contact and offered some great ideas for our group to do while we were staying there. All in all a great location and a great trip. We would book again.

My colleagues and I take an annual retreat to create plans for the upcoming year. The house is incredibly comfortable - spacious enough in the living room/dining/kitchen area for us to work together and the bedrooms, basement, loft, and outside space enabled each of us to find some solitude as well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals and the hot tub offered a relaxing end to the day. It was great!

We went for a moms weekend. We had easy quick access to the river. The house has EVERYTHING we could have ever needed. Plenty of space and ACs! Definitely will go back.

We were a family including a 3 month old needing a place to stay near Amherst to attend a graduation. Hard to find something big enough and then we found this home in Charlemont and although it was a distance to Amherst, it fit our needs perfectly and Michael was super responsive to our needs. Highly recommend a stay here.

We visited off season so there wasn't a ton to do in the area. That said, the house offered enough space and activities to keep us happy. It was a very nice place to be.
