It was very personable, Celine was so sweet and welcoming. It was possibly the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. Just homely, calm and beautiful.

Location was great very Emporda style, decoration was carefully picked by the owners It was very clean, the breakfast was delicious. Hosts were very friendly and they were always there with recommendations whenever we needed.

This small hotel is a beautiful building in a charming village. Parking is easy, and Celine and Arnaud are perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional, we can't recommend highly enough. The rooms are spacious and cool, and the atmosphere at Casa Migdia is calm and elegant.

Great, friendly hosts, they speak good Spanish, English and obviously French. Very good food, we loved the breakfast and the dinner, too (even the teenagers liked it who are well known to criticise everything 😏 ). Easy to find, quiet area. Lovely cats 😁

Constant ringing of the church bells. Doesn't bother during the day but pretty annoying at night. Of course the hosts cannot do anything about it, so it is just a remark. Mosquito nets would be good on the doors/windows at night though.

We loved all of it, the hospitality we felt from our hosts went above all expectations. The hotel is beautiful as were our rooms. Very quiet and charming village. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive and we will be recommending this hotel to everyone.

The breakfast was great and the location was very central, so it was easy to travel to places to explore the stunning region of Costa Brava. The hosts gave us lots of useful tips for places to visit.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Casa Migdia is an oasis of relaxation. We were immediately welcomed by Celine and taken to our lovely and spacious room, which featured views of the pool and a bathtub! You can tell a lot of thought has gone into each detail. I absolutely loved the decor. We had a cocktail while lounging by the pool and afterwards, enjoyed homemade pear cake. The owners lent us bikes and we explored the area for a bit. We also dined at the hotel, everything is cooked by them, with local and organic products. One of my favorite things in the world is breakfast, and theirs exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed fried eggs, french omelette, crepes, homemade bread, jam, orange juice. I absolutely recommend this hotel to any couple hoping to get away from the city for a few days!

the french couple running this hotel was really very nice indeed, their hotel very charming with in the garden a lovely terrace with swimming pool. the old building once was a rectory. all the rooms are different but in the same authentic and charming atmosphere. the beds sleep well. large bathroom. the dinner and specially the - included - breakfast was delicious and full of choice

Hosts were lovely and made every effort, even taking us to pick eggs with our 8 Yr old, unfortgettable! Rio the cat was also a great addition, there when we opened the door in the morning!

It was hot whilst we stayed and room had no aircon, the fan helped though.

We started our holiday at Casa Migdia, and it was a perfect start. The village is an oasis of calm and the accommodation is beautiful and homely. The room with the terrace was nice to have, so we could sunbathe at the end of the day and read a book in the hammock. Furthermore, the family who runs it was very nice and hospitable. Breakfast is delicious, served in the garden and in the evening it is very nice to have the possibility to eat at the accommodation. We recommend it to everyone!

I'd recommend having dinner here as it was excellent! They have a couple of different types of menu available, and all good value for money. The food was delicious, and breakfast the next morning was also very good. The house is full of character and the surrounding area is beautiful if you want to go for a walk in the countryside.

Casa Migdia is very special and beautifully and carefully decorated. Breakfast is super good, with fresh eggs from the owners hens, and you can dine there as well, amazing food all cooked by the owner/ chef. Owners are very friendly and nice, you can really tell everything is done with care and love, and that is what makes a difference.
