Wonderful stay- close enough to let kids walk to beach and back alone. Pool is a bit small, but sufficient. Overall lovely!

Loved this place for our family of ten. It was very spacious for all of us. So close to the beach. Beautifully decorated and rooms were all a nice size. Had a great week. Would rent again.

The townhouse is very nicely decorated and the kitchen was stocked with everything you might need! It was a very comfortable place to vacation. Fabiola was very responsive when we were experiencing problems with cooling the townhouse in the evening. Thanks for a nice vacation stay!

Our family found this beach home very comfortable and convenient to the beach and local eateries. Fabiola was a great communicator responding within the hour and accommodating our needs. This lovely home has a well-stocked kitchen with all the utensils and cookware needed. We brought our own coffeemakers though one was provided. Our only disappointment was that the pool was not open which would've really helped with my elderly mom and 4 year old grand-daughter. We would love to stay here again!!! Thx!

Overall, I give this property 5 stars. The beach block location is about as close as you can be without being ocean front. The kitchen was well stocked (sharp Wustof knives were a plus), except there wasn’t any dish soap or trash bags. When we weren’t on the beach we enjoyed the top deck on the comfortable high-top Adirondack chairs. We were happy to have the linens included with the beds made when we arrived. Checkin was a breeze. Sadly, the pool was closed and an unsightly green, but we were aware since the listing noted it opens after Memorial Day. However, the condos were the nicest in Surf City, with a bay view and mature palms rustling in the wind. Overall, It was a lovely stay and the easy access to the beach was awesome!!

Nice, clean, quiet. Perfect place to stay with my family of six for the week! Comfortable beds, beautiful beach. If we ever come back to Surf City we'd have no problems staying here again. Also, the restaurant right next store (Surf City Line) was excellent!

We enjoyed the property immensely!! Just a short walk to the beach across the street that has very little traffic!! The rooms were as shown on the listing and we had everything we needed for making meals throughout the week. Grocery stores were a short drive over the bridge and there is a smaller one right near the roundabout on the island. The Line restaurant, next to the property, is fabulous!!! It was easy to communicate with the property manager throughout the week with any questions that we had concerning the property and rules. The only issue we had during our week was that the dishwasher did not work; the property manager was working to try and get someone out to the property and gave me a couple tips to try. We just settled in and hand washed the dishes and enjoyed the beach. Wonderful deck off of the living room was used nightly for sunsets and just hanging out; we had 6 adult children with my wife and myself and everyone had a great time! Thank you for such a nice place and with luck we'll be back again soon!!

We really enjoyed our beach trip and this condo. Plenty of room for us, our kids, their friends and parents. Love the entry mudroom room from the outside - so convenient to have a space to keep the beach stuff and shoes. The location is great with just a few min walk to the beach and a short drive into town. Pool was closed for maintenance while we were there or it would have been perfect.

If you didn't read the details of the condo, be prepared to climb stairs. It is always that initial prep stage where you have all the luggage and groceries that is the worst part. After that, the stairs aren't an issue, unless you have bad knees, of course. There is absolutely NO pantry space for all the non perishable items you've brought along. There is the perfect place for a stand-alone one right next to the dishwasher. This would be a huge help because with all the adults in the house, we had lots of food for the week and we had food on the floor,counters, and island. Not helpful when you needed to prep dinner. A few extra hooks/shelves in bathrooms would be helpful. We really couldn't use the back porches as the owner is aware there weren't any chairs. We just hauled up the chairs from the basement floor to be able to enjoy. The owner isn't local so makes it difficult when things need to be replaced. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!!

This might be the nicest beach house my family has ever stayed at! Fabiola was very friendly and quick to answer my questions. The location is right next to beach access as well.

We had a great stay here. Everything went smoothly and it was almost spotless when we arrived. Loved the location in proximity to the beach. The only negatives were that there was no dishwashing detergent provided and the coffee maker was completely disgusting when we arrived/ hadn’t been cleaned properly.

The condo was amazing. Fully stocked Kitchen! Which was important because I cooked Thanksgiving dinner. Great location. Wish we could have stayed longer and that we don’t live so far away or we’d stay more often.

We had a wonderful time and the property was beautifully decorated. Our only minor complaint was the freshness of the linens. But overall very satisfied and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful townhouse in a nice community. Beautifully decorated. Quick and easy walk to the beach. Conveniently located to restaurants and shops. I want to rate this property higher, but we did have issues and inconveniences while on our stay. The dryer was broken during our stay which was our biggest inconvenience. Having three young children, it’s nice to have a washer and a dryer and not have to take so much home at the end of the week to wash. As well as the convenience of washing and drying our wet beach towels and swimsuits each day. The dryer was unfortunately unable to be fixed while we were there, so we had to layout things around the house to dry out when we washed clothes. Upon arrival, our provided wash cloths and towels smelled of smoke and didn’t smell clean. It was disappointing given that we didn’t have a dryer to dry all the linens after washing them ourselves, as well as covid concerns.....we wanted to feel as though things were over the top clean upon our arrival. The upper floor stays significantly warmer than the bottom two floors. Thankfully there was a stand up fan provided, so that helped. We had a few other small quirks (maintenance related) while on our stay as well. Fabiola was very quick to get back to me when I reached out to her. Some tuneups and small fix’s to the property and this would make a great stay for any family.

There were pros and cons. I will begin with the cons. First, understanding that we are amid a pandemic, we accepted the closure of the pool. This being said, when we booked, there was no pandemic and the pool was a part of why we booked. We have been offered no partial refund. Second, the dryer did not work the entire week we were there which led to some stress. It appears the cleaning person did not inform the owner of the issue. Again, we booked expecting certain amenities. And again, we have been offered no refund to rectify this. We had to drive home with wet towels and suits since they could not dry in time for departure. Third, it should have been cleaner. There was hair in the tubs and the floors were filthy. I think the owner will be addressing this so that is a plus for future renters. Which brings me to the positives. The owner was a prompt communicator. The location was great. The place was beautifully decorated. Had it not been for the aforementioned issues, I would give it a 5 star rating. Had we been offered some kind of refund for the lack of amenities, I would have given it 5 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay at Copa Cabana. It was a perfect size for our 2 families (4 adults & 4 teenagers). We loved how close it was to the beach, it was rediscovering Topsail Island. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time at the Copa Cabana! The house was a great fit for us. It had everything you need for fun inside and out. The pool was fun to jump into after wonderful times at the super close beach. My wife loved the Pelican’s Snoballs in town and is craving another back in Ohio. Thanks for a terrific vacation!

Fit our needs perfectly 7 Adults and 2 Teens. Very clean and well stocked. Neighbors were friendly and pool was decent for property. The only thing is we did need to use the fans in the bedrooms to sleep and the main floor stays warm. Thermostat is fixed to 72, so it isnt very cool especially on upper level. Other than that would stay again and recommend to family & friends. Thanks for having us

We rented this home twice in a two week period in October of 2018. We needed a place to stay to help out a friend after hurricane damage at her house. This home was perfect for our needs and was so clean and beautiful - and that was a bonus! The community pool was right there, if the weather was warmer we would have really enjoyed it. Fabiola was wonderful and so easy to work with. We had a little problem getting into the home on our first stay but she was completely available to help us and was able to get us in quickly! We highly recommend!
