This property was perfect for our family vacation! The location was perfect, as the beach is just a short walk or golf cart ride away. The kids loved playing on the beach and the tidal pools in the am when the starfish and crabs were plentiful. The house was roomy, clean, and beautifully decorated, and had lots of extras like bikes, the pool and poolside bar that everyone enjoyed. Lots of memories were made and we plan to return in the near future to this special spot!!!

This was a great house but there was no accommodations for an infant. My family and I had a lovely time and we were overall satisfied.

Perfect location across from the beach with great ocean views. One block in the other direction and you are at the intercoastal waterway for fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding (all available at the house). New house with many decks and pool with bar area. I highly recommend Big Blue!

The beach home was decorated beautifully and had plenty of room. Location was perfect. It was really nice having bicycles and chairs that we could use. Everyone enjoyed the pool!

This was our first time to Ocean Isle and our stay at Big Blue couldn't have been better! Beautifully decorated, it was perfect for our large family of children and grandkids. We enjoyed a great ocean view and hanging out on the expansive porches. The bikes were a big bonus...rides to the pier and to get ice cream were a big hit...we look forward to visiting again next year!

Everything was so easy from booking to paying ,location , beautiful house, and the kids and adults enjoyed the pool. Overall awesome !!

From the first moment we stepped into this house it provided us everything we needed and more. Plenty of room , beautifully decorated, close to the beach and far enough away from main bridge that it gave us a tranquil laidback feel. We absolutely loved making memories here and We would recommend this home to all families.

We had a great trip to OIB and loved every minute of our stay at Big Blue. The house, the pool, the location - all perfect! There was plenty of room for 4 couples and 2 small children. We enjoyed gathering in the spacious kitchen/dining room for family dinners with local seafood from Captain Jacks. It was nice having a grill, beach chairs and boogie boards in the garage. Also - the elevator made unpacking/packing and our grocery haul so quick and easy. We rented a golf cart which was fun to ride around the isle and visit our favorite Sunset Slush, however the house is so close to the beach we really didn’t need it for beach hauls. We hope to visit again in years to come!

We had a wonderful time at Big Blue! The location was absolutely amazing...it was our first time visiting Ocean Isle Beach and we will definitely be back to see it AND Big Blue!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Big Blue! We appreciated the many amenities and the bikes were a great extra! The house was a very short walk to the beach, had a really nice pool / outside bar area, TVs in all the rooms, and bed & bath linens included. The only negative were the skillets which were pretty worn. We would definitely stay at Big Blue again!

Big Blue did not disappoint. The house is very nicely furnished and everything looks new. We really enjoyed the pool and it is just a short walk to the beach. We would definitely rent this home again.

Linens were stained and no hand towels. Pool could have been cleaned more then once. Overall very nice property

Our family had such a great week in Big Blue. The house is gorgeous and well equipped. A bit too cold for the pool but we enjoyed the tiki bar instead. Can’t wait to go back!

Renter beware. We rented this property and were excited for our stay. The house was nice and pretty clean other than the kitchen cabinets being extremely disheveled and lacking organization, but nothing major. We made no mess and cleaned the counters and did everything we were supposed to do on checkout (even more because we vacuumed for them). BUT! Then, the owners and property manager decided we were not getting our deposit back. The claim was a broken chair near the pool, which we had not broke (pictures from our arrival that showed it was already broken). I messaged the property manager a couple of times and spoke on the phone with her. In her response she said, and I quote “There was things not put back in there place and the owner was in after your stay and is very upset with how things were”. Of note, what they claimed was out of place were the dishes in the cabinets and 2 hangers under a bathroom sink. All of which were like that when we arrived. Regardless, that wouldn’t be any reason to withhold someone’s damage deposit considering it’s not damage. When I responded back to ask her about this and to explain we also had a picture to show the pool chair was broken when we got there she decided to stop responding and even blocked my number so my calls wouldn’t go through to her. I brought the situation to VRBO and they reached out to both the property manager and owners over the course of a month so they could respond. They didn’t. In the end VRBO escalated the case to their travel care department and eventually to their transfer and security department. They reviewed the case and VRBO ended up refunding us the deposit. The whole thing took over 3 months of calling VRBO and about 25 cumulative hours on the phone with them. The experience was awful and could have been remedied if the manager and owners would have had any sort of decency or respect for their guests. Instead they chose the path of just ignoring us even though we had photo proof that they were lying about us damaging a chair and withholding our deposit. I write this not to whine about things, but to make sure everyone who books this house is aware of who they are booking with. If you decide to book please take pictures and cover yourself in the event they try to do the same thing to you.

We had a fantastic time at Big Blue. The decor was relaxing and classy. Perfect for our family and friends. The kids loved the bunk room. House was extremely clean and everything was there that you needed. Ocean view. No one behind you so you had great view of beach. Quick walk to Intercoastal park area. Pool was awesome and the outdoor bar area with perfect for afternoon drinks. Would highly recommend

This is such a beautiful beach home with lovely decor, gorgeous views, extremely comfy beds and furniture, and with a well equipped kitchen! We would absolutely come again!

The property and location were excellent. Loved the overall layout of the house. Lots of room to spread out. Pool area was great and access to the beach was a very short walk. Kitchen was well stocked. Christa with rental company was great. We have a wonderful vacation.

The house was beautiful & had plenty of space for our 2 families. The location was wonderful. Close to the beach, quiet, great area for walking or biking. The pool was terrific to have to come home to after the beach. Beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our vacation!

House was as depicted in pictures. Beautiful, extra amenities to make your stay fun such as Bluetooth speakers, bikes, kayaks.... Honestly, the house was so nice, and views of ocean, inlet, and sound so beautiful, we stayed at the beach and pool all week.

We really enjoyed our stay at "Big Blue". The house was very clean and well decorated. I heard nothing but good things from our guests staying with us as well. Ocean Isle was a great island as well with plenty of options for dining and entertainment. We would happily stay here again in the future!

The house is beautiful and extremely well laid out. The decor is serene and lovely. A short walk to the beach and ocean views from every window. Excellent choice if you want to enjoy Ocean Isle.

Your house was lovely! All of your extras were so nice and it was very warm :). It was our first time to Ocean Isle and Unfortunately our last. We usually go to BHI or Sea Island and wanted to try something different. Prices are definitely better but places to eat were crazy packed and there were 2 hour waits for take out. For people who love Ocean Isle your house is simply wonderful and you have done a fabulous job making it feel like home! My kids loved the games downstairs :).

We spent Easter weekend at this home with our children. The house is beautiful and the floorplan is amazing. Minutes from the beach as well...a quick walk for sure! The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Not to mention the decorating was so well done. It was just a delight and we all found the home to be perfect. Definitely will be our go to home when we visit Ocean Isle!
