Charming 1910 House on Main Street - Beautiful Landscaped Yard
Cette charmante maison de 1910 se trouve sur la rue principale de la vieille ville de Lafayette. Il se trouve en face des restaurants, un café et à quelques pâtés de maisons d'un centre de récréation et du Festival Plaza. La cour arrière magnifiquement ajourée est parfaite pour les petits événements. Nous disposons d'une salle de bain, d'une douche et d'une chambre à coucher principale, entièrement accessible en fauteuil roulant.
Une fois par semaine, il y a un marché des agriculteurs à quelques pâtés de maisons de la rue dans le parking de la fleuriste Lafayette. Profitez du parc et promenez-vous dans le lac Waneka, où les bateaux à rames sont disponibles à la location entre le mémorial et la fête du travail. Les enfants peuvent profiter de traverser la fontaine d'eau à quelques pâtés de maisons de Festival Plaza et déguster de la glace chez Eats and Sweets. Le WOW! Was a really nice house - looks just like the photos. There's also a great little gravel sitting area outside as well. Right in the middle of downtown - was walking distance to the shops/restaurants. Owner was welcoming and very helpful. Really enjoyed our time there.

I don't even know if I want to share my review. I may have competition trying to reserve next year. This house is a complete hidden treasure. This house is absolutely gorgeous, very quaint and comfortable. My family of 8 stayed for a week. We had plenty of room. The common areas are very roomy, the bedrooms are on the smaller end with double beds. We found it perfect to lay our heads at night since there was so much to do in walking distance. Very comfortable beds and full stocked home. Not the check the block stocked....but great non-stick pans and sharp knives which is always one of my complaints. As a family that travels at least once a month, this may be the best stay in 10 years. We will definitely book again.

What a wonderful and charming home. Upon arrival we were greeted with a charming home in a very charming walking neighborhood. We we’re grateful for the bowl of fresh fruit and chocolate that greeted us after our travel. The town of Lafayette was the real draw. Walks to morning coffee at the cafe, incredible restaurants, cute boutiques and shops. The town is quiet and charming.
The house was clean and comfortable. The only thing was the beds are all small. My husband and I had to split up because it was hard to sleep in a double bed after years of sleeping in a king size bed.
But I’d stay there again because of the town and the owners were extremely kind and accommodating. They let us check in early and that was the best!
I’d 100% recommend staying here!!

Home was well furnished and sited in downtown area with art fest nearby on the first night that owner notified us of that we had a good time at. Plenty of restaurants available nearby.

I am so grateful for our five days in Lafayette. My husband and our teenager were on cloud nine for our entire stay.
These accommodations are generous, beautiful, super clean, well-organized and above all else, incredibly thoughtful. From the gorgeous outdoor seating, gobsmackingly adorable old town location, and the beautiful and very comfortable bedrooms to all the little touches like face wipes, a GUITAR, lots of snuggle blankets, ice packs. This host took my expectations and sent them to the moon.

Excellent stay. Home in perfect condition. Highly recommend. Close to small downtown. Accommodations for kids and infant. Only recommend online listing notes twin beds in one bedroom and all rooms are double. Sorry to leave

We had a great time in the house. It was comfortable with attention to all the little details that made for a great experience. We could easily walk to local shops and short drives to hiking (Chautauqua Park), breweries, and downtown Boulder. Would definitely use this house again.

This was an amazing and cozy home just steps away from downtown Lafayette. My family got in a day late and Susan reimbursed us for the lost day without us having to ask. What a great host!!!

My friend and I stayed for a week, and truly enjoyed how beautiful the home was. It felt like a sanctuary. We appreciated how the hosts attended to small details, kept the sidewalks cleared of snow, and offered suggestions for what to see and do. The neighborhood was wonderful, with a wide variety of restaurants and spectacular open space areas within a very short walking distance. Thank you!

What a great find! A lovely house located right on the main street of Lafayette with a sweet neighborhood for walks and exploring all around. Great restaurants up and down the street. The hosts were communicative and very sweet. We enjoyed a three night stay over Thanksgiving and enjoyed every moment. If you are thinking about visiting the area, don't hesitate on this rental. Book it!

We loved our stay at the house inn. It was gorgeous inside and very comfortable for our family of five. Everything we needed was provided and the location was perfect, with easy access to local restaurants and shops. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Definitely recommend.

Perfect
Our family had a wonderful stay at Susan’s place! The home was very clean, organized and tastefully done. The location is right on the main road which is convenient, but also brings with it some traffic noise. Thankfully, it’s a pretty quiet little town and traffic slows down after 8:00pm.
Susan was an excellent host. She was welcoming and communicated thoroughly. We will definitely look to stay at her place again in the future!

Perfect for small groups! Lots of art, shopping and dining available
We loved staying at this property, perfect for a small family or group. Its location can't be beaten. There is a coffee shop and restaurant across the street and an easy drive to Boulder, Denver or any number of other small communities. The hosts stock plenty of towels as well as pots/pans/dishes, etc. The front porch is great for relaxing and the back yard is spacious. We didn't want to leave. We would stay again.

Perfect Stay
We traveled to CO for a CU graduation. In our 4 years at CU, we had not yet been to Lafayette, so this was the perfect opportunity. The house Is lovely in every way - decor, layout, personal touches, thoughtful details. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels. Bathroom toiletries. Comfy bedding and extra blankets. Awesome backyard and front porch with plenty of seating options. Closet full of board games. Can’t say enough about this house! Great location. Walkable to shops and restaurants. The only disclosure is some street noise if you have the bedroom facing that direction. Did not bother us but could see how it might bother some. If we have occasion to return, would’ve most definitely stay again!

Amazing Stay!
We came to Colorado for my daughter’s softball tournament, but for also a mini vacation. Susan communicated so well with us and made sure we had everything we needed. The space is perfect for a family and very clean. There are so many extras in this house. We had everything we needed for our trip. The Lafayette square was great to walk around. We walked over to our favorite coffee place every morning, enjoyed brunch at Tangerine and dessert from Eats and Sweets almost daily. It’s only a 20 minute trip to Pearl St. in Boulder, which became our favorite hangout area. This home will definitely stay on our list of “places to return to.” We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Colorado.

Perfect vacation house
My family and I spent five nights at the House Inn and we had a wonderful time. The location is perfect since we have family who live a few blocks away. The house is right on the corner across the street from shops and excellent restaurants. It is also a quick drive to Boulder. The owners have thought of everything to make you stay very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all applicances that would be needed and there is plenty of room to relax. The front porch is perfect and the backyard has lots of seating available. Now that we have family that live in the area, this house will be where we will stay every time. Thank you Susan and Pete.

Clean, comfortable home in the heart of Old Town
My family and I have had the opportunity to stay at the House Inn twice now, once for a long weekend with extended family, and most recently for a month as we waited to move into a longterm rental. We cannot say enough good things about the house, or about the owners Susan and Pete. They are truly the kindest homeowners we've worked with in all of our various Airbnb/VRBO stays, and we've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years. Their communication is always fast and so pleasant. The house itself is clean and super cozy, with a beautiful updated kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We have two young children (3 and 6) and found the House Inn to have plenty of space for all of us. On nice days, we would play in the great yard (though I hesitate to call it that, it's more like a rock garden/patio) which our children loved. As we stayed here in the winter, we weren't able to take advantage of the many areas to entertain outside, but they look great! The house is in the best location if you're looking to explore Lafayette, and is very convenient to Boulder and Denver and beyond! If we ever have family or friends coming into town, we will definitely recommend a stay at the House Inn. The only other thing, which may be helpful for others traveling with children or who are sensitive, is the noise from the street outside can be pretty loud, especially on weekends. The house is right on the main street in downtown Lafayette, across from a cafe and a restaurant. The noise didn't deter us from coming back and staying for a month, though! Susan and Pete have also placed noise machines in all of the bedrooms. I really cannot say enough good things about the House Inn!

Thanksgiving Treat
We felt totally at home in this quaint and beautiful house. Thank you to the owners, Susan and Pete, on having maintaining such a high level of hospitality and providing a fabulous home base for families like ours getting together for the holidays! We had a lot of snow and the sidewalks and driveways were maintained so well during our stay! The house is centrally located in Old Town Lafayette, close to restaurants and small boutique shops. This stay was such a find for us, we must come back in the summer! Thanks again!

Was lovely. Only wished the windows upstairs opened. Double bed was kind of small, but this is due to very small rooms. Location is really good right across street from coffee shop. All in all a great place to stay in cute town of Lafayette.

Charming, welcoming, and a great stay!
This was a perfect fit for our family. We were in the area for a wedding and stayed for a long weekend over the Labor Day holiday. We had to address the needs of small children (2 and 7 years) as well as elderly adults with mobility issues. This house was able to do all that and more.
With the wonderful outdoor space, we were able to hold dinners for the family with plenty of room for all. We used the grill to cook out one night and ordered pizza another night. Out host had plenty of restaurant recommendations to help us find the perfect place. We sat under the covered porch chatting into the night so the kids could sleep soundly in the house. The house became an unofficial home base for the whole family.
The rooms were small but all we needed for sleeping since we congregated outside and spent most days out and about. We were close to stores and restaurants. In fact, when my brother-in-law came over with some beer, and I wanted a lime we just walked a short block to the market up the street.
The ADA bathroom was a lifesaver. My father-in-law cannot move nor stand on his own, and the shower on the ground floor made things much easier than I anticipated. We also found it useful for bathing the children together. The kids loved the bedroom with the trundle bed. For an older house with little closet space, there is still so much storage. Susan utilizes the space so well, we really had no problems finding a place for all our clothes (hanging and folded) as well as empty suitcases. The washer and dryer were invaluable with two kids playing in the rocks.
The house was charming and well decorated. The interesting details were the talk of the night, from the beautifully landscaped yard to the doors surrounding the covered patio and even the little window in the second floor bathroom.
I cannot say enough about how helpful our hostess was during our stay. Her recommendations were perfect. She was easy to contact and gracious about letting us check in a little later due to a late flight. She even stocked my favorite lotion!!!

Comfortable home in a great neighborhood!
We enjoyed our stay at the House Inn. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is charming and we took advantage of the nearby restaurants, coffee house, and chocolate shop.
The upstairs bedrooms are a bit small but what you might expect with a charming vintage home.
