Location, friendly people and great breakfast

Room was very nice, beds very comfortable. Easy access to the room, no fuss. I will gladly stay again.

The breakfast was excellent - really first rate. We liked the little village location and it was quite close to the Autobahn for easy on and off when travelling. The proprietor was friendly and helpful.

There was a very strong smell of either cleaning products or laundry detergent that was for us somewhat overwhelming and not pleasant. That was really the only issue we had.

Restaurant next to the guesthouse was unfortunately closed already after 8 p.m.. so better if you arrive not hungry

Very clean room and bathroom, good wifi. Stayed for the night, everything was perfect. Arrived late (~22.30), room key was left at the safe box so entering the room was smooth, did not require any waiting longer.

Room large enough, very clean, modern and spotless ensuite, plenty of storage space, excellent breakfast (cereals, juices, tea, coffee, cold cuts, salad, fruit, bnread, pastries etc..), staff helpful and friendly. Good communication (in German) with the B&B about where to find the key (in the keysafe). Several parking spaces available right outside the room or in adjacent parking area. Adjacent restaurant with varied menu and reasonable prices. Easy reach of A4 motorway.

A minor quibble: English wasn't spoken on the day I was there or in the messages, but I was able to get by with my basic German.

Very simple check-in procedure. Excellent value accommodation for a short cycling weekend on the Rennsteig route.. The food in hotel was nice and great value. Not much atmosphere in the bar/restaurant considering it was Saturday night in July.

No information on parking. Residents left a ride message on the car for just parking in a space outside the apartment.

easy self check in, rooms are very clean and tidy, friendly staff, quiet neighborhood, a bonus given to the a small kitchen with microwave, coffee machine and kitchenware etc.

the bed mattress is a bit hard for me to sleep, the bell from the clock tower kept ringing whole night long in every hour

Easy check in. Lovely big room with a balcony above the double bed which housed 3 single beds for families travelling with kids. Bathroom was small but sufficient. Breakfast was super healthy and because I couldn't eat a lot I was allowed to take my second bread roll as walking lunch. The lady even gave me a bag to put it in. No problems whatsoever.

Convenient location next to a highway, ample, free parking space, modern and comfortable room. Good system of key pickup allowing for 24h check-in.

I was served gluten free breakfast on my request- the very nice one😀. Thank you! clean and nice room, helpful and nice staff. And really good local beer in the restaurant on the side. Good place to stay !

I just stayed there for a quick night while travelling to another area so I could not enjoy as much as it seemed to offer. Very nice room and quite area. Recommended!

Amazing hotel, the room was very clean and comfortable! The staff was very friendly! Highly recommend!

Problem with comunication in English language

Convenient location near Werra river, fine room and comfortable beds, restaurant nearby, great breakfast, very friendly staff.

Property is good, located in a nice small village, under the bridge of the highway (but you can’t hear noice). Appartementsgebouw were good, beds of good quality, small kitchen and fridge available, good warm showers, clean.

Breakfast is extra pay, not very extensive, hosted in a small room, crowded = could be better. We also had dinner in the nearby resto on the same premise but where met some grumpy owner on a bad day :-(. Good food, good wine, good beer - grumpy grandma.

Ligging en perfect adres

The beginning of the Rennsteig! Check-in involves using a code to open a safe and taking out your labeled key, which worked well, but was a bit confusing (and the key box is a bit hidden in the back of the courtyard -- go into the courtyard, not the restaurant!). Breakfast was an extra charge but was fantastic. Easy to get to from the train, but they do have parking, including enclosed bicycle parking. The be was comfortable.

Our room (5) was right next to the church whose bells rang through the night and also right next to the outdoor dining area of the restaurant -- during winter this may be fine, but with windows open, we heard people talking late into the night.

...which is right at the start of the Rennsteig, which is excellent if you - like me - have a bit of a journey to get there and don't want to get stressed with the first part of the tour. The room was also quite comfortable and modern as well as very clean.

The walls were quite thin, so one could hear other guests arrive and leave. The price is a bit high, but that may have to do with the location...
