Beautiful Log Home (NINJA - 7086056)
Nouvelle maison en bois dans un cadre magnifique avec un ruisseau qui traverse la propriété. Juste en face de l'hôtel Courtyard by Marriott Hôtel avec l'entrée directement à partir de la route principale, mais encore assez loin pour ne pas entendre le trafic.
Ce spacieux 4 chambres plus une mezzanine et 2 salles de bain maison peut accueillir confortablement 10-12 personnes. Il a un loft spacieux à l'étage avec un canapé-lit double et 4 chambres joliment décorées (étage principal: Chambre 1 avec un lit king size, Chambre 2 avec un lit queen, salle de bain complète, 2e étage: Chambre 3 avec un lit superposé (twin -plus-twin) et un lit double, Chambre 4 avec un lit superposé (double-sur-double), salle de bain complète. En résumé, les 4 chambres peuvent accueillir confortablement 11 personnes et le canapé gigogne supplémentaire peuvent accueillir 1 plus invité.

Overall our stay was great, the bedrooms were a good size and the location is very close to both Main St and also Whiteface Mountain. There is not a huge amount of shared living space compared to the number of people that the house sleeps. There is a huge unfinished basement if they do some work to heat that and add some ping pong/pool tables it would give the house more space.
Kitchen was well equipped, parking is ample overall a great house we would stay again!

Everything about this property was near perfect for our Thanksgiving training camp. The location was great - close to downtown but only 10 minutes from skiing. We rented both homes so we had plenty of room and enjoyed being able to visit the other house without driving. The homes were very clean and had everything we needed for our 5 day visit including laundry! The beds were numerous and very comfortable. We enjoy cooking after skiing and the kitchens were well equipped. We definitely hope to stay here again when our travels take us to Lake Placid!

Overall very pleased. Only one issue. People walk down the road in front of the cabin. Is this a private driveway or a right of way?

Great location nice place
Located just away from the busy part of town but close to everything. Walked to many places but we like to walk. Great food Nearby. Place was clean and well stocked would stay again!

Everything was great and communicating with owner was simple.
Another bunk bed or sleeping options in huge basement woulda made it perfect, but no complaints and certainly recommend to anyone looking for a Placid getaway!

Absolutely awesome!!!
The home is clean, comfortable, and absolutely accommodating! We loved every minute of our stay and hope to come back next year. The town is beautiful and definitely a wonderful vacation.

Log Cabin
The log cabin is very spacious but cozy. It felt warm and inviting when you walked in the door. It is conveniently located among all the popular venues and Main St. It is off the road and therefore you dont hear much of the traffic. The owner is very accommodating and quick to answer questions and deal with any concerns we had. There were only 5 of us but could accommodate 10. Overall it was a great place to stay. Many thanks!

Great home base for my mom’s 60th birthday
We stayed at lake placid to hike nearby Mount Marcy for my mom’s 60th. The house was great - and communication with the hosts was seamless. The management of garbage is the only note I’d say needs improvement - the containers aren’t closed and were affected by wildlife which caused quite a bit of litter surrounding the area.

Home base for ADK hiking
Great home base for our ADK hiking trip. The large family room was great for gathering at the end of the night. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Only negative were the fruit flies upon arrival, caused by a rotten banana left on the top of the cabinets, not found by house cleaning. House is tucked away from the main road, nice and quiet. You can walk into town on a nice day.

Great escape
The house was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable beds, plenty of room and you really hear nothing when you are inside which was awesome. Had everything we needed! Great host as well…very responsive and helpful leading up to our stay. And since everything was as expected, no need for any mid-week assistance.

family re-union
Seven of us stayed in this log cabin for a family reunion. It was spacious and comfortable. The house had plenty of space for us to host two family dinners, including 10 more family members. We were also there to support our brother in law who completed his 4th Iron Man. The location was perfect. We were right along the route, but set back.

Great place for all ages
This was a great place for our family of grand parents, adult children and grandchildren to stay! The large kitchen/dining and living space gave us so much room to be together. The only down side is the outdoor space (driveway and tall grass) which was not useful. The porch is large and we used that a bit.

A Happy Retreat!
Our stay at Sam's place was just what we needed. The place was immaculate. We had to ask Sam a question on our first day, and he immediately got back to us. We felt safe and secure. Highly recommend!

Peaceful getaway in the heart of Lake Placid
We had a wonderful time staying here. The home was spacious and close to Lake Placid, but felt secluded from the main road. We loved the wrap around porch overlooking the stream.

Very nice house
Nice, big house. Great for a family. The driveway is a bit tough to navigate especially with snow, which we were very thankful for! Very close to town, about 3-5 min and easy drive to Whiteface, about 20 min.

Accommodating house ,not clean
The house was accommodating for a family of 10. Rooms and bathrooms were a good size. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and non- parishables. All appliances worked perfect and it was in a great location!! The house was not clean. The fans,lights and blinds had months/years of built up dust on them. The bathroom’s vents were rusted from urine and the groat around the bathtub was dirty. The island was sticky and needed to be scrubbed before preparing food. We had to go to the store and purchase Benadryl because we were all allergic to the dust in the home.

Very nice house
We spent few days in the house before and after New year. Very nice location. Close to the White Face mountain and to the city. In the house you have everything you need. It is clean and warm. We had a very good time there.

Christmas in Lake Placid
The log cabin was spacious and comfortable. While there was no fireplace, our stay there had a very cozy feeling. It was a good thing that the kitchen was well stocked and well laid-out, because, due to Covid, we cooked all of our meals in the house. My only complaint is that the owner did not provide us with snow and weather good for skiing (it was 56 degrees on Christmas).

Wonderful
Such a cute and cozy cabin, and in an awesome location! Super close to town, many beautiful hikes, and the Olympic Ski Jump Complex. It was perfect for our family. Sam was great work with and quick to respond.

Ninja Log Cabin
The description of the cabin is accurate. I would say they could use a little more upkeep on the outside as the yard wasn’t trimmed up and everything had overgrown over the creek. The cabin was nice & clean and provided everything you would need for a getaway. We really enjoyed our time in the cabin with our family & friends.
Sam was great at communicating all details for check in and answered in a timely manner. Overall we would love to visit Ninja again.

Excellent owner & great location
The home owner was fantastic in making sure our stay was comfortable. We had a dishwasher leak overnight and he quickly arranged for a replacement within hours (despite traveling himself overseas). The property was immaculate and we felt completely comfortable staying there despite the COVID epidemic going on. The location was excellent. Tucked into the woods and quiet (except for the babbling creek at the back of the property, that was soothing). Very close to town but we felt like we were in the middle of the woods - the best of both!

Cute Little Cabin
This was a cute little cabin close to Lake Placid. I mistakenly thought it was closer to the main strip in Lake Placid that we could walk to, but it was little further out. The accommodations were fine and the house was well stocked with the basic staples. I do wish the creek was a little easier to access. And the shower in the bathroom had very low pressure or counter space to lay out our toiletries. But the house was very reasonably priced and a nice little getaway. The communication with the owner was beyond wonderful. Sam always answered promptly and was very helpful and accommodating.

Everyone one enjoyed their stay enough room for a family of 7.! A mix up with the cleaning service but Sam took care of it immediately and it was solved.

Skating weekend
I rented this house for the weekend, since my daughter competing in Figure skating in the Empire State Winter Games.
The house is beautiful and plenty of room for 6 adult and 3 kids.
Little mix up on checking in, but Sam quickly resolved the issue, and the rest of the weekend was prefect.
Sam was easy to talk to, and checked in with me a couple time to make sure all was good.
Over all a pleasant weekend for my family.

Great vacation for family of 5 with kids 16-20 yrs old
Property was just as described. House was stocked with all we needed. Only a few minutes out of town and walking distance to corner store and Starbucks in the Marriott courtyard.

Cozy cabin!
This house was great overall. Well stocked and not too far from downtown. Restaurants and stores close by. Only minor feedback was:
No cable so my kids were a little tired of watching sports or the news (couldn’t get DVD player to work but that was probably me)
And location a tiny bit deceiving based on pics. This is not a private cabin in the woods, it’s wedged in the middle of several houses off a very main road. That didn’t bother us too much since we just really needed a place to sleep at night. Overall easy and great communication with the owner!

The log home met and exceeded all of our expectations! It was roomy and comfortable enough for all
Our experience in the log home was exceptional. The temperature controls in each room made all of us “temperature intolerant” people very happy!
The weather did not cooperate. Our sleigh ride didn’t happen, and it rained A LOT! Luckily, the log home could accommodate a group of 8 adults playing games around the large table.

Location, location, location!
Ninja cabin is located in the perfect spot for a fun-filled vacation in Lake Placid. It is so close to EVERYTHING you will want to do; but, it is tucked away and still provides a cozy cabin experience. Sam (the owner) is so helpful and responds quickly to all emails.

Good location, comfortable, spacious home
We enjoyed our stay at the house. This is an excellent location if you need to be close to the horse grounds, easy access to 73 and 86 and trailheads towards Keene. Well equipped kitchen, nice deck, washer and dryer were key. Ample parking for our crew, which included 4 vehicles!
Keep in mind there is no central air or AC units, so the only drawback was a warm first night for the upstairs.
