Had a wonderful stay at the owls hoot, a great couple of nights away with my girlfriend especially with having the hot tub and sauna to enjoy, there are other houses around you but it feels totally private as the garden isn't overlooked by the neighbours. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again especially as it's fairly local to me. Amazing little get away.

Hot tub and sauna made it extra special and very relaxing! Hosts went above to make our stay extra special. They arranged a masseuse come to the property which meant we enjoyed more relaxation in our home comfort. We loved that it wad dog friendly with dog friendly pubs/restaurants locally.

Unfortunately we could not have the private chef that was arranged but that was nothing out of anyone's control. Communication with this was brilliant and returned our deposit the same day. There wasn't anything we didn't like!

The sauna and hot tub were amazing and the treats left for us were a lovely touch! Overall the cottage was super spacious, comfortable and looked even nicer than the photos. We also had a massage whilst there which was a real highlight :)

Owls Hoot was perfect for us. A little quiet space with your own private jacuzzi and sauna, couldn’t be more relaxing! The property was clean and John and Katie were great, they were very informative with what’s around and the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely little touch too. We had a lovely time and couldn’t recommend Owls Hoot and John and Katie enough! Definitely will return in the future. A great break away! Thank you!

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, even better in real life than the pics. We stayed for 4 days as a belated 30th getaway for my boyfriend and we had a fab time and didn't want to leave! Communication with John and Kate before and during our stay was excellent. Extra touches like milk, tea and coffee were left for us and even a bottle of prosecco! They also put up a happy birthday banner for our stay which was a lovely touch. We used the bicycles one day and went out for a couple of hours which was such a good way to explore the local area. I'd recommend Thornham Walks if you fancy a stroll and The Four Horseshoes Inn for food at a cosy country pub just up the road, the food and service was excellent even in the current pandemic. Overall we had a fab time and didn't want to leave. The hot tub really is amazing we sat in it for hours every evening and now it's got a clear cover above the pergola it means you don't have to leave even if it starts raining!
