Enjoyed our stay. The deck is the perfect place to lounge and even in the 90s had a beautiful breeze that made it wonderful to people & boat watch. The cleaners did a great job prior to our arrival. Thought the house was bigger in person than the pictures showed. Mike (host) was great. There was plenty of water toys to use at the house, we brought our own, but it was not completely necessary if traveling with a packed car. Great place to bring the grandparents!

Great views of the lake!
The home is lake front and has wonderful lake views! The house needs major TLC, ASAP! Fresh bed sheets and new towels are my suggestion as an inexpensive start. We felt as if you went to a flea market and found things to piece together and continue to do so as things break or tear. By charging premium prices, you are attracting guests that expect a little higher quality. If you are good with "glamping" this is the place for you!! It is cute and has potential! I think the landlord is fresh at this and just needs to invest more in the property.

Beautiful view of Lake Keowee
This lake house needs some TLC. The furniture in the upstairs living room was not adequate. Roaches were crawling everywhere. The kitchen lacked pots and pans to cook dinner for 5. We went out and bought one at the Dollar Store. The linens were not enough and scratchy.

Cute place but lacking updates
We had a good visit but can’t say I would totally recommend. I did appreciate we could roll our boat right up to dock. The Bad News: We were without refrigerator first day, one roll of paper towels, one trash bag, no hair dryer, no coffee filters and huge roach issue. Granite they just had new floors installed and I’m sure that brought about the pest control issue but the staples of a rental property is imperative and must be included in cost of rental. I expressed all of this information to owner.

Awesome location and views!
My parents, husband, two teen boys and I all stayed here 5 nights and had a great time. I loved that the lower-level was a place the boys could go and hang out so we weren't all near each other all the time. The deck was really spacious and we had fun playing card games in the evening, looking out over the water. Would recommend and would stay here again!

Truly relaxing vacation experience!
We enjoyed vacationing on this relaxing property with beautiful views overlooking a gorgeous lake. Loved just reading a book on the large deck with the breeze coming off of the water, plus the dock with designated boat slip just steps away was so convenient for family fun on the lake! We will be back!

The location and view was great and we very close to our boat slip. The unit could use a little updating and we had a short battle with ants but the unit was clean and had everything we needed.

Beautiful cabin on beautiful lake!
One of the most beautiful lakes I have ever had the pleasure of visiting and I’m from Minnesota, Land of 10,000 lakes! Cabin was excellent! The beds are super comfortable, even more so than my new bed at home. Just keep in mind that nothing is child proof. I had my 15 month old with. Had to block some things off but we were able to make it work. There was no tp or condiments there when we arrived. I found this to be odd but wasn’t a big deal. I made a point to leave some things for the next people; to, condiments, fishing tackle etc... Overall, I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended this place to a friend who plans to visit soon.

Beautiful house and views
The house was nice and in a very picturesque location. We found it well appointed and very comfortable—especially the master bed. Gorgeous lake views. A few things needed attention but nothing unusual and the owner gave us a credit for the inconvenience. We would happily return.

This property was a great find. The views of the lake are incredible. The owner was great to work with. The beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again, it was mid lake which was nice and convenient as well. The kitchen was small but still worked for our needs.

Wonderful Lakefront Chalet
August 9, 2020
We just returned from a week at Lake Keowee. This chalet is nestled in a village of enchanting landscapes. We could toss a stone and hit the lake. The porch was our favorite place to drink coffee, eat almost all meals, visit with family and friends, watch the sunset every night and enjoy the surrounding beauty. The boat slip was very convenient. We swam, floated and floated, paddle boarded, fished, laughed and loved every minute. The house was very accommodating on each level. We can't wait to go back!

Great vacation rental
We had a terrific week and would definitely stay again. Proximity to water and lake views were terrific. Very close to public boat ramp made trailering the jetski easy. Outdoor deck was awesome with great afternoon shade and evening breezes. Communication with owner was great. Plenty of room for our group of 7. Would highly recommend.

Soon the kitchen will have to have a deep clean (oven especially)and updated appliances and curtains (dark curtains) would be so nice in the 2 main floor bedrooms to help with early light in the morning coming through. Those are the only updates I would do and have the maids make sure they clean w bleach and vinegar everywhere to make everything feel really clean 🥰�🙌�🏻�❤️

Great place to hang out with family and friends. Public Boat launch less than 5 min away and can be viewed from docks. Nice big porch to sit and view the night sky. Highly recommend!

Very nice cabin with beautiful views from deck! Boat slip just steps away! Only problem with checking in was door code not on VRBO so had to call owner on arrival. He responded quickly !

Fabulous property; disappointed with conditions.
Beautiful property in a prime location. Disappointed with the way the property was left for our arrival. Numerous lights not working, had to replace 5 bulbs and didn't have spare for one other. There was a broken glass and dirty hats left on the kitchen counter. Neither fireplace was able to be utilized due to no gas flow. We moved the couch to better be able to watch a movie and found about a dozen dead cockroaches under it. Very disturbing, however they were dead and we didn't see any live pests during our stay. The outside grill functioned but was very dirty. The space in the house was as advertised, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We so thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home on a crystal clear lake. The property was exactly as described. We were able to enjoy the lake and each other.

Great Lake location
One of the nicest locations in the small complex. We swam off the dock each morning and went boating every day. Boat was docked 100 feet from front door. Kitchen was well stocked. Great sky show with each sunset from deck.
21 miles to white water rafting. The town is about 15 miles away. We ate out at the Light house restaurant cabana and drove there by boat. We also ate at the Dakota Grill, which gave large portions and an incredible salad bar. It was dark inside but great food.
We took our boat and unloaded at the home , but then were unable to turn around at the unexpected dead end road - had to unhitch and push by hand. Trailer parking was then difficult to find in the dark. Boat launch is 5 minute drive.
