La Maison Blanche & Retraite est une grande maison familiale rénovée avec goût, bien équipée, située au centre-ville et idéale pour une grande famille ou plusieurs familles. La maison principale peut accueillir 16 personnes dans quatre chambres (il y a un lit pliant pour la 16ème personne) et l'unité dans la cour arrière peut accueillir 4 personnes dans deux chambres.

Nous avons passé un moment formidable à la Maison Blanche! Quand chaque invité est arrivé, nous avons tous été époustouflés par la taille de la propriété et par sa propreté et sa tendance. Il y a un bungalow de deux chambres à coucher avec salle de bains attenante à chaque chambre + kitchenette avec un immense espace de divertissement en plein air équipé d’un grand barbecue, d’un réfrigérateur, d’une buanderie et d’une salle de bains. À l'intérieur, vous trouverez une grande salle de télévision qui mène à la cuisine spacieuse avec une grande cuisine et une grande table et des chaises pour les grands dîners de famille. La chambre principale est magnifiquement conçue avec une grande armoire et une salle de bains privative et tous les lits sont habillés de draps frais et de matelas et oreillers confortables qui vous assureront une nuit de repos apaisante après une longue journée passée à explorer les environs lumineux et magiques. Ce petit bijou ne cesse de s'améliorer, étant situé à seulement quelques minutes à pied de la rue principale et de la rivière, vous ne serez pas à court d'activités à faire, que ce soit en vous essayant avec les magasins Lights de Brights ou la chocolaterie, avec la famille à Brights parc aquatique sur la rivière ou même trébucher du pub, pas de conduite est nécessaire pour un week-end de plaisir avec la famille ou des amis. Our family rented the White House and Retreat at Bright to celebrate our Mother’s 80th birthday. The house was in a fantastic location within easy walking distance into Bright. There were 15 of us, 12 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. At no stage did we feel cramped even on the one day that it poured with rain and we were pretty much confined to the house. The separate retreat out the back and the five bathrooms made it extremely comfortable for all of us. I would highly recommend the White House and Retreat

White House is a wonderful, spacious house, with the Retreat in the back yard making it larger, with extra bedrooms, bathrooms and living area. The house has large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, large kitchen/dining area and living area, the high ceilings making it feel even larger. The back yard is a good size and the under cover bbq area is huge, giving plenty of areas for outdoor living, playing games, making it perfect for kids and adults alike. Great position, walking distance to shops, parks, etc. Perfect place for groups, family reunions, with the multiple areas, there is space for everyone.

On the positive side, the property's size was impressive, allowing the kids to have a great time. The location was convenient and added to the overall appeal.
However, there were a couple of maintenance issues that impacted our stay. Firstly, we encountered some unwelcome guests in the kitchen - ants were crawling over our food after the first night. This was quite a disappointment and made us uneasy about using the kitchen for the remainder of our stay.
Additionally, the common bathroom had an unpleasant sewer smell that found its way into the house and even into one of the bedrooms. This was not only uncomfortable but also posed a hygiene concern. Furthermore, we noticed that the laminate flooring in the bedrooms at the back of the property was coming off.
In spite of these issues, our overall experience was okay. The property has potential, but it's clear that it requires better maintenance and attention to detail. With some upkeep, it could be an excellent place to stay in the future.
In conclusion, while the property's location and size were definite highlights, the maintenance issues we encountered were disappointing. Addressing these concerns would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

WE HAVE RENTED THIS PROPERTY AND WAS NOT SATISFIED AT ALL AS THE WASHING MACHINE WAS NOT WORKING AND THE DISHWASHER AS WELL. IT WAS REALLY DIFFICULT TO MANAGE WITH THE BIG GROUP. PROPERTY MANAGER SHOULD HAVE CHECKED ALL THE APPLIANCES BEFORE THEY RENT IT OUT.

The space available for socialising (in a variety of locations) and the abundance of crockery, glassware, utensils & the new stove easily catered for our family group of 20. The back unit was covered in black mould in the bedrooms, there was also aa lot in the kids room. The oven and cook top still don't work properly. There were several outside maintenance issues that hadn't been attended to. That said, it's still such a perfect location to enjoy beautiful Bright.

We had a group of 14 people and there was more than enough space to sleep and stay at the home. Facilities were also great, and enough of everything for the amount of people we had. House was very clean when we arrived, and check in instructions were easy to follow. Only downside is there was no hairdryer, so make sure to bring your own!

Excellent location with a less than 5 min walk into town, house was tidy and spacious with a fireplace and plenty of bathrooms. Separate bungalow with 2 bedrooms was cosy too. Plates need an update otherwise had everything else.

Disappointing
This House is in a good position, great size for large group , inside was reasonably clean with good bathrooms.
Now the bad news, when we entered on arrival the kitchen smelt so bad like dead rats seemingly coming from behind the old oven that needs upgrading if you intend to cook food in it. I looked past the cockroaches in the kitchen. However, it was the Outside entertaining area of the house the biggest disappointment. It really needs a good deep clean. The Stayz property description which was an important part of how I chose this property, listed an outdoor area that has a shower , toilet and laundry room but unfortunately was not useable . It appeared to not have been cleaned for a very long time and was very unhealthy with what was left behind. The BBQ area could be amazing but again the state of the BBQ was so unclean that we could not use it. We are a group of country people who are not particularly fussy but even the blokes couldn’t stomach using the extra shower toilet room. It is a big stretch to describe the Outdoor Entertainment Area” as fantastic”. I obliviously have supporting photos .
Stayz or the property manger need to address and adjust your property description and photos that accurately represent the property because currently it is not a true representation when I was there on the 29/4/2022
We did not let this spoil our reunion we simply spent a lot less time at the property . This house needs at lot of deep cleaning and maintenance before I would recommend it. Even cleaning the windows and brushing off all the cobwebs would make a huge difference. I would like to post my photos but this platform does not allow it. I invite Stayz to view them at any time.. FYI we paid over $1000 per night for 3 nights.

Great Location, great for multiple families
Great Location. Sleeps 20 with comfortable beds and bathrooms but lacked a few items necessary in a house that sleeps that many. Oven and stove top very old, took forever to cook food, no champagne glasses and only 4 wine glasses for the large house, and some of the utensils & frypans need replacing. The house had 2 fridges which came in handy.

Love this place and we all enjoy staying there. Great location. Needs some upkeep and repairs though. Outside toilet/shower was pretty disgusting and in one of the ensuites the shower door handle came off when opening the door. There were some other defects as well but still love this place.

This property was ideal for our 4 families with plenty of room to spread out. It is close to the main shopping centre and the rail trail so we did not use our cars for the 3 days. The house does need some replacement light bulbs and one shower door leaks but having 5 bathrooms was great.

Our experience includes to have a shower without a door,which makes the whole floor of the bathroom slippery and that spreads all the way to the rest of the house.
The Owen/Cooker is so old, it is difficult to light and turn it off. Sometimes it is not turning off . (We have to call the agent to turn it off)
The TV in the dining room does not work
There are no chairs or any furniture to put your belongings in the bed rooms. You have to store things on the floor.

We were a group of 8 adults and 8 children, and this house was perfect. With lots of beds and bathrooms everyone was accommodated very comfortably.
The outdoor undercover BBQ area was fantastic, we were able to seat all of us around the table.

Spacious, flexible and well located. Ideal for 3 families or small group.
We were blessed with Sunny weather... great for using the bbq and undercover outdoor area.
