Pleasant staff

We requested on booking secure storage with an electric point to charge our electric bikes This was essential as we were bicycle touring.On arrival we were told this wasn't available but had not by advised of this prior to arrival. Fortunately staff provided an extension cable and we were able to charge them through the bedroom window before placing them in secure storage. Fortunately it wasn't raining!

The staff are amazing and very attentive they couldn't do enough for you, our room no 2 was just right for us, everything was set out perfectly, we had fresh water when required, different tea's and coffee and biscuits to choose from. The breakfast was plentiful, an assortment of cereal, fruit and cooked breakfast. Now for the pies, wow 52 pies to choose from all with different fillings, also a vegetarian selection, but be quick they go fast, it is allowed to pre book which I would definitely advise. The bar staff and the owners are very friendly and make you feel as though you are at home. Will definitely be back.

I cannot complain about anything in this lovely place, the only thing I would change is the quilts, but that is only minor as there are blankets provided if needed.

All the staff from checking In to the serving of meals were of excellent standard. The rooms very clean and had everything you could need. Very good value for money

The bed was super uncomfortable.The room was very small.The shower only stayed on hot but apart from that it was ok.Not worth the money

Our room was tiny and would have suited a single person. For the price we paid, we were disappointed with the three quarter bed, there was very little room to move around and very little wardrobe space for two people..in the bathroom, there wasn't enough space to hang towels or gowns..but the room was spotless and tea and coffee etc in plenty supply..

A great base in this area, Filey, Bridlington, Flamborough, Scarborough, Whitby etc. The food was amazing as always. Pie eaters heaven! Pre book the breakfast pie for the ultimate breakfast! The Piebald does have two dog friendly rooms (£10 extra per night per dog). All rooms are super clean, comfortable and fitted out to a high standard.

This area suffers from a lack of reliable fast EV chargers. It would be a massive benefit for anyone with an EV car stopping if the Piebald had two/three 7kw chargers (it would bring in extra trade).

An excellent location with great facilities and great food. Ideally located for quite access to both Filey and Bridlington.

Not informed of the WiFi code to access the internet. Although the room had very good heating the bed quilt was not the best.
