house was perfect for us. not far from a nice gas station and liquor store. dock is awesome but getting down from the house to the dock is a bit treacherous and steep due to the landscape. if you have any mobility issues or small children this is not a place for you. breath taking views and adorable/quiet neighborhood. clean grill and outdoor patio area.

We had a fantastic stay at North Shore! Everything in the listing's description was exactly as stated. Comfy living, great location and the use of the boat dock was key to making it a perfect vacation. Communication with host was spot on. Can't wait till our next opportunity to come back... and we will definitely want to stay there again!

Nice place

I just spent a week here with my family, and it was perfect for us! My kids are 11, 8, and 8, and they loved jumping off the deck and swimming in the cove. The house was well stocked, clean, and just perfect for us! It was located just right that we were able to watch both sunsets and sunrises. It was also super close to two boat rental places which we took full advantage of during the week. I would stay here again if possible!

We’ve been here 2 summers in a row. It’s a great quick family getaway, kids never want to go home. I really wish it was more affordable though, but it is a great place!

My family and I loved this rental. Beautiful house and awesome location. My children loved the lake and my wife and I enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. Looking to rent again in the future.

This is our third time renting a house on Lake Travis and this was our favorite house so far. The views from the house are amazing and the dock added a whole extra level of fun. Everything in the house was comfortable and clean. The only downside (nothing to do with the house) us that there aren't many grocery stores on that side of the lake and driving to the more populated parts of the lake or to Austin takes quite a while. But the quiet and peacefulness of the area more than makes up for the extra drive time.

The home is wonderful and can easily accommodate six people. Two of us had to work virtually all day and the WiFi was strong and reliable. The two level boat dock was very fun and the view from the house is amazing.

The kids had a great time swimming & paddle boating. The water is so clear & green/blue that everyone thought we were on some exotic islands from our pics. I loved the kitchen and everyone enjoyed their stay. We wanted to rent a jet ski but too bad we are located on “the other side” of the lake, there are only 2 water sports rentals on this side of town and they were fully booked for the day. On the other side of the lake there r at least 20 different places, but they are 50min drive. We didn’t need to rent a boat since our backyard is pretty much a platoon boat, but going jet ski would have been nice. Will plan ahead next time. Other than the being far from things, we loved everything about our stay. The sunrise view is AMAZING! No sunset view other than watching the sun disappear behind a mountain. Wish the sunset view was as nice as the sunrise so I didn’t have to wake up at 6am to watch the sunrise but u can’t have everything.

We enjoyed our stay at your home. It was beautiful. We have rented many homes with VRBO. If I could add a picture of the beautiful sunset and sunrise I would. The house was very clean and updated with new appliances and furniture. The owners were very kind and available for questions. The house is located in a cove that is low key and very nice for swimming and relaxing. We brought our boat and love the calmness of Lake Travis. It was an absolute amazing time. I would highly recommend the house. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I had a terrific time. The house is great and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed it very much and hope to visit again.

Property had cameras and felt like it should have been made known due to privacy issues. I covered them with tissues until we left, I didn’t want people watching us. Also upstairs fan remote did not work and the downstairs remote took some patience trying to get it to cooperate with the three fans it was controlling. Never could turn all of them on. On the first day a friend that was staying with us cut his foot badly on the stairs on the dock and had to go to the hospital, never to come back. Also had a cotton mouth on stairway that we spent a hour trying to run off, only for another to show back up. Another issue we had was that for 2 days we where blocked into driveway due to trucks putting in boats at boat ramp and parking them on the road into the back entrance. Needless to say we had to Uber to the grocery store. Also at night people where fishing and climbing on the dock so we ran them off, they then went to the dock next door. The stove lights didn’t work, tv was locked out by a code so we couldn’t use it. Even though these issues and problems effected our stay the home was still very nice and would happily stay there again considering I know what to do to keep from getting blocked in, cut up, bit by snake, bring fire stick, and batteries for remotes. I have stayed here before with friends and the issues with remotes, tv, parking, and cameras where still a factor. After all that happened I would still give 4 stars and more if my friend didn’t have a hospital visit due to cutting his foot. On that note it is still a awesome property. Actually my favorite of all 8 I have stayed at on the lake.

Large and numerous windows and decks on the house, with the property perched on a hilltop, enables wonderful views. House was clean and the double level boat dock was a hit! The only suggestion we'd make would be for guard rails on the underneath driveway and a little more stable way to utilize docking your boat. The crew loved the paddle boats and canoe on the property. All in all a great place!

The house was very clean and right on the lake. There were excellent views from multiple rooms. Very quiet and peaceful.

The house was well kept and had plenty of deck space to enjoy the view of the lake. Make sure you get up early enough for sunrises, they're beautiful. We'll certainly be looking to stay here again.

The house is very comfortable with a fantastic view and we had a great time during our visit to Lake Travis. A few pieces of feedback: Since the lake was so low, the walk down to the dock is treacherous (very steep steps) and you must be in good physical condition to make it up and down without hurting yourself. The trek would be very dangerous for small children or elderly guests since the home is on a cliff overlooking the lake. The "private" boat ramp was unusable since the lake was so low and there was no material in the house regarding alternate boat ramp locations or a map to any other nearby amenities. We finally contacted the owner for boat ramp information. If you bring a personal water craft or boat make sure you bring appropriate fenders and tie downs since the dock is currently housing a jet ski and boat. We brought two jet skis that took a pretty good beating against the outside of the dock--but it wasn't practical to load and unload every day. The windows on the house allow for fantastic views of the cove and the lake however the sunrise can be blinding in the mornings and a curtain on the eastern window would have been a nice touch. All told, it was a good visit and I would recommend it; but beware of the workout to get to and from the dock, the danger for small children and those elderly, and know that you must launch your boat at another location---this would be a 4 or 5 star rating without this issue.
