The only problems we had was the kitchen sink was stopped up. We reported it and never got a reply. So.. we finally found a plunger and plugged it. Which it worked! Also the bedroom bathroom shower does not have hot water. Check out time is too early (10:00) to be getting 7 people up, fed, packed up and straighten up the condo.

This unit was very well maintained and very clean. The owners have thoughtfully stocked their home with everything you could need in a kitchen. The complex is wonderful for families! We could easily walk to the beach and enjoyed the amazing pool and lazy river. Loved that there were indoor activities to escape the heat (indoor pool, arcade room, play room for toddlers, movie room). We hope to return to this unit!

We have stayed in Galveston many times but nothing there compares to Diamond Beach! The facility has everything you could want for a family vacation: amazing pools, lazy River, arcade, play room, workout room, and movie theatre! This unit was beautiful and super clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! We especially loved the big balcony overlooking the pool and beach!

We loved our stay in this condo. Everything was picture perfect. The only downside was that it was quite a hike to the beach and the beach wasn't as nice as the other beaches closer to pleasure pier. However we still had a great time and plan to stay here again!

The condo was wonderful. Enjoyed all the amenities the complex offered. Floated the lazy river. Soaked in the beautiful pool and hot tubs. The outdoor pool table, cornhole, and chess were a nice surprise. The game room has Golden Tee, Pinball Machines, and several other arcade multi game machines. There was fooseball, pool, and shuffleboard. The beach is just outside the gate. The bed was comfortable. The bath tub was huge and plenty of hot water. The separate shower is always nice to have. The kitchen well stocked. Very nice place to stay.

The property itself & the condo was lovely. We had problems with a sink throughout stay with no resolution & with repeated conversations etc with Vacasa - they did not provide the appropriate # of beach towels & the tiles were really dirty. THIS is not a CONDO OWNER issue, but the manager letting us and the owner down.

Everything was clean, and as listed but this listing is simply not worth the amount of hidden fees they tack on to your stay.
They won't let me publish how much the booking fee is, that kind of tells you everything you need to know. The additional fees totaled the same amount as the actual stay - absolutely insane.

My stay was wonderful, but like many of the other reviews stated, the property needs a lot of maintenance to the point that it is not safe. We arrived and there was no water or electricity for the first day. The bunk beds were missing rungs on the ladders, screws were lose and on the floor. The freezer door was removed requiring us to repair it. The garbage chute was clogged and backing up into the hallway.
if you can look past some of the maintenance issues, you will have a wonderful time.

The decor is very pleasant and relaxing. Comfy everything!! Has all you need to cook in well stocked kitchen. And patio is awesome!! Large with many comfy chairs some with cool foot rests- and a table. The view is fabulous- palm trees, fancy pool area - all with the Gulf in back ground. Can hear the water while relaxing outside in evening.

Condo was very well equipped. Close to elevator and clean. Patio door does not have a lock or any way to secure it. Due to lower floor location we were not comfortable with this lack in security. Amenities were perfect for the kiddos!

Loved the view and the quiet atmosphere. Nice for relaxing and having some down time. Hot tub and pool were great! The swim up bar and slide were not functioning. The wine and dine had apparently been bought out and was closed and movie theater was unavailable. Overall a good stay if you don’t want those things. Our condo could have used more supplies, sleeping for 8 with four towels and no soaps. But was clean and nice.

The condo main living area was beautifully decorated. We stayed over Christmas break with our kids and grandchildren. It was extremely cold outside so this particular unit had very cold floors and no rugs. It would be a complete different experience in the summertime when the parking garage below the unit was not below freezing.
Kitchen pots and pans were atrocious but it did have plenty of glassware silverware and serving utensils. It is in desperate need of new pots and pans, a knife set and some mixing bowls. Upon check-in we discovered the refrigerator was having trouble keeping up and cool, ditto on freezing anything in the freezer. I did call this into Vacasa and it is my understanding they will have it repaired.
Bedrooms had very clean sheets and light coverlet but no blankets, again a problem in the winter time. Each of the beds needs more pillows. Towels were plentiful and there was a washer and dryer to replenish as we needed to.
The condominium provided these wonderful carts to bring your items from your car to the elevator and up into your condo. They were awesome at check in and check out.
This condominium has a wonderful arcade room, a giant indoor heated swimming pool and a wonderful area with toys for the toddlers across from the check-in area.
We come several times a year and have stayed all over Diamond Beach condominium and we will be back.

We have stayed at Diamond Beach for the past ten years or so every Thanksgiving. It is a great facility with some great amenities. For us the indoor pool is fantastic in the November.
This condo had been furnished well to accommodate the 8 of us. Very nice beachy touches everywhere. The kids room has 2 sets of bunks beds so all kids get their own bed and our beds were comfortable. The kitchen had many different small appliances we didn't expect.
Missing: There were no pot holders, kitchen towels or beach towels.
Needs Attention: The fridge cycled on and off several times each minute with a click each time. By the end of our stay it was a beep. When we contacted them they suggested we move the (full) fridge and unplug and replug it in.
Second Bathroom: There was a dark splash of something up the wall and standing water in the grout lines the entire trip in the second bathroom. We were told a plumber would come look the second day, but one never showed for the entire trip (5 days)
This sounds like we had a terrible time, but we did not. Overall we had an enjoyable time. If they fixed the issues above I would happily rent this unit again.

Only complaints were the beach access was not convienant so we drove to another location not far up the beach, the room was located really far down the hall to walk from the elevator, and there were some massive cockroaches in the stairwell and one in our room.

We had a wonderful stay. The view was beautiful but to the ocean. Easy access to the right to the beach. Lots to do in and outside the condo building. Very clean, with plenty of bathroom towels. We will stay again!
