We booked our stay after combing through dozens of places. This little gem was just what we needed. It was clean, fully equipped, has an adorable pool and a place to dock our boat. It’s also located in the middle of Marathon so it is close to everything. Buyer beware—it says it sleeps 4 people but that you can make special requests for extra guests. However, this property really only means 4 people. No exceptions.

The home was very clean and maintained well The pool was awesome! The tile floors throughout tended to be very slippery - it would be helpful to add some rugs or runners. The quality of the living room/dining room furniture was disappointing as it was old and not comfortable. However the beds were very comfortable. The unit was well stocked.

My wife and I along with another couple had a great week at Flamingo Nook and the KCB-Marathon area. Flamingo Nook was perfect for four people. Kitchen was well equipped, beds slept well, plenty of towels including beach towels.
The staff at Key Colony Beach Realty were excellent to work with. Thanks to Casey and Tyler for answering my questions and communicating when we could get in, etc. The Cabana Club was a nice plus! Large pool, nice little beach, good bar for an adult beverage and excellent staff.
The pool at Flamingo Nook was a great plus. It was nice to cool off and relax after an afternoon on the boat. Dockage is good with the tide slide mooring setup. Dock was big enough for a 21-foot boat with no problem.
All in all, it was a very good vacation. We would stay at Flamingo Nook again.

This is the 4th year my husband and I have stayed at Flamingo Nook. The location is ideal. It is a lovely house. Just as pictured and described. The screened addition with a table for 6 is very comfortable; a great place to eat or play cards or games or just conversation. The yard is great! A nice pool to cool off and shade provided by the tiki. There are also bikes available for use as well as a putting green.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The water is seriously out your door. We had a couple of concerns based off the reviews. The kitchen sink was replaced. Grill was brand new and had 2 new tanks of gas. Pool was clean. Great central location for day trips to Key West. Would definitely stay here again.

The Flamingo Nook was perfect for our week stay. Wry clean and had everything we needed inside. The pool is perfect for hanging out in - land they have a chiller keeping temp at 89 degrees. The dock was great easy to tie off to the. Bait freezer is perfect. They do need to replace the putting green artificial grass. I would recommend and I will stay there again. The rental company is awesome, my wife left her bathing suit behind. When we got home she realized what she did , she called the rental company they found the bathing suit and mailed it back to us -

Accommodations were great,the rental had everything we needed.We loved the pool and the dock/fish cleaning station was perfect The bait freezer was a big plus also!! i had an issue one morning the TV would not come on called down to the Property Manager he came right over and fixed it for me and management was very easy to work with before and during the stay.We ate a couple nights at Key Colony Restaurant which was convenient for us. I would highly recommend this property it was very comfortable and AC unit worked very well. We had a great vacation !!!

Perfection! The home has all the space 2 adult couples needed and the condition was fresh, clean and the pool was the cherry on the top. We fell in love with Key Colony in 2022 and now plan on returning annually for the best fishing in the best location in the Keys.

When I booked this property, I was already hooked on the amenities. But then I got there it was more than I could ask for!
My family (boys 10 and 7 + husband (I mean really 3 kids! Ha) and I enjoyed seeing the manatees, pelicans, herons, yellowtail snapper, mutten snapper, etc off the dock. To top it off swimming after a long day of being on the boat. It was amazing!

Everything was as described. I have rented in Key Colony multiple times and loved the location, the property, and the canal. Rental was clean and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots and pans. Had a little bit of an issue with the hospitality app that was used for check-in/communication not showing new messages but that is due to the app and/or my phone and I was very happy my call was answered on the weekend to help us check-in. Would definitely stay again!

The only thing that bothered us was the grill. Prior to arrival I had inquired if propane would be there so we could use the grill. The rental company stated there should be propane. We used the grill one night then it ran out. I stopped by the rental office and asked how they filled the propane tanks. I was told I could fill up the propane tank myself. If you're providing a grill then propane ought to be included.

Back and in the keys and loving it
We had a wonderful time. The house was as pictured. We enjoyed the pool and the bicycles and the little putting course was enjoyable. Great places for eating and convenient for shopping. The key colony beach club was a nice addition to our entertainment. On the down side, a few things in the house need a little TLC. The kitchen faucet was almost falling off and difficult to use. The water in the kitchen never seemed to get warm enough, but there is a dishwasher so that helped. The pool was very dirty when we arrived and it was like that for 4 days until it was cleaned. Overall I would definitly go back.

The Flamingo Nook is an awesome vacation rental. The interior is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The exterior- pool, screened in porch and putting green cannot be beat! We absolutely loved our stay at 471 10th Street! The home was in great condition and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The property management team was very attentive to our needs, they were always ready to assist us - thank you. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone else and I would definitely return for another stay. The property is centrally located in the Keys so you can easily get to Key Largo, Key West or other points of interest. In addition, KCB is a great community and watching the sunset every night at Sunset Park is a pure delight - better than advertised.
