La casa è molto grande e bella e perfetta per amici o famiglie numerose. Ha tutto il necessario per passare una bella vacanza. c'è anche una bella piscina con ombrelloni e lettini a disposizione della casa.

Purtroppo la casa era infestata dai topi e nonostante la nostra richiesta di disinfestazione sia avvenuta con un giorno di ritardo, le trappole messe dall'uomo non hanno sortito nessun effetto. I topi continuavano a farsi vedere tutte le sere e questo ci a rovinato drasticamente la vacanza e non ci ha consentito di sfruttare a pieno la cucina molto bella. A causa di ci ò abbiamo dovuto mangiare spesso al ristorante perché non ci fidavamo dell'igiene , causa i topi in cucina. Inoltre molte luci nel salone non funzionavano correttamente cosi come anche quelle esterne , tant'è che i gradini della scala esterna per accedere alla casa non sono ben visibli e questo è un problema scendere di notte specie se piove. NOTA BENE: Per questo disagio legato ai topi , chiediamo alla proprietà della casa o alla società che gestisce l'immobile di aver un rimborso congruo per quanto non usufruito e soprattutto per il disagio avuto durante la settimana di vacanza , che non è stata serena come ci immaginavamo e che sarebbe stata sicuramente bella senza questo incoveniente dei topi. We’ve now stayed at this property 4 times as a family. In terms of location it is absolutely wonderful and very close to Calheta marina where there is a great supermarket, pharmacy and a few really nice restaurants as well as the beach. Location we can’t complain about although it has become noticeably busier each year and many more people visiting so it’s lost a bit of its calm and quiet vibe which we initially loved about the area. The villa however has an audacious view which is the best and accommodation wise has 4 double en-suite bedrooms and a stunning outdoor area to dine with a fabulous view of the ocean.

Over the years and with change in ownership it’s clear not much has been invested into the property in terms of maintenance, despite the huge spike in cost from last year (just under £5k last year to just under £8k this year to rent for 14 nights). Noticeably worn sun loungers by the pool, the leather sofas in the lounge are in tatters and just covered up now with a few throws, worn balcony railings needing just a coat of paint, the kitchen is poorly equipped in terms of utensils and is now quite dated. Faulty shower heads and dated bathrooms. Very uncomfortable beds and pillows (this year was the first year we had terrible nights sleep every night with poor mattresses and cheap pillows). Old tower fans which really don’t cool the rooms down on hot nights so air conditioning would have been so much better. Wall areas needed re plastering. We just felt for the hike in price it stopped being reasonable in terms of complete comfort there. The photos don’t truly show the actual villa as they’re very glossy and perfect looking. So we decided next year we’ll try somewhere new which is a shame as our first 3 visits were superb but when you’re now paying close to £8k you expect more in terms of quality and comfort.

Clean, spacious and quiet villa with great views of the ocean. We loved hearing the sound of the ocean waves crashing into the shore while laying in bed. The kitchen is fully equipped, we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, I definetly recommend paying extra to have the pool heated!

The ants in the kitchen and the bathroom. The ant traps were not really efficient. More outdoor lights at night would also be really appreciated

- Amazing cliff side views - Swimming pool - Large En-suite bathrooms - Fully equipped laundry room - Several outdoor areas

- Ants everywhere. Especially in the kitchen and in the fridge. We probably had to throw away 150eur worth of food. - Dated furniture and some uncomfortable beds. Don’t expect hotel quality comfort. - Impossible to reach the hosts. Several of us tried to call both listed numbers without success.
