Good facilities, great roof terrace, great location. Host very friendly and responsive.

Everything was perfect, but do note that the apartment is only accessible via staircase so challenging for less mobile people.

We stayed in Mykonos, the one bed with a roof terrace…and what a terrace 😎 definitely the best feature of the apartment. Entry to the apartment was very easy with the use of a key safe, no traipsing around town to collect keys was a great bonus. Casa San Miguel is in the heart of the old town, just steps away from the main pedestrianised restaurant street, but not exposed to its bustling noise. It’s also close to the La Rada beach and a supermarket. When we arrived the IPTV wasn’t working but the friendly agent sorted this for us, the Wi-Fi worked throughout the property so you could stream tv if you wanted to. Plenty of crockery etc if you chose to dine in…but with so many restaurants in Estepona we didn’t, and usefully a washing machine and dishwasher.

Suggested improvements would be to the water pressure in the showers and lack of clothes storage (chest of drawers rather than bedside tables could be a simple solution). For people that aren’t familiar with the area, slightly clearer directions may help them but we know the area well so found it without problem and knew where to park our car.

We loved the location in the very pretty historic centre of Estepona. The house itself is attractive and has a lovely courtyard. The kitchen is small but generously equipped with crockery, cutlery etc.and the proprty is generally well- furnished and well-equipped. The bedroom is spacious, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage for clothes. The air-conditioning was very welcome. The owner was helpful and answered queries promptly.

The internal maintenance of the property was rather disappointing, with paint peeling in a number of places, broken skirting by the front door and the handrail on the staircase coming loose at one end. The stairs are quite steep and could be unsafe for older guests. The bathroom is downstairs, immediately off the kitchen. Guests should be informed of this at the time of booking.

Access to the property was up a steep set of stairs, a little awkward when carrying bags etc.

Great location in a pretty street close to restaurants and the beach.

The pictures are misleading and we would have booked a different place had we known that. There are actually three apartments in Casa Miguel but only one has an access to the roof terrace. The pictures though are all bundled up together as if each apartment had an access to the roof terrace. We voiced our disappointment to the host who told us bluntly via sms that we can leave (and get our money back) if we dont like it. Well, not really a welcoming approach. Also, there are COCKROACHES in the apartment. As far as we could observe, the whole Estepona has a big problem with them, lots of cockroaches crawling on the promenade...

One or two maintenance issues : - handrail on steps to roof terrace pulls straight out of the wall and is therefore useless. - Shower in the en suite bathroom is feeble, hardly any flow (but the other shower is good). - heating/air con controls very difficult to understand - welcome booklet needs much more info on the equipment at the property - external door to street is very narrow and lock is difficult.

The location is amazing. The outside sitting area is charming. There are 3 units. I was in Santorini. The bedroom is upstairs and the sitting room, kitchen, small shower room/utiility room are downstairs. Kitchen was nicely furnished. TV also good. But the shower was small and couldnt get to the window to open for ventilation

Excellent location and very nice flat. All the appliances needed were there. Wonderful terrace.

Steep stairs from the street and very narrow door. There were some problems with water pressure and the living room AC/heating worked only two hours at the time and then it had to be reset.
