The lodge was beautiful inside and out. Well equipped, stunning views!

The location was amazing!

Nothing! EVERYTHING was good.

Excellent location. Very well equipped kitchen. Quiet and peaceful area. Plenty of walks straight from the property. Parked the car on arrival and started it when we left. All meals, including breakfast taken on the decking outside it was so hot. Outside shutters helped to keep the accommodation slightly cooler than outside.

Wasn't a 'not liked' but could have done with a fan as it was so hot.

We had a wonderful time at The Shooting Lodge. From the location to the facilities, everything was perfect. Claire was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel instantly at home. The lodge is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the countryside. The lodge is comfortable, spotlessly clean and the furnishings are gorgeous, cosy and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable, and the lodge was lovely and warm and cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood burning fire and had such a lovely relaxing break. Can't wait to return for the ultimate rest and retreat!

A toaster would have been useful, but the grill more than sufficed, so not really a problem. Otherwise, we can't fault this accommodation at all.

Perfect location for exploring the Peak District attractions, yet out of the busy areas in your own space. Countryside walks on your doorstep. Cosy, private and quiet. Plenty of wildlife joined us including red deer and a hunting barn owl. Everything was provided and kitchen facilities and bathroom were totally adequate. Decking area with far reaching views to enjoy an evening drink. Friendly hosts.

Nothing to dislike. It was perfect for all that we needed.

The views from the cabin are so beautiful, during sunset , throughout the day or on a misty morning.The cabin was located on a working farm and we got to see the sheep and their lambs running around the fields!The kitchen was fully equipped - loads of chopping/cheese boards,wine bottle openers,ice bucket,cheese grater, tea and coffee etc.Shower was hot, bed was comfortable - especially after a day of hiking. Logs all left out for a cosy wood burner stove. Would highly recommend this cabin as a romantic retreat in the Peak District.

Nothing- however the electricity would trip when too many appliances were on, this could be resolved within 1 minute under the kitchen cupboard.

This cute little lodge is a home from home, prefect in every way, beautiful views, every little touch you could need has been thought of, warm, cosy, and a prefect romantic getaway! Will be booking again! Thank you.
