Wonderful, romantic and unique experience in the beautiful Cotswolds, the “heart of England”. Beautiful and lovely cottage with a marvelous countryside surroundings. Very close to all nice and interesting cities in the region. Warm and extremely kind hospitality of David and Kate, always ready to make your stay as pleasant as possible, making you feel at home. Very good infrastructure, joining comfort and privacy.

We went to mayfly for peace and tranquility, mayfly achieved this. We admire Cotswold architecture and village settings, Coln St Aldwyn and the surrounding villages achieved this. Mayfly owners were extremely accommodating and courteous.

Lovely picturesque setting, the garden is beautiful with a stream, mature trees and seating areas to enjoy. The cottage has retained the features of the historic barn and is very pretty and authentic. A very relaxing place to be in nature and a comfortable little cottage, with lovely walks nearby.

Nothing we didn’t like. We could have done with one or two more kitchen implements as we cooked in for 2 nights but in the main it was well equipped, clean and comfortable and a great location too.
