The appartment is in an excellent location (15mins walk to major train station, 20 to city centre, not even 5 to closest metro station), was easy to find, and instructions were clear to gain access to property. It's also close to small supermarket, restaurants, bakeries etc. It was very clean and cosy, with our own bathroom and a door separating our area from the rest of the flat, which felt very private. Our host was incredibly friendly and very helpful - even calling to make a reservation at a nearby restaurant for us since our French was limited. I would definitely recommend - excellent value for money. Thanks Mag! :)

A comfortable apartment.
Not that easy to find as there is no name "Chez Mag" on the door. Communication was only possible through the internet. No one present on arrival and no indication as to how they could be contacted - did not reply when telephoned.
No indication that we would be sharing the apartment. On arriving back after supper, there was a couple in the living room (guests or owners not clear - no common language!). They left early in the morning as we were getting up.

Was pleasantly surprised with how nice the apartment was. Definitely seemed to be a family 2nd home, with family pictures on the walls, and fully furnished. Mag was very helpful, by email, as she could not be there in person. Very quick to reply and very helpful.

It's very homey (because it's a house - see below) and therefore quite comfortable. There is a sofa and a complete kitchen and two TVs... But better ever, is its proximity to the city center. We nearly everything on foot, except once when we hired city-bikes. So if you want a homestyle experience and not a hotel, this one's for you (and pretty well priced).
This is a room in someone's house, AirBnB-style. The owner was not there so in principle we had sufficient privacy, but it did take me by surprise a little. Maybe I did't read the description completely?

Mag is a great hostess. She has a wonderful sunny personality and made me feel as if I was staying with a friend. We had a chat every day, which really helped to improve my French. She offers her guests a bedroom with a private bathroom, and you can use her cozy living room and the kitchen as well. It is a quiet bedroom and even though I am a light sleeper, I could sleep there longer than at home. Parking is free, so I could arrive in the city early, leave late and make the most of my stay. The apartment is close to the exit, so no long drives through a busy city, and only a 10 minute walk from the city centre, so for me that was perfect. Small supermarket and restaurant right around the corner. I had a great stay!

The location was excellent, and the flat had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and helpful!
There were mice. I am also not sure it was really cleaned between guests, as there were various food crumbs on the floor and similar minor things.

The host was super nice and very friendly. Location was close to Lille Zenith, walking distance of 10 min and lots of parking spots around. We did not realise in the beginning that it is just a room in an appartement, but in the end turned out to be ok, especially for the 1 night stay we had on a concert night.

The place was just on our way from Belgium. So location was great for us. The owners were very nice and attentive. Cooked us great breakfast in accordance with our request. We had clean and cosy bedroom and private bathroom. After stying in hotels this place was totally different with its warm welcome family hosting us.
Bathroom was a bit cold for my wife though you don’t sleep there so i can’t count this as a serious issue.
