Mostly everything was okay. The room is outside the village, but in 7-8 minutes you are in the center. The room is large and has AC. Since the check out is at 9 a.m. and my boat to Santa Cruz was at 3 p.m. last day they allowed me to leave my backpack in the kitchen while I was on the beach.

When I arrived, I asked the owner if I could use the kitchen, and he first replied that I could not. Since I am on a budget, I explained to him that the conditions say that it can be used, and then he reluctantly confirmed it. But I didn't use it because it's small, poorly equipped and there were always a lot of family members, and it's not clean either (always dirty dishes and food around). Also, I think the price of $ 15 + $ 2 tax is too high for this accommodation. In the village, a hotel could be found for $ 12.

EVERYTHING!!! you think you have a booking, you arrive after several hours of transportation from Guayaquil to the Galapagos (that included a flight, a bus drive, a ferry, a taxi and a boat) just to realize your standing in the middle of nowhere in front of a closed door.

Between the centre and harbour, rooms were simple but clean.

Very friendly, nice location, quiet, peaceful. I couks use washing machine😊😊 The owners r very nice and lovely!

This was a great place to stay on Isabela Island. It was located close to the ferry and town. The room was large and had warm water to shower in. The check in and check out process was easy and the cost was great!

The room was suitable for my needs on this trip. I don't know if I would recommend this place for a long term stay. The wifi as on most of the islands is spotty so don't have high expectations for that if you need to connect virtually.

The Hostel is located near the beach and port. It was quite easy to go to snorkeling. The room was spacious with the perfect hot shower and AC. The owner family was all friendly. I was always looking forward to seeing their little puppy:)

Located close to the arrival pier, easy walking distance (had I known before....). Simple, but lovely place. My room was to the front, lovely, spacious and clean room, but the street light shines in at night. All the other rooms are at the back, and from what I could see are lovely, too. Lovely little back garden, so would definitely try to get one of the rooms at the back.

Got caught out with the corona situation. On arrival, I paid for all 4 days but later the same day found out that I had to leave the island the next day. The lady who runs the place speaks no English at all, and while she still was somehow able to communicate with me when I had arrived, when I later asked her if she would return my money for the nights I won't stay, she suddenly did not understand at all any more what I wanted. In the end she gave me a part of it back, but the whole situation was very uncomfortable. (Do have to say though, that I partly understand, it was a difficult situation for everyone, and she lives of this business). Also, generally, had I stayed longer, i would have struggled with the kitchen, as it seemed to be the family's kitchen and was always occupied. So there is no real space to make yourself a cup of coffee in the morning or to cook a simple meal at night. I heard from others though, that some of the back rooms have a little kitchen corner. Probably would have had an ok stay, had corona not come in our way. But one definitely should speak Spanish well, when booking this place, as she does not even understand the simplest tourist English. I speak little Spanish, and told her so in the hope she would slow down or use easy words, but communication was really difficult.
