Nice, quiet, and peaceful.

I wanted to come see a friend from Mobile, but spent more time by myself. Clifton and his son were gracious to show me the space, they had snacks and other necessities like pamphlets to see what there is to in Mobile. They answered any questions I had, even helped give me a ride to the nearest Winn Dixie since I flew into Alabama and had no car. They made my stay wonderful and made the apartment feel like home away from home! I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it! 😊

We loved our time here - the hosts were warm, friendly and accommodating! After a day exploring the area it felt like we were returning home! The apartment was roomy yet cozy at the same time - perfect for us. We really enjoyed the electric fireplace for our evenings - very relaxing! Great location - wonderful apartment - awesome hosts!

Honestly, the stay was fine. I'm a simple guy and this place was simple. No glitz or fancy but it's not priced that way. It's a little outdated but if you don't care about that then it's fine. The entire town of Mobile is sketchy but the property had a deadbolt on the gate and front door plus another lock up at the apartment door as well so I felt fine. The property managers were super nice. Only complaint was the Wi-Fi signal was not great and had to use my phones hotpot for internet on my laptop. I didn't let them know until I checked out as it wasn't a big deal to me but he said he wished I had. He said he was going to fix for future guests and offered me a discount if I ever come back, which I might for work. Once again super nice people and a decent place to stay.

The property is an older building in the central part of the city. It is well cared for and Clayton and son do a very good job of making sure we had everything we needed. They also helped with planning what we would do for our time there. We enjoyed our time in the area with plenty to do and see. This property is well located to help us do that.

Renting the property online was easy and we had instant communication from the owners. Clifton and Damian met us when we arrived. I cannot say enough positive things about the apartment. It felt like home. Clifton and Damian have honestly thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. The shower is amazing; instant hot water, that never ran out, and the pressure was like a massage. Plenty of towels and extra bed linens. Dishes and silverware. Snacks, condiments, soaps, shampoos, so many extras that is hard to list them all. And even with all of that, I honestly felt like if I needed anything else, they would have been glad to get it. The location of the property is great. Well lit and very secure. I swear, no matter what we were looking for, the GPS took us there in 7 minutes or less. Shopping, grocery stores, the best restaurants, museums, the Saenger Theater, parks, everything. All of that to say, we highly recommend these owners and their properties. We are already planning a return visit to Mobile and the date will be determined by when this property is available.

Great value and wonderful property owner. Stayed a few weeks for business in this Midtown property. It's in walking distance to restaurants, a park and Walgreens. Planning to stay on my next business trip.

This property is an excellent value. It’s older but clean and comfortable. The hosts are very accommodating and live on site. It’s located on the edge of a lower income neighborhood but also on the edge of beautiful older Mobile and an easy drive to downtown. I would definitely consider stay here again.

Clifton is super nice and helpful and responds almost immediately to questions and/or concerns. He and his son met us, showed us the rental and made sure our needs were met. My only complaint was the bed- it is not a queen (it’s a full size) and the mattress really needs replacing. I loved that Clifton had numerous snacks available, including our favorite popcorn, with a cute popcorn bucket. He also provides a verity of shampoos, conditioners and soaps. Clifton has tried to think of everything to make a guest’s stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Very easy rental process. Owner was very helpful with our request to check in earlier so we could make our events on time.

This property is located on historic Government Street. Easy access to downtown Mobile, beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Private entrance. The Apartment was clean, roomy, with TV, and all amenities. The host was available at all times, contacted us to make sure everything was comfortable for our stay. He and his son were very friendly and attentive. The host had brochures, magazines, coupons for shopping, to make our stay pleasant. We stayed 2 weeks, and would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Mobile. The apartment was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Very easy to get to. The owner is very helpful. If you have any issues he is there to help. The area was perfect for what we were there for. We could go fishing and see the granddaughter in the same day because we were in the middle of it all!!

Communication was great, and the stay was fantastic

I booked this Apt back in February for my family's stay in Mobile, AL. I read the listing several times, aloud to my wife and dad while I was looking for places to stay for our trip in late April. I did not see anywhere on the Expedia listing at that time that children were not allowed. We show up on the check in day and were told we were not allowed on the property due our children. I asked for a refund and good buddy Cliff said "VRBO handles that" and he could do nothing. I called VRBO immediately upon leaving (VRBO and Expedia appear to be intertwined, my booking was reserved in both.) VRBO informed me that the owner can indeed refund and is the only person who could, so the owner was dishonest regarding this detail. I was also told the child policy had been changed an unspecified amount of time previously due a child getting hurt in the Apt. None of this was told to me when I spoke with the owner. I made the reservation months in advance, the listing was changed, and now I am 600 miles from home with no place to stay and not even a partial refund (I had reserved 7 nights.) I did not berate or raise my voice to Cliff, I was polite and composed, but his handling of issues is very lacking. I would never stay at any property of his because if there is any issue or dispute, there will be no reasonable resolution.

I have stayed at many properties around the world over 30 years and this property was one of the best ones yet. The owner was always available, helpful and professional. I felt like a member of their family if I needed anything. The property was very private and owner was extremely respectful of my space. This apartment was spacious, had very clean facilities and many nice touches - shampoo, popcorn, dish soap, etc. I was never out of anything and only had to ask for instant service. There was amazing closet space, excellent location, powerful water pressure and perfect cooling/heating capabilities. There are many excellent restaurants, grocery stores and historical sites within 5-10 minutes. There is a beautiful park across the way and access to major highways within a few minutes. The owner has a lifetime of local knowledge to share with you, if needed. Finally, the price was the best I found anywhere in Mobile, Alabama. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit. Do yourself a favor and stay here. Its well worth it in many ways.

Clifton is so wonderful and our stay was excellent. Apt is 2 miles from downtown Mobile and 1 mike from the interstate. The apaetmentvis dates and cooled by a window unit, but we are a very laid back couple. Lots of room to move around. The bed is extremely comfortable but it is standard size. This would be perfect for any events in downtown Mobile

We’re not typical tourists. When we visit a city we leave our car parked & explore by bike. Cliff was kind enough to give us a printout of a bike route to historic downtown on one end & shopping malls on the other. We’re in our 70’s & comfortably biked 15 miles/day right from our unit. Thanks Cliff for offering us a place to store our bikes indoors at night. You were a great host!

My wife and I spend 4 nights at this property. Very spacious with a large main bedroom and comfortable bathroom with a nice small kitchen space. We really enjoyed our time in mobile and staying at this great house! Clifton was very friendly and we had a great overall experience. We would be happy to stay again and would highly recommend.

I stayed at this property for over a week.It is close to shopping, a lot of restaurants, and a park across the street. The owner is very nice and accommodating, he personally called and asked if I needed anything.He also brought snacks and water. Definitely recommend.

This is the second time I've stayed at one of Clifton's apartments and I' sure I'll be back. The place is old but clean, and has a nice public park across the street. There's a little electric fireplace in the TV stand that makes it cozy on chilly nights. Clifton is a great host, and takes time to meet you with the key and show you around.
