My best friend and I take a yearly girls trip and this house was perfect! It was steps to the beach and it was pet friendly which we love to be able to bring our dogs with us. Christine was also very great and responsive when I reached to her. Overall it was great stay and we will definitely be back for a longer stay!

charming, clean, close to beach, had towels and beach chairs -- all made for a delightful stay. will want to come again even though we ended up NOT bringing our pooch and only 4 adults joined. wonderful stay!

Very clean, needs some improvements, not recommended for children as the road is busy and dangerous driveway.

Loved the property. Very clean and well equipped.
Easy walk to the beach. A bit farther, fantastic coffee, breakfast, lunch spot. Truly dog friendly, nice fenced patio for all to enjoy.

The house was perfect for our summer getaway. We enjoyed the convenience of walking to the quaint and quiet beach. The home had everything we needed, beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrella. We couldn’t ask for more.

This house was very convenient to the wedding venue and Plum Cove Beach. The patio was great for eating outside. The yard is beautifully landscaped. It was perfect for us.

We came to visit Salem and Boston during this trip, & decided to stay here to be close enough but also get an East Coast local vibe. Easy location to get to our desired locations, and we loved being so close to Plum Cove Beach. Pebble Beach was a quick drive too, which we also enjoyed.
The property was clean & everything worked as it should. We did not have to contact the host at all except to let her know we had departed (as requested in check out instructions). Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Charming house, lovely yard, beautiful setting near the ocean. Great kitchen, loved the adjoining pantry as well. Had a wonderful stay!

My friends and I had a lovely time at the house. It was quiet, sunny, and a nice break. It was nice to be close to options, but still quite secluded. We went for runs each morning, and enjoyed soaking up the warmth in the sunroom/patio area.

We stayed for a quick trip to Mass. and wanted something nearby lots of good areas. We hadn’t stayed in Gloucester before but LOVED it, and it was easy to get to Salem and Rockport! The host was friendly and helpful and responded to us quickly! The house was very clean and perfect for our trip. We loved the charm and all the furniture was comfortable. We are already talking about wanting to go back!

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely home. Property was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Daily walks to the beach and UMass Marine Station with our pooch were enjoyable. Host was not only responsive,
but proactive. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful area right near the cove which was great for our dog and us.. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, linens were soft, and since our visit was during the wintertime, we were very happy that the house was well heated.

Perfect location for my parents and to celebrate Christmas with them. Host was EXTREMELY prompt with correspondence.

We had a lovely stay with our two dogs. The property was as described and the host was very responsive and generous in their interactions with us. The home was quaint and cozy and provided us with a lovely location to spend Thanksgiving together. The beach is a five minute walk from the home and lovely even in the off season.

Clean and cozy cottage, typical of renovated 1900’s era homes. While there were a few “glitches”, Christine addressed them immediately. The photo of the upstairs bathroom does not really do it justice. It is a spacious bathroom with a lovely antique vanity. Shower worked for me - but I am on the short side. Would definitely stay again!

Property has everything you need and is close to the beach and various towns/cities.

Very comfortable and warming. A couple of small obstacles but nothing our host Christine could not handle. Very happy with the accommodations and location. Wishing we could have stayed longer!

Property was as advertised, great location and close to everything we wanted to do, far enough out that you get the out of town experience.

Beautiful, quiet, quaint
We had a lovely time here. The house is cozy and beautiful. Would definitely book here again.

Very nice!
The house was lovely and looks better in person. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for location was because it seemed like it was a bit of a ride to the things we like to do when we stay on the North Shore.

Lovely Spot
The house worked well for our needs and we enjoyed being within walking distance of Plum Cove. It was clean and well equipped. Early morning coffee on the back patio was delightful.

This was our first stay in this area and it was great. The house was perfect. We loved the size of the house, and the kitchen. We are retired restaurant owners/chef and cooking is important to us. The yard was perfect. The beach is very close so walking was not too bad since Iam 74 years old. A larger bed in the second bedroom would be great for guests and a permit for parking , for us old guys, would round out a great vacation. Iam planning to book again next year. Thanks for making our vacation a great experience. Jim & Antoinette Troetti

Enjoyed the stay. Nice and clean place. Great to stay local or close enough to head to Boston for a day of activities.

Independence Day Perfection
Second year in a row we were able to enjoy Gloucester and the surrounding towns. My family lived like locals for a week! Plum Cove for beach and sunset is a must. Great property, just the right amount of everything!

Perfect North Shore Hideaway
This was a perfect spot for our girls weekend. The house was bigger than we anticipated and had all the amenities we needed. The back patio space was a perfect way to relax outside. Second bedroom has a pretty uncomfortable bed for two people (it’s a double, it’s very soft, all movement can be felt) but luckily the couch is incredibly firm and comfortable! Otherwise, we were thrilled with this property!

Very charming & relaxing home to stay for our vacation
Denise is wonderful to work with for booking. I had some technological snafus trying to book & she was more than understanding & was able to fix so we could book & enjoy our stay.
The house has all the amenities you need on a relaxing vacation. My only reason for not giving 5 stars are the beds. The guest bedroom bed was much too soft. The left side of the master bed was also sunken in. It was the better of the 2 to sleep in. Very close proximity to hospital, post office, small cafe & plum cove beach is literally minutes away. A great central location to travel from for all sight seeing in the Cape Anne area. I would definitely return to this house if I were to have another stay in Gloucester.

Perfect location for relaxing New England summer break!
The house is perfect for 2-4 people with spacious bedrooms, 2 full baths , comfy living and dining rooms and fully stocked
Kitchen! We loved the outside patio for our bbq dinners and morning coffee. Plum Cove Beach is less that 5 minutes walk-
It was never crowded even in July! The house had beach chairs, beach towels and even a cooler to borrow!
So thoughtful! There is a sidewalk the length of the road so we took long walks to explore the area. We also enjoyed the coffee shop for snacks and sandwiches. The nearbysmall grocery /wine
Shop has all the essentials Though we stocked up at the large Shaw’s Grocery store in Gloucester before we arrived! We loved the location, comfortable home and access to Rockport,
Gloucester, and beaches! It was a lovely location and home! We even played games on the front lawn! Highly recommend!!

We loved this cute getaway in beautiful Gloucester! The house was clean, inviting and nicely decorated. The yard was nicely landscaped and the back patio was quiet and peaceful--privately fenced. We enjoyed many nice evenings out there. The kitchen had a nice supply of cookware and utensils. The shower was slightly awkward due to the slanted ceiling, but we managed just fine. Plum cove was just a few minutes' walk down the road. There were usually a few people there, but was never crowded. (it was, however only the middle of June) The king sized bed was nice, but the other bed looked small. I'm guessing it was a full.
The property manager was also very prompt with answering any questions we had. We loved nearby Rockport and Gloucester Harbor. We enjoyed some great beers at Cape Ann Brewery and enjoyed lots of great seafood restaurants in the area. The Seaport Grille and Latitude 43 were especially great. Overall we really enjoyed our time here. I would recommend this home as a great place to stay!
