Nous offrons une belle maison de deux chambres et une salle de bain sur la prestigieuse Opal Cliff Drive.
Vaquita House est un chalet rénové à quelques pas de Privates Beach, notre plage de quartier fermée. La porte est ouverte pendant la journée, donnant accès à cette plage unique et à un super spot de surf peu fréquenté. Une promenade de sept minutes le long de l'océan vous amènera à faire du shopping et à manger dans Capitola Village et sur la superbe plage de Capitola. Les célèbres spots de surf de Hook et Pleasure Point sont également accessibles à pied. Un paradis pour les surfeurs; marchez jusqu'à votre pause. Les supports de surfboad et de combinaison sont juste devant votre porte dans un patio sécurisé pour un accès facile.
Vaquita House est livré avec une cuisine complète, des appareils en acier inoxydable et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer un repas gastronomique à la maison. La maison a des planchers de bois franc dans l'espace de vie principal et des chambres recouvertes de moquette. Les œuvres d'art sur le thème de l'île remplissent la maison d'une atmosphère de vacances décontractée. Le lit queen (avec nouveau cadre et matelas organique, juin 2018) et la chambre à deux lits (nouveaux cadres et matelas, avril 2019) accèdent au patio paysager privé par leurs propres portes coulissantes en verre. Détendez-vous au soleil avec la table à manger extérieure entourée de fleurs et de colibris. La terrasse du patio est parfaite pour faire un barbecue sur le grill ou se détendre avec un verre de vin.

The house was small and cozy, overall very nice. We didn’t realize that the house was on a fairly busy road, so you can hear cars right outside the windows intermittently, otherwise pretty peaceful and a short walk to a beautiful nearby beach/cliff.

2 bedroom, one bath, good size kitchen and decent living area. Close to downtown Capitola, with Santa Cruz about 20 mins away, And Monterey about 45 mins away. No complaints.

Our 2nd stay at Jon's cottage was great! We love the location, layout and amenities, and had a super relaxing and pleasant week on the coast. Jon is easy to communicate with and made himself available as needed. Looking forward to another visit!

We liked being close enough to walk to the shops, restaurants and beaches. We had every thing we needed and really enjoyed our evenings playing cards. The beds were comfy and our daughters loved the room with the twin beds and door to the patio. We did need to bring in a 4th chair from outside to seat us all at the table.

Three of us stayed at this property for a girlfriend's weekend and for the Capitola Art and Wine Festival. The location was amazing for us to walk back and forth to Capitola and to go to the beach. The house had plenty of room for the three of us. The owners had all sorts of extras for us to enjoy. We will stay there again.

Excellent location
This little home is perfect for a couple or small family. The location is amazing. It was extremely clean. The owner mentioned removing extra towels due to covid. More would be available upon request. I wish I had known before arriving that only three towels would be left for three people staying for three nights (3 towels for 9 showers). I didn't want to inconvenience the owner after arriving (should have requested earlier) so we used the towels for three days. I highly recommend this property.

Nice Place Near Capitola
Enjoyed a second stay at this cute rental. So convenient to Capitola. Wish the mattresses were firm. Also wish there was a king size bed in the larger bedroom. I’d probably return for a third stay if the bed situation was better for me.

Perfect location
We loved our stay at this property! Short walk into Capitola to visit the beach, restaurants and shopping. The house was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and going to the beach. The layout was perfect and very family friendly. I had a couple questions before our stay and Jon was always very quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!

Convenient to Capitola!
The Vaquita House was in a perfect spot to enjoy both Capitola and Santa Cruz. It’s a quick walk into Capitola and a short drive to downtown Santa Cruz or the Boardwalk.
It was a clean and cozy place with a lovely backyard to relax. Access into the home was simple and the owners were very easy to work with. My only wish is that the mattresses would have been firm. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would return again. Great for 3-4 people.

A great cottage by the beach
Our stay at the Vaquita House was wonderful. The house is well appointed and relaxing. It was perfect for our family of four. It is walking distance to Pleasure Point and Capitola and an easy drive to the boardwalk or the redwoods. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. Thank you Alexandra and Jon!

Lovely little cottage perfect for 3 or 4 people. Clean, tidy and located in a terrific location. Couple of housekeeping items. We had some ants in the kitchen. Also...bathtub bottom very very slippery when wet. Owner needs to put a mat in the tub or rubber bumps down. A safety issue. Renter should be told in advance that the attached garage and 2 frt parking spaces are used by the renter behind this cottage - not part of this rental. Lovely area and time.

For us, this was the perfect location. Close enough to walk to Capitola and the local beach. Shadow Brook Restaurant was the best, including the cab ride - 52 Dodge! We would move in!

My new wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. Place was well taken care of, especially during this COVID-19 season. Landlord even provided us a bottle of wine to celebrate our new marriage. FYI, some dishes and utensils weren’t cleaned properly, French press seem to be broken, and the tea kettle had mineral buildup when we arrived.House was still a great layout and comfortably decorated for our stay. We enjoyed the private beach access, and would gladly stay here again if we were in the area.

Wonderful Place in a Great Location - Very Clean!
The house is the perfect size for a couple or small family. It has all the amenities and the location is within walking distance to the beaches, including Capitola! Sitting in the back garden was so peaceful - perfect for a cheese plate and glass of wine. Jon checked in during my stay just to ensure all was great which was incredibly thoughtful. I would love to stay here again!!
