The location was excellent. Was very well equipped.

Somethings were showing bad wear and tear ie. fridge/freezer, towel rail in the bathroom and the pedal bin in the bathroom. Maybe time for replacements.

The rooftop balcony is fantastic, with a great view of the sunset. The owner was great checking us in, and Clara the cleaner was lovely. The kitchen is well equipped.

The bed was a bit hard for me. The toilet had an issue with the flush and would keep running but we sorted it. It sounds silly but the bedroom could do with a few more plug sockets.

Great apartment fantastic balcony with lovely views. It had everything you could need and walking distance to shops, the Marina and bus and train.

What an amazing apartment! We had read all the great reviews about it but could not believe how amazing it was in real life. A lovely sunny terrace that wraps all the way around the apartment with shade to have breakfast in the morning at one side and sun at the other side to bathe in all day long! And amazing place to watch the sunset from with some sun downers!! The apartment itself was so lovely - modern, clean and spacious with everything you would ever need in it. Francisco the host was so helpful and sent information on best places to visit and eat in Faro. Only a 5 minute walk to the restaurants so perfect location! We had the best time in Faro and would def go back and stay in Maria Rita Apartment!!

Everything was great. The terrace is so big and has amazing views over Faro. Great to relax and read and eat and sunbathe on. Great location very easy to walk everywhere and made it a very relaxing stay. The apartment had everything that you needed - kitchen was superb and large fridge freezer.

it was spacious and clean with an amazing terrace ! the decor was modern and the front door is practically industrial so felt very safe.

Loved the wrap-around balcony, which allowed you to choose between a sunny or shady spot at any point during the day. Excellent view of the airport about 2 miles away - great for plane-spotters. Views of the coast, about a mile away. A comprehensive range of "basics" were provided, plus some unexpected extras. Fantastically comfortable swing-chair on the terrace - we now want to buy a couple for ourselves. Early-opening bakery just around the corner, and the chemists opposite bakery could be very handy for some.

Previous guests mentioned the broken shower. The shower-head still needs fixing; we had to wedge it in the gap in the opened window. Property accessed by climbing four flights of stairs ( no lift), but necessary to get those views! We were told to put refuse "in the backyard", but we couldn't see it. We couldn't find any channels on the tv - despite consulting the instructions, and re-programming the channels accessible via aerial. There is an air-con "outflow" pipe, which drains into the "astroturf" under the seating area, so it gets wet underfoot.

Located 10 mins from airport and 5 min walk for marina, bars, restaurants, shops. Fabulous balcony to sunbath, eat and chill. Very modern inside. Host was so helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend this apartment.

You could not as for any more from the apartment excellent for what we needed well stocked fridge cooker washing machine ect View was ok but balcony made up for it Chap who met us (sorry can't remember name ) very helpful and informative.we turned up hours early and were lucky enough to be left in by him lifesaver

Nice if you like a trek and that's the sort of resort faro is everything is a trek away was ok for us but have a serious think if you are in anyway restricted in your movement ,on a hill and no lifts (your on the top floor). Taxi driver knew about location but not where it was ,got dropped off by a hostel type hotel that turned out to be directly across the road from the apartment the only way I found it was to look up and recognised the pergola from the pictures taken by other travelers. but we really enjoyed take the mobility issue serious ,but the rest with a puff of wind

So beautiful! an amazing space, exactly as pictured. the terrace is amazing, and it had a BBQ too which we used. Really high finish throughout and we were provided with everything we could need (lots of towels, basic cooking ingredients etc) The host was flexible with check in/out times which we really appreciated. Location is good, not sure why some reviews complain about the area being run down, a lot of Faro is like that now. even in old town you see graffiti and smashed windows everywhere. The area is perfectly safe and fine :) I would definitely stay here again.

- The shower holder needs fixing. you have to hold the shower head when showering which is a bit annoying and an easy fix - I didn’t mind but the mattress is very soft. my boyfriend gets back pain which is made worse by soft mattresses so he actually had to sleep on the couch as the bed was extremely uncomfortable for him, so be aware if you have back issues :(

Great Apartment really central , fabulous terrace , weather was good for January could sunbath between 11 and 5pm .Apartment had everything we needed , Franchesco greeted us at the Apartment and was very helpful , plenty of restaurant s nearby and supermarket 5 to 10 minutes walk . Had a wonderful week 😄

Fine location within walking distance from the city center and the harbour. The apartment is very well equipped, and the rooftop terrace provides an extra room in the warm season. The beds are comfortable, and the wifi worked well inside the apartment. The host was very friendly and helpfull in every way.

Everything you could need, air con in two rooms, large balcony, quiet central location easy walking distance to marina etc.

I wouldn’t think twice but book this place again next time we are in Faro! The apartment is so spacious, modern, clean and has all one may need. The best part is the wonderful balcony with sunshine all day long. We’ve loved it. There are two powerful aircons for extra comfort. Very close to all attractions in Faro, market and grocery shopping.

Beautiful spacious and clean apartment in a decent location close to the city centre. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning kept the bedroom nicely cool on hot nights. The terrace is fantastic for sitting out for breakfast and evening drinks, could only be bettered if there was a pool to paddle in up there
