This place was awesome! It was exactly as advertised, nice and clean and in a great location! Sonia is a rockstar of a host. She called me ahead of time to give me instructions on getting in, along with recommendations on local spots to shop and eat. I wish all hosts could be like Sonia! Will be staying here again in the future!

My family enjoyed our stay in the heart of Lincoln Park. The dwelling was clean and stocked with plenty of linen. A pleasant surprise on arriving was a dozen eggs, a loaf of bread and coffee! I would love to recommend that place for a group needing three beds; but I cannot. Both the upstairs sofa and upstairs bed were worn out. Sleeping was not relaxing and the sofa lacked support.

Sonia was very attentive with the booking and check in process. The kitchen had more than the basics available for a late night snack! We enjoyed walking the neighborhood.

This property is in a great location. Convenient to the L, restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is beautiful and the rooms were comfortable. The owner was also very helpful in identifying where restaurants, stores and entertainment could be found.

We had a great stay! The apartment has all you'd need and is in a fantastic location. The icing on the cake is the host, Sonia, who is so sweet and very helpful with restaurant and entertainment recommendations. Definitely would stay again!

The home fit our needs. Overall the property is a bit tired but it was not over represented in the listing. The owner seems responsive to our feedback.

The back patio and neighborhood was worth this spot. If you are looking for a private listing. This isn’t it, As the hosts live above/beside and share patio. They are super nice and friendly but definitely interactive in your stay. A little outdated but still a good spot!

Fantastic location in a residential and very safe neighborhood. Property was as advertised with comfy beds, spacious areas, and nice amenities. Host was fantastic on communicating and providing lots of information (grocery stores, restaurants, etc). We were able to walk or take a short Uber ride to every place we wanted to go.

The property was clean and we felt safe in the house. It is perfectly located and has a tremendous amount of square footage. However, the listing was misleading in its description of the property. The small back patio is listed as private. We were informed by Sonia, the host, on the day we arrived, that the patio was not private. It was to be shared with Sonia and Bob. The private patio was the primary reason we chose the apartment. The HVAC is old, very loud and does not cover the two levels of the apartment. The beds are very old. The master bedroom bed was held up in the center by a stack of books. The kitchen did not have usable pots and pans. For instance, there were no lids of any kind. The apartment's large windows facing the patio had no window covering. Sonia and Bob used the patio daily, but at random times from early morning to late in the evening. They had an unobstructed view into our kitchen. Our meals in the kitchen were never truly private. Another review mentioned that the stairs were treacherous. They are. Narrow, deep, with wide spaces between the railings. The very old, dysfunctional screen door wouldn't close or open properly. The WiFi signal doesn't reach most of that apartment. The property requires using manual keys. We asked for a second set of keys and the response was that the prior guest lost them. So we had to go make our own second set of keys. Sonia did reimburse us for the cost in the end.

We had such a pleasant stay at Sonia’s. The home was very clean and had a gorgeous garden where many of the pictures were taken once the bride was ready!! It was awesome space with master bedroom and living room on second floor and two bedrooms and kitchen and dining room on ground level with access to garden!! The neighborhood was wonderful and surprisingly quiet at night. We had a wonderful stay!!! Thank you Sonia!!

We loved staying at Sonia’s house in the quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Easy walk to town where all that you need for food shopping and cute restaurants were around. We cooked outside using the gas grill, ate on the patio table—spacious and comfortable area for all of us. Main floor bedrooms were especially perfect with our group—elderly mum from England—upstairs bedroom and lounge was perfect for our teen nephew. Kitchen was well-stocked with all the staples needed to cook and tidy-up. Great experience renting from our helpful hosts. Sonia even provided extensive notes for places to explore as well as dine. Thank you!

Wonderful rental with great hosts. Sonya and her husband went out of their way to welcome us -from restaurant recommendations, places to visit, or just the simple things like extra towels. No doubt we will book again next time we’re in Chicago!

Very comfortable; a great home-away-from-home. All our needs & wants were provided for, Sonia was very responsive and hospitable. The place was sparkly clean, comfy beds, and well-appointed. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

We had great communication from the owner. The location was fabulous. The back garden gave us a chance to eat outside in a quiet setting. The rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen and baths were well stocked. We were a little nervous about parking, but that wasn't a problem as there was a parking pass included for the neighborhood and enough street parking.

Perfect location and wonderful home! Sonia was so accommodating! Would look to stay there again every visit!

Sonia’s place was very quiet, cozy, and comfortable, all while still being very accessible to Chicago! She was very communicative leading up to and throughout the stay to make sure things were ok and address any issues. They live just upstairs so any requests were promptly answered. Appreciated her flexibility with our needs throughout the stay!

Traveled to Chicago to visit family and enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect in a safe neighborhood within walking distance to the park, shops and restaurants. Parking could have been a challenge in this area but we had no issues with the provided parking pass on this quiet street. We had everything we needed for the stay. Highly recommend!

Sonia was great! The location is perfect if you want to get to the shopping downtown quick. It is in a lovely neighborhood with its own cute downtown area too.

The overall experience was very simple and the property was just as described if you read the description and look at the pictures. Owner was very kind and helpful told us several times if we needed anything to let her know but nothing was needed. Would stay here again.

If you want to be in Lincoln Park, this place is outstanding. Close to the park and great restaurants, the two story apartment is very clean and well maintained. Sonia is a great host, even providing eggs, breads and other items for breakfast. She was very attentive to whatever we needed. Highly recommend.

This really was a home away from home! The place was very clean, and everything we tried worked. Two of our adult kids traveled with my wife and me to visit our other daughter & her husband. We all got together at this house and ate, visited, and played games in the living room and in the dining room. They were a perfect size for our group. The location was great too. Quiet neighborhood and felt very safe. We were able to pretty easily find parking for our rental car thanks to the parking permits from our hosts. A few times we even walked to dinner and to the park & zoo nearby, and the big attractions downtown were only minutes away. And speaking of the hosts, they were wonderful! Always kept us in the loop and responded quickly to any questions we had.

This spacious home is located in a terrific neighborhood. Sonia is gracious and kind. She thinks of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing from eggs for cooking, umbrellas for rain, and treats for our dog. Great experience!

I stayed with a group of friends for a concert at Park West. Great neighborhood. Sonia had eggs supplied for breakfast and gave us temporary parking passes for our stay.

The duplex was comfortable and in a perfect location. All restaurants and attractions were within walking distance. The host was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

Roomy and comfortable multilevel home in a convenient walkable location near Lincoln Park. 10-15 minute walk to train stations. People with limited mobility could stay on the bottom level of the nicely appointed home. Families with older members and young children need to know there is a steep, narrow spiral staircase between levels. Good location for easy access to downtown and north side areas of the city. Kind, thoughtful hosts live next door and respond to questions quickly.
