Our stay was perfect! This is a beautifully appointed home with high quality craftsmanship built for active families. The kitchen layout allowed for multiple cooks to prepare for family meals. Beds were very comfortable and we all really enjoyed the hot tub after hikes and bike riding. The neighborhood is walkable to town center yet in a very quiet neighborhood. Property owner was highly responsive and the management company was quick and on top of details. We have stayed in many VRBOs and this was the best yet!

We had an incredible time at this VRBO in Lake Placid! Witnessing the eclipse from this gorgeous Adirondack home was such a treat. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the attention to detail and the luxurious amenities.
The layout of the house was perfect for our group. With two separate living areas, there was plenty of space for both relaxation and entertainment.
The location couldn't have been better. Being within walking distance to Mirror Lake, bars, restaurants, and entertainment options made exploring the charming village of Lake Placid effortless. Yet, the house was tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, allowing us to enjoy tranquility and serenity during our stay.
We were also impressed by the host's attention to detail and responsiveness. Their clear communication and care made our stay smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, our experience exceeded expectations, and we would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Lake Placid.

We had a memorable week at this beautiful property!! Snowy weather greeted us and stayed all week which allowed skiing, skating and sledding. We loved everything about the area and look forward to visiting again soon!

This property was perfect for our girls trip. We were a group of 6. House was very clean and had everything we needed from the perfect location that enabled us to walk to everything, to cooking and cocktails on the deck. We were in Lake Placid to hike Mount Marcy and this property was a perfect spot for us. Hot tub was great reward after a long day of hiking. The property manager reached out to us before we arrived and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would love to come back and stay again!

This house met all the needs of our party of 10. It was very spacious, clean, updated and had great amenities such as multiple decks, grill, game room and hot tub. Plenty of room to spread out if needed as well as to gather in various parts of the house. We walked down to Main Street several times during our stay and it was super quick and easy with great views. Highly recommend this house to anyone wishing to enjoy Lake Placid and all it has to offer.

Beautiful property conveniently located near Main Street, just a short walk to all the shops & stores. House is very comfortable with all the amenities one needs for an extended stay. My family had a wonderful time and I wouldn't hesitate to book again next summer.

This home is great, everything was as described. The home is beautifully furnished and the neighborhood is quiet but within walking distance to town. The kitchen was well equipped so the Mrs was right at home cooking for us all. I can’t say enough about this wonderful property owners are prompt answering question and are very gracious. Comfortable, Clean and Roomy
We enjoyed the ample living space and outdoor space (hot tub, fire pit, couch and lounge chairs). Easy to walk to downtown. Host was available to contact with any questions. We all enjoyed our stay immensely!

We loved our stay! House was beautiful, we enjoyed the multiple gathering areas (TV and game rooms for kids!!), and there was plenty of space to get away and read a book or lounge.

Great House!
We had a great stay at this house, which was very clean and spacious.
We Loved the differently themed bedrooms, and the kitchen had everything you needed to entertain. The only negative thing I have for this house is No air conditioning! But other than that loved our stay.

Girls Weekend
This property was perfect for our girls weekend - there were 9 of us and everyone fit comfortably! The home was clean, cozy and decorated so beautifully-I just loved it.
Property manager was easy to communicate with and a little gift was even left for my sister (get together was to celebrate her); just very nice and thoughtful.
The location of the property was close to town and we could walk to most places!
I loved it and would stay there again. If you’re looking for place in Lake Placid for a larger group, you won’t be disappointed here!

Best Lake Placid Stay yet!
My girlfriends and I do a lake placid trip every year and this was the best place we have stayed yet! Better than the pictures! Cute, cozy and spacious. Great amenities and walking distance to the main strip. We enjoyed the fire place both in the living room and kitchen! Will use this place again!

Fantastic Property
This was our first time staying at this property and it won’t be our last! We had a great time and love the accommodations! The hosts were super accommodating and were very reasonable dealing with all manner of disruption caused by the pandemic last year. If only more people in the world were this kind and understanding!

Heatwave in Lake Placid
Our stay was great, the house was clean comfortable and the layout was good. We enjoyed the hot tub a few times as well. The only negative is that it was the hottest week of the year in Lake Placid and we could have used some A/C to help sleep.

Phenomenal Stay
From start to finish this home did not disappoint. The property was absolutely beautiful, clean, close proximity to town. The owner was kind and worked with us through COVID despite the 2020 Ironman race being postponed. This was (by far) the most amazing experience we have had through VRBO.

Excellent family stay in Lake Placid
This property was rated top notch by us from the moment we walked in the door. It is Well kept, well cleaned and all amenities listed in the description were provided to us! We did not have to make beds, as all the best linens were provided and in place.
The kitchen had all the best appliances and we did not miss finding one thing. There was an easy walk to the main shopping areas and also the beach area and Olympic visiting center. We will definitely return. Thank you!

Comfortable home, central location
We stayed five days in this lovely home while skiing at Whiteface. The house fit our family great. All furnishings are great. The kitchen is well stocked (ok, we couldn't find the cheese grater...) We appreciated the hot tub after ski days. Restaurants are a ten minute walk away. The property manager was great - very professional.

Excellent Stay
This property was wonderful. We loved everything about it, from the beautiful decor, to the nice touches with the bathrobes and complimentary toiletries, and the location! We loved having the fire in the fireplace every night and there was plenty of space for the adults and kids to spread out if. The hot tub was great after a day of fun in the snow. A 5 minute walk to town made it even better as we could walk to the lake, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot in a winter paradise
We stayed at Hillcrest for a small family birthday celebration/weekend. The house is so comfortable and cozy--we loved the fireplaces in living room and in the eating area. The kitchen was very well equipped, and given its open layout and nice fireplace it was an enjoyable place to cook. Bedrooms were comfy, and of course we loved the hot tub after long days of skiing and skating. We loved all the nice, thoughtful touches including soft bathrobes, nice toiletries, games and books, etc. All in all, this was a perfect place to stay.

Family Thanksgiving
My family and I enjoyed our Thanksgiving here- the house is absolutely beautiful with plenty of room to spread out and be together or not! We enjoyed the steam showers in the bathrooms, comfy beds, hot tub and kitchen (which was a dream to cook in)! A SHORT drive in to town (if you don't feel like walking back up the hill to get home, but you certainly could)! We are already planning on returning in the summer months!

Everything was top notch from start to finish. This house has everything you want and more! It was our first time in Lake Placid and we will definitely be back! Peggy knew we were celebrating my daughter's birthday and when we walked into the house, there was balloons, a stuffed animal and a cake! Doesn't get more thoughtful! Wonderful experience and extremely accommodating host. Definitely 5 stars!
