We loved the common areas. Perfect for watching TV, listening to the jukebox and playing games at the large table, and a kitchen that is fully equipped for meals. We chartered a fishing trip and prepared our catch at the house, on the grill provided as well as the use of the kitchen for a perfect meal. Beautiful furnishings and decor inside and the porches on each level, including the bonus crow's nest is amazing. We will visit again.

Best rental in Country ast Cottage! Well appointed and furnished in. Fun, whimsical decor package. Our entire family loved this home. Do NOT miss the front porch off of the master - great place for cocktails and ocean breezes!

The owner/host has presented a meticulously maintained, clean and exceptionally well provisioned beach house. The unique decor which is carried throughout the entire home creates a special beach vibe for all of the guests. The home is appointed with high end appliances (the ice maker was wonderful) lots of towels for bath & beach, AC worked very well despite the heat/humidity. The home was remarkably clean in its entirety. One of our best VRBO stays ever!

Enjoyed the house. I think the stairs might be a problem for some. But the biggest issue was noise level of college kids renting in neighborhood until the wee hours everyday. We reported and complained. But we had four nights of interrupted sleep.

We loved all the features of the home. The location was perfect to beach and pool. The house was large enough for all 11 women to sleep comfortably. The decor was so unique but tasteful. Close enough to bike to restaurants, shops and bars. Just overall a great experience. I would highly recommend this home and hope to come back in the future!!!

This house was well located. It has a quirky asthetic but it is well done. My children especially loved the juke box and the neon lobster. The house was well equipped with all necessities and very clean. Will definitely stay again.

The layout & decor was unique & enjoyable. The jukebox was dance party HQ! Definitely not the typical cookie cutter- plain Jane -bare bones rental unit. Even on our last day we were saying “did you see that…?” The art & collectibles were such a special touch.
Beautiful uncrowded beach, we paid to heat the pool & were glad because the weather was cooler than we expected.
Live music in the village gazebo in the evening while we had froyo & watched the sunset & boats.
We vacation several times a year & I rarely take the time to leave a review- this home is exceptional.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house was decorated in such a fun way making it unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. The location is close to town, close to the beach…ideal really.

We had a blast. The place is so cute, quaint and quirky. Lots of little nuances to get used to but easy to do. It was so spacious and roomy with a lot of places to hang out. The crows nest at night was incredible. We even got to see a satellite launch AND a fireworks show. Awesome!

The property was what we expected based on the listing and the property manager was responsive when we needed parking passes that weren’t found inside the home.

Great weather! Great location and the most amazing house! Everything was perfect and my family loved every second. The home has so much space and the kitchen is very nice. The bedrooms are great and the showers are the best part of each room. You won’t be disappointed with this house and the beach is so close. Thank you for an amazing vacation.

Three families traveled to SSI for our fifth trip together. We’ve stayed different places each time and Emil Cottage was our resounding favorite. Spacious, clean and great decor! Absolutely perfect, plus Ty was very responsive to a couple text questions we had for him. Five stars!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We had a great time at the Emil Cottage. Plenty of room for everyone. Large family areas for gathering. Decor was really cool. Property was clean. Kitchen well stocked. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Emil Cottage! The home was very clean with nice furnishings. The kitchen was adequately stocked for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable for the most part. There is a 150 lb weight limit for the top bunk beds and this should be stated in the listing to help insure adequate bed space. We loved the beach, the community and the pools!!
One of the AC units went out on our last day in the home. We phoned the management as soon as we became aware, 6 pm. They assured me someone would call me or show up at the house. I had to call them back at 9 pm since I hadn’t heard from anyone. They told me the repairman wouldn’t be there until the next day, after our check out. We were trying to rest before a 12 hour drive and the bedroom was 82 degrees!

Absolutely loved the jukebox. The kitchen was the best stocked we have ever experienced. Highly recommend. BTW if you are renting a golf cart, get gas rather than electric. There is nowhere to charge. Took a few weeks to get that answer from Vacasa. Just want to save others the trouble.
