Arrowsmith Cottage - Oak Bluffs - 1 mi to Eastville Point Beach via bike path.
Situé à moins d'un kilomètre d'Eastville Point Beach, ce cottage confortable et charmant est idéalement situé pour accéder facilement à tout ce que l'île magique de Martha's Vineyard a à offrir. La piste cyclable et la ligne de bus ne sont qu'à quelques pas de cette maison chérie située sur une voie tranquille et idéalement située à mi-chemin entre les centres-villes animés de Vineyard Haven et Oak Bluffs, situés en bas de l'île.
Les meubles et la décoration récemment mis à jour sont conçus pour faciliter la vie de vacances. La maison offre un séjour sur un étage avec 2 chambres privées, chacune avec son propre placard, une salle de bain complète avec combo baignoire / douche, une cuisine à aire ouverte, des espaces salle à manger et salon, un pont avant spacieux et un porche 3 saisons entièrement fermé . Avec sa douche "extérieure" fermée, sa cuisine entièrement équipée et son lave-linge / sèche-linge, il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer de merveilleuses vacances dans les vignobles. La cuisine, le salon et la salle à manger peuvent être séparés des chambres à coucher, offrant une tranquillité accrue et une plus grande intimité pour les "lève-tôt" ou les "lève-tard"! Deux chambres, une avec un lit queen, l'autre avec deux lits jumeaux, peuvent accueillir confortablement 4 personnes. La véranda arrière 3 saisons dispose d'un mobilier de style jardin et d'une table et constitue l'endroit idéal pour savourer une tasse de thé et un bon livre avec une vue sur la cour arrière boisée.
Il est possible de se rendre à pied depuis Oak Bluffs (1. 6 miles) ou Vineyard Haven (2. 0 miles) et le terminal de ferry, et avec la piste cyclable et la ligne de bus VTA à deux pas de votre porte, vous pourrez facilement profiter de votre séjour dans ce Martha's Vineyard Cottage avec ou sans voiture. Si vous préférez venir avec votre voiture, il y a un grand parking dans la rue pour 2 véhicules ou 1 véhicule avec une remorque pour bateaux. Apportez vos propres vélos et kayaks ou louez-les auprès de pourvoiries à proximité à Vineyard Haven et Oak Bluffs.

Enjoyed the cleanliness and coziness of the cottage !
Very peaceful. Met up with daughters, niece and nephew at Norton Point Beach - 4 different days. Love that drive-on beach ! Enjoyed spending time with the teenagers in the group 😊 - they grew up so fast. Enjoyed shopping and dining in downtown Oak Bluffs and in Edgartown .
Week went by too fast !

We had a wonderful time at Carol and Ted’s cottage! My husband and I went with our two kids (4 and 2) and our small dog. The cottage was clean, quaint and comfortable. There were lawn chairs and sand toys to borrow. It was a convenient location as we were able to bike to Oak Bluffs and Tisbury. Would recommend to families!

The charming cottage is well-maintained, super clean and well-supplied. It is centrally located to all that MV has to offer. Couldn't have wished for more. Arrowsmith Cottage is a total winner!!!!!!!

This is one of the best properties on island. It's convenient to both Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. It's perfectly suited for a family of 4 with everything you need (and nothing "extra" to clutter the home). We can't wait to stay again!

This was our first time at Martha's Vineyard, and we were so pleased to have found this place. It is conveniently located, well-kept, and well-organized. The hosts were very responsive and provided great information. Having admired bell hooks, I felt like I was a part of her legacy--if only the walls could talk! Because of our relatively short stay, we decided not to bring our car, and the ferry and Uber worked just fine. We had great food, a wonderful 3-hour tour of the island, and a fantastic getaway from our routine. Thank you for sharing this home with us.

This cozy cottage was the perfect spot for our family of 4! The location is great, close to Oak Bluffs and convenient to exploring the rest of the island. The home is clean and stocked with everything we needed. The screened in back porch was a great place to start and finish our day.

I was very happy with the place and the location. Everything was very comfortable. The host even contacted me when we left about a dog toy we left behind and we were able to pick it up since it was the dogs favorite toy!

The place was as it was described. Bright, sunny, clean. Small but perfect for our family of four. Loved the enclosed porch. Used the grill quite a bit. Truly enjoyed the location as well right off the walking/bike path. Special touch that we were not expecting was the dog bowls for beloved pet.
Will totally rent here again.
The only thing I think people should be aware of is that there is no dishwasher. That actually wasn’t a problem for us. There were four of us, and we just washed the dishes as we along. Do not let that stop you from renting this charming well appointed home 🌺

Beautiful, clean, bright and updated cottage. We enjoyed the front deck and screened-in porch. We really appreciated no bugs or cobwebs. I love the little MV ornament Carol left for us which I will enjoy at home!

This cute little cottage was perfect for our stay on MV. We could easily bike to vineyard haven and OB. We even made the trip into Edgartown on bike. The best part was that the cottage was located on a quiet street so there was no traffic going by when we wanted to stay back and relax!

Perfect little cottage for my parents celebrating their 48-year anniversary. Cottage was very clean and had everything they needed to enjoy their weekend. They said they may make it an annual trip from now on. Highly recommend!

The cottage was absolutely perfect, incredibly clean, comfortable, well stocked for anything we might have needed or forgotten. Quiet, great location convenient to Oaks Bluff and Vineyard Haven. Check-in and out was easy as can be- over a great place to stay on MV!

The hosts , Carol and Ted Arrowsmith, made the whole experience a pleasure from beginning to end . Their cottage is a lovely home sweet home, the perfect place to relax as well as rest after a full day on MV. There is such attention to detail it truly makes you feel fully in vacation mode . It was the best experience I’ve ever had renting a place !

This cottage was perfect for how we wanted to spend the weekend in Martha's Vineyard. It was super clean and very comfortably decorated. The beds and pillows were comfy, the couch was cozy and the ottoman made for relaxing cuddle time. There were supplies that we didn't even expect like a washer dryer with supplies, soap and other amenities and even tin foil and plastic baggies. The hosts, Carol and Ted, were responsive to our questions and offered helpful suggestions. Our pup also felt right at home. The cottage is about 5 minutes driving distance from the beach/pier areas in Oak Bluffs with restaurants and shops. It was about ten minutes driving distance from the ferry station in Vineyard Haven. Even in the off season, we found plenty to do to keep us busy including walks along the beach, watching the sunset and trying our first lobster rolls. We highly recommend this cottage for your stay in Oak Bluffs - we will definitely be back!

Comfortable stay for me and my husband. Easy access to roads around the island. Rained most days we were there so we stayed in most nights.

Had everything we wanted and was super clean. Nice location as well. We walked and did the bus for a couple of days to get to OB, VH and Etown. Rented a car for the rest of the week to see the rest of the island.

A wonderful & cosy spot for a MV get-away. Check in was super easy and the house was immaculate - just the perfect size for a beach vacation. House was minutes from both Oak Bluffs & Vineyard Haven (easy on & off the ferries - and access to great dining & shopping). Easy driving access to all major sites (beaches, Edgartown, Aquinnah, etc.)
Carol was super responsive when a minor issue came up and the house was well stocked with everything we needed (including a special beach towel for our pooch!).
The only minor hiccough was the noise from the road repaving down the block - but definitely not something any of us could control or change.

The cutest cottage that has everything you will ever need to enjoy the beauty of MV. The outdoor shower was amazing, especially after a day on the beach. The house was equipped with everything you would need for your vacation. We loved how “at-home” we felt the entire trip. It’s prime location made it so easy to enjoy the island. If you are looking for a getaway with loved ones or even on your own I couldn’t recommend this island getaway more. Thank you Carol & Ted!!

Clean and quiet cottage
We have stayed at Ted and Carol's Cottage the past two summers. They communicate well and the property is super clean upon arrival. The house has a well equipped kitchen, well set up TV options, and a great outdoor shower. The Cottage is perfect for a family of four. The property is set back off of County Road in a quiet little neighborhood in very close proximity to Oak Bluffs. Only a 2-3 min into OB and less than 10 mins to state beach.

Excellent property and location
This property was just as listed! It was super clean and close to OB and Vineyard Haven. It was the perfect size for two adults and 2 children. The owners were super nice and responsive. We will definitely stay here again for future visits!
