amazing place, would definatley book again, It was perfect for a romantic setting for my partners birthday retreat. Hot tub with a glass of wine and music was ideal..

Spotless, comfy loved the little extras and the breakfast especially as we needed to set off early. Super comfy bed, quiet cannot fault!

The room was immaculate and modern. All the facilities were easy to use and the breakfast was high standard. The hostess Liz was very welcoming and friendly.

amazing 5* stay. the bed was super comfy and we loved the home made goodies of cake, oat breakfast bars and shortbread. the hot tub was fantastic and is in our own private courtyard. we had a fab stay. can’t wait to come back.

Was such a lovely touch having the cake and flapjacks. Lovely fresh bread and jams and marmalades. Had a wonderful sleep on a very comfortable bed. Room was well presented and clean. Communication from hosts was very helpful as did not know when we would arrive but made it so we could check in simply. Able to park easily at venue.

Nothing to add here. The pig sty room was lovely. Hopefully can book in to one of the other 2 rooms in the future

We treated ourselves to a 2 night stay for our second anniversary here. We were in the plucking room. It was beautiful and clean. A gorgeous shower room and separate kitchen/ dressing room. We also had an outside decked area with a huge hot tub which we made the most of. Bathrobes, slippers and extra towels were provided. There was fresh bread, eggs, milk and orange just to enjoy. As well as freshly made breakfast bars, biscuits and cake. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be coming back.

The breakfast was gorgeous. The place is spotless. Staff welcoming and friendly. Location perfect. Local pub was adorable and sells fabulous food. 100% recommend

I am sending this review to put an end to the repeat requests I get from Booking.com to do so. The location was great in that it was close to my work. The advertising for this property and the reviews it has received are also great but unfortunately don't reflect my own experience. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. There is no armchair in the room so it's sit on the bed or at a small dining table located directly beneath the television. The door and windows to the room face onto a small courtyard which is separated from the next door spa pool and deck area by a fence. It is disconcerting to have occupants of next door property staring over the fence less than 10 feet from the room. To maintain privacy it's necessary to keep the curtains drawn.

The occupants of the next door room made the most of the spa pool facility and were still using it after 11pm. The drone of the pump and the exuberant conversation made it difficult to sleep. The curtains in the room are lightweight and allow light from the outside security lighting to shine directly into the room. If you are a light sleeper and struggle to sleep in a twilight zone this may not be the room for you. I advised the owner of these issues the following morning and received a perfunctory response advising that no one had ever complained before and there's nothing can be done about the security lighting. And to be fair the reviews for this property all seem to be very similarly consistent.
