Facilities are straightforward and everything we needed. The staff is exceptional! Like family. Breakfast is fulfilling and made with love each morning. We appreciate this place so much!

I think I would consider returning only in with winter and only if I wanted good service from the hard-working attendant named Joel and wanted to park a car. My first room was an interior room that had no window to an exterior view. It looked out only at other windows of other rooms which means I had to keep my curtain closed. If I look down when looking out the window, I can see cars parked in the garage which means that I get to hear every car starting/parking. And I get to hear everytime someone rings the bell to the front door. This room had no breeze coming through the window which is necessary in Peru in the summer (December to February) since it is hot and there is no air conditioning. This room was unbearably hot and I was unable to rest for first two nights. I have stayed at some of the cheapest/trashiest hotels in Peru. And this was the most inconvenient and uncomfortable. I moved to a different room with an exterior view. It was so much cooler. But this neighborhood is LOUD, and I suffered in the second room due to the noise. This is a residential neighborhood that is about two streets back from the main road. I thought it would be more quiet. WRONG. One car alarm of a local resident goes off maybe 10 times per day for 10 seconds to 1 minute. It goes off if it feels a vibration from a passing truck. There is a black labrador retriever that runs lose, along with about 20 other dogs, that barks all day and all night at everything and everybody...the guard dog. A rooster crows at night. Dogs must have torn up the trash one night because the next morning, I awoke to a lady yelling in the street because there was trash in the street. I am sure there was. I saw many dogs tearing up the trash bags. If you leave the hotel and walk around, there is literally dog poop everywhere. Stay on the sidewalk and watch where you are walking. There was a party on a Thursday night across the street with loud music.
