The property was clean well maintained, had no issues with hot water which was good and lots of cleaning supplies

This house was very comfortable for 3 adults and two dogs. The couches were very comfy. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of appliances etc. BBQ was wonderful. The beds allowed for a good nights sleep. Everything was within walking distance- beaches, shops, restaurants. Great to have fully enclosed yards- allowing the dogs to get fresh air.

Great views, lots of games etc for the kids, comfy beds, everything we needed for our short stay. The upstairs bedroom views were so lovely! Close to the beach and town. Was amazing for our dog as well-she loved it!

We lived this authentic beach house. Plenty of space, inside and out. Cosy wood burning fire. Well equipped kitchen, and plentiful stocks of basics. Great views and easy walk to the beach and shops. We loved it!

Excellent, the hosts Paul and Belinda were great, very accommodating, the house was perfect for us and our dogs. We had a great time, easy walk to the shops and beach. We will be telling all our friends what a great place it is to stay.

Wow ! This property had so much more than initially offered, kitchen filled with cutlery, pots, cleaning equipment, games, beach gear, you name it, it's there! You can tell this home is well loved and it gives off that warm, cosy feeling the minute you step in the door. With the dog beach a short walk away and the shops within a few minutes was ideal for us and our pooches ! Having them safe and secure in the incredibly beautiful garden was so important to us. Waking up to the ocean views was just stunning, a beautiful home to escape reality Paul & Belinda were wonderful to communicate with, thank you for hosting us over such a difficult weekend for us 💖 We will definitely be back 🐾✨

The property was a good space - we could leave our little dog out on the enclosed verandah when we went out and knew she was safe and warm. This was a great little holiday house.

Despite the great location and lovely views towards Cape Woolamai the overall stay was very disappointing. My friends and I were aware it was pet-friendly accommodation and while we weren’t expecting a brand-new shiny home we had anticipated the property to at least be clean for our arrival. There was a smell of dog throughout the whole house, in the extra blankets and furniture. It was particularly strong in the sunroom area. Dog hair was clearly visible on the rugs and carpet. The kitchen cupboards and handles had a grimy build-up on them. There was lots of dust and hair behind and underneath almost all the future. I stayed in the upstairs room and found a pubic hair on the bedside stand. Paul was quick to respond and allowed an early check in time (thank you) however didn’t seem to care about the state of the house other than saying he would let the cleaners know. The firewood was well stocked and the fireplace easy to light.

Easy communication with the owner. Great family space with good fencing for the dogs and in a great location.

Good weekend get away.

One of the only places that have everything included without extra costs. The owners are friendly, responsive and helpful. The house is well cleaned, and the outer area where the dogs usually hang out is obviously worn, but this is expected for pet-friendly properties. The living areas (especially bedrooms) are well kept. The property may be due for some renovations which would mean that the price would go up, but I would gladly pay the higher price when that time comes. The host is more than generous with providing more than what is listed.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It was an interesting and relaxed house to stay in. Facilities were great. Listing is very accurate - appreciate the honesty of the owners. It was great to be able to include our dogs as well. Loved the view from the upstairs bedroom. We shall be back.

Suited us very very well

Always such a pleasure staying here. It feels like a home away from home. The puppers have a smile non stop and love exploring the yard. We feel at ease knowing it’s so secluded and pet friendly. The house is always immaculate and so cosy with such a beautiful view. Will always be our go to stay to get away and the owners are so easy going to book through and so kind to us.

A relaxing and enjoyable short break.

We were so comfortable in this house. Loved the spaciousness and light and being able to see a bit of water from the house. Good lived in feel that wasn't too precious. An excellent spot as a base for getting around. We went to Phillip Island, Wonthaggi, Inverloch and saw friends in Corinella as well as exploring San Remo itself. Had a few afternoon beers at the pub looking out over the water and were lucky to have great weather. A couple of problems - luckily we took our own towels as there were no towels provided (did find one in the small bedroom) and no bath mats, and the fridge is tiny. The upstairs TV only gets SBS (which isn't such a bad thing) but overall we had a really wonderful get away and our little old Jack Russell loved snoofling around the garden and the dog friendly beaches. Would definitely do it again - 9/10

Very hard to find a pet friendly property that will also accommodate the extended family. Good location with beach that was ideal for children in walking distance.

We were at first a tad surprised by the property as it did not match the photos on line. The place is somewhat run down in comparison to the photos. It could also do with a thorough cleaning. When we arrived we could not find any coffee pods for the unique coffee machine and they were not available in the local supermarket, there was no toilet paper in one toilet and only a small amount in another toilet, no cleaning cloths in the kitchen and no soaps in the bathroom. After my daughter did a mercy dash for soap, toilet paper and kitchen chux, we did find the key in a cupboard in the small bedroom that revealed all the items we were missing?!? As we were unable to find any of the coffee pods we took some of those from this spot and some more toilet paper and tea towels. Having adjusted to our reality we enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous part of our state. We relaxed and made the most of the weather, nature and family time. Ps. I forgot to mention that the gas bottle for bbq was empty, this was another interesting surprise half way through cooking dinner. I think this place is a good house for families but just be aware that it’s very basic and run down. Perhaps the price should reflect this...?
