My wife and I spent 11 wonderful days at Theresa and Andrew’s ocean sounds cottage. The cottage is exactly as described and had everything we needed. We found the bed to be extremely comfortable! It’s central location is perfect for exploring the island from Lighthouse beach to Harbour Island. Or just a 10 minute walk down the hill to the beautiful Twin coves beach. We thoroughly enjoyed a surprise delivery from Andrew of fresh coconut water. We also enjoyed our chats with Theresa when visiting the Tea Kettle.

We had a great stay at Ocean sounds. It is in a great central locations and we felt extremely welcomed.

My son & I had an amazing stay & the cottage was perfect! Theresa & Andrew were absolutely amazing hosts and made us feel like family! Andrew has a spectacular tropical garden & took the time to make us fresh coconut milk & shared some of his sugar apples with us. Twin coves is a 5 minute walk from the cottage & special beach to see! It is very close to Governor’s Harbor, I highly recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable & convenient spot to explore the island from, we will definitely be back!

Being an avid gardener I very much enjoyed seeing all the fruit trees and flowering plants around the cottage, and having extensive conversations with Andrew about gardening challenges in Eleuthera. The owners were very personable and happy to provide information about the island, life in the Bahamas, and island history.

We loved the Buccaneer Restaurant in downtown Governer’s Harbor. We also enjoyed Rainbow Bay. They have covered area and picnic tables. Snorkeling around the rocks was lots of fun. We are already planning our next stay in this beautiful paradise.

We extended our vacay and found Theresa and Andrew Burrows Ocean Sounds cottage. The place was perfect for us!! Theresa and Andrew are excellent hosts. The cottage was very clean, the AC cold, and the pics from the rental were exactly as presented. Andrews garden is beautiful!! We would definitely stay here again!!!

The property is in a great location to explore both north and south parts of the island. There’s plenty to do close to the cottage also, twin coves beach, cocodimama beach, French leaves beach and Governor’s harbor to name a few. The hosts were incredible, both Andrew and Theresa made us feel right at home. What can I say ?? BEST VACATION TO DATE !!

The property is in a great location to explore both north and south parts of the island. The Burrows family is so welcoming and accommodating. From the pick up and return to the airport, they were available and willing to make our visit as pleasant as could be. Theresa had great ideas for places to visit and Andrew was a wealth of historical background on the Bahamas. If you get a chance, meet some of their family. So delightful. Andrew shared fruit from his trees and so fresh. You won't regret this relaxing and warm environment.

The cottage is in easy walking distance to Twin Coves beach, my all around favourite beach, so it was nice to be able to get up in the morning and simply slip on my bathing suit and walk to the beach. The cottage is located just outside of Governor's Harbour, you probably could walk but it would be a bit of a walk in the heat. But Theresa and Andrew have cars available to rent which I'd recommend to go explore the island and all the beautiful beaches you will have to yourself. A visit to Harbour Island is also a nice way to spend a day which is about 40min north by car. The cottage is in a great central location to explore north and south of the island and Theresa and Andrew are the perfect host! And if you're lucky you'll get some of Andrew's yummy soursop fruit mixture. Thanks Theresa and Andrew for being such great hosts. Can't wait to visit again!

The cutest cottage , with all amenities and sortest towels. The perfect location to explore the whole island from top to bottom. Theresa an amazing host, prompt to reply and quick to fix any issue went above and beyond . She ensured my stay was comfortable and secure and while aways on hand, remained discrete. Theresa also assisted with the unexpected such as: * arrange for her daughter Kelly to collect me from Northern Eleuthera when i got off the plane by mistake. * made calls and ecured flight changes for me * provided me with a family produced brochure that was an invaluable source of island information, insight and inspiration. If you seek comfort the cottage will not disappoint. Peace and solitude, the twin bays deliver. If its romance or even adventure you are best to base yourself in Governor's Harbour. Ocean sounds was perfect for our relaxing vacation. We loved to be surrounded by a luscious nature and enjoyed the native fruits that Theresa and Andrew offered us as perfects hosts. We appreciated very much their heartfelt and sincere welcome into their property and family. We had an awesome time at this fabulous romantic getaway spot. It felt like home away from home, our host was very hospitable and friendly which made our trip enjoyable and easy. The Burrows not only provided very comfortable accommodations but they also arranged for our rental car and pick up for us on arrival. The cottage is co-located on the same property as Theresa's home. But it was still very private and cozy; we were also able to enjoy fruits grown on the property thank you to Mr Burrows and his grand-daughter Isabelle for sharing with us. This is definitely a great holiday spot we look forward to enjoy again in the near future! Thanks to Theresa and her husband for being such awesome hosts, I highly recommend this place.

Theresa was an excellent hostess. She responded to our questions right away. The cottage was clean and cozy. It was close to Theresa's family house but still private. It was within walking distance of a beautiful beach with a great spot for swimming. There is also a hammock you can use right outside the cottage under coconut palm trees. It was very relaxing. Theresa also shared fresh papayas from her trees with us! Yum! I highly recommend Theresa's place.

In this quiet and peaceful house, we were alone with nature. The house is located on a hill in the centre of the island of Eleuthera. house in live it looks even better cozier. In the city of Governers Harbor to go next in 5 min on a car downtown where there is everything grand shops selling wine and rum. The house has everything needed for a relaxing stay.The good air conditioning system. Master Bedroom king bed. A new TV satellite. shower room with clean and big towels. The kitchen has a microwave . toaster kettle dishware and other accessories. refrigerator new Ice was doing a great cocktail quickly. Air conditioning cools well. Evenings on the grill at the house we grilled meat fish. Around the house grows a lot of different fruit trees bananas coconat.... This was our 7th house for 2 years in the Bahamas and Only these Owners on the island we had a new big strong beach umbrella and sun chairs for a picnic on the beach. it was very convenient and easy to take with you on the most beautiful beach at Twin Cove beach is a 5 minute walk (picture) if you still need a beach and a nice folding table, it can be taken along with the car jeep $360 week, Honda CRV white.
