Voulez-vous avoir beaucoup d'espace pendant vos vacances? Voulez-vous vivre magnifiquement, tranquillement et pourtant proche du centre? Alors vous êtes entre de bonnes mains dans notre logement. L'appartement est situé à l'étage mezzanine de notre villa de ville, construite dans les années 1920, et a été rénovée pour la dernière fois à l'automne 2017. La maison appartient à la famille depuis sa construction. L'appartement a une superficie totale de 125 m² et est divisé en un salon spacieux (45 m²), bien équipé avec coin salon (avec TV satellite, lecteur DVD, chaîne stéréo), un canapé-lit f. 2 personnes et une baie vitrée qui vous invite à la détente. L'intérieur est un mélange unique de meubles anciens et modernes. 2 chambres (1 avec lit double, 1 avec 2 lits simples), dans le salon un canapé-lit supplémentaire f. 2 personnes, un autre lit dans la baie vitrée. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec laveuse / sécheuse, lave-vaisselle, four / four, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, filtre et machine à expresso et un coin repas confortable. Salle de bain avec une grande douche, WC séparé. Accès WiFi gratuit. En tant que service spécial pour nos clients, nous proposons également différents types de thé, de café filtre et d'expresso ainsi que des `` bases '' telles que le vinaigre, l'huile, le sel, etc. pour un retrait gratuit.
NOUVEAU depuis juillet 2017, l'appartement est également équipé de la climatisation. Il y a aussi la possibilité de réserver des visites guidées auprès de divers fournisseurs directement avec nous!

This property offers plenty of space, comfortable beds, quiet nights, and a safe environment. We enjoyed sufficient hot water for showers, cool breezes in the evening, and privacy. Several of the bus lines are only a few blocks away; the train station is a 15 minute walk. Our hostess has obviously given careful thought to what her guests might want or need during their stay such as paper towel, several spices, dishwasher and laundry detergents. She is easy to communicate with prior and during our stay. We would choose this lovely property again if we return to Salzburg.

Our stay was delightful . Our hosts have provided accommodation which has luxurious space, fabulous cleanliness and is well appointed. The location is ideal as it is close to the river with a short walk to the old town and main attractions. We arrived by train and it was an easy walk with luggage and two four year olds. A beautiful space to relax and enjoy Salzburg.

The home was spacious and well-appointed with beautiful art throughout. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. FYI: The washer also dries, which was a special treat compared to the other places we stayed. And i slept so well with the automated exterior blinds, i almost missed checking out on time!

The few days we spent in Salzburg were amazing. Michaela was so helpful. We were traveling with my elderly father so we needed restaurants that were close and taxis & Ubers that would pick us up right outside the house. She made suggestions for several things to make the trip easier for us. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It’s central to the market & restaurants. If you want to visit the Old Town you will need to take a bus or taxi.

We stayed at this property for a week in the winter. It was perfect for our family of 4. The host was very accommodating and helpful for suggestions on where to take our small children. The property is in a good location; it is an easy walk to the historic center, restaurants, a nice brewery across the river, playgrounds, grocery stores, and the train station. The property was clean and well stocked with plates/pans and cooking basics like salt, oil, etc. Highly recommend.

We loved this property. While not in the old town district of Salzburg, it provided a very quiet setting. My wife and I stayed here with my 89 year old mother. Once we got the hang of the bus system, which did not take long, transportation to old town and other areas of Salzburg was easy. There is a bus stop just a short distance from the residence. We really enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties but none better than this one. Spacious area, tastefully furnished & within easy walking distance from Salzburg sights. There are 2 separate bedrooms but a third bed is available in a separate area. Easy to communicate with owner who is willing to help with recommendations & guest needs. Kitchen is fully stocked, bathroom is large with separate rooms for shower/sink & toilet. Water pressure is great. Highly recommend

We couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating host than Michaela. She was great. Her communication with us before our trip and her familiarizing us with the property and the surrounding area made us feel welcome and ready to embrace our Salzburg experience from the first moments.
The property is definitely in a quieter neighborhood, but only a short 20 minute scenic walk in any direction to see most of the attractions.
We did rent a car to venture outside the city, but parking is quite restrictive in the area. Michaela was more than accommodating and offered us a space on property for a very reasonable fee.
The property itself was spacious, very clean and well stocked. I would absolutely recommend a stay here.

This is a great, roomy property with everything you need: clean, well appointed and just as described. Michaela is a lovely host and was welcoming and very helpful during our stay, offering lots of advice and helping eg with printing tickets. She has thought through all that a family might need and has prepared the home accordingly. It easily takes a family of 5 and has additional bedding options for up to 3 more. It is surprisingly roomy. We were there during the heatwave but the home was kept very confit and cool because of the shutters, air con and fans. Situated in the new town it is virtually on the river do the 15 minute riverside stroll into the old town was never a hassle and only added to each day’s Salzburg adventure because you could enjoy the walk and the glory of the city unfolding as you approached. The option to have a parking spot in their garage made this option ideal too because you didn’t have to drive. Except in a number of days we took day trips to surrounding sights: Wokfgangsee, Mondsee, Konigsee, Eagles Nest and yet could always come back to a safe place to park. Overall, this property provided us with an ideal base for exploring the beauty of Salzburg and on the surrounding area. Thank you Michaela for making our time staying in Salzburg so beautiful and memorable.

Our family group of three had plenty of comfortable space in Michaela’s lovely apartment in Salzburg! It was easy to communicate with her before and during our stay. The parking space in their garage was very helpful to have during our stay. It was an easy walk to the river and the old town of Salzburg. We had a medical issue during our stay, and Michaela was so kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Salzburg!

As a family of six, Michaela’s home was a perfect place to stay for our visit to Salzburg. We easily walked to the Altstadt along the river to explore. It was also a short drive to the Lake District for hiking. Everything was clean and orderly. We loved the fact that we could wash and dry clothes since many European listings don’t have the dryer functionality. The hosts were kind and helpful. We would recommend this home if you are visiting Salzburg and prefer a home to a hotel.

This property is in a superb location - one block from river and about 15 minute very pleasant walk from old town. Also very convenient to airport. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The layout is a bit quirky - but something that I like and was spacious enough. Note that it is 2 bedrooms and another alcove with a bed. The toilet /sink is in a separate location from the shower / sink but it was not a problem for us. I would stay here again - thank you for the hospitality!

We reserved this apartment to visit Salzburg for the surrounding Christmas Markets. The location, communication, cleanliness, privacy, and value were superb. It was like getting to be in a very comfortable and cozy home of a beloved friend. We were met with the warmth of a cherished friend--yet given immediate privacy--unless and until we had any questions. We are so grateful for Michaela and Wolfgang....and will hopefully be able to reserve this same home in the future. Five stars--for everything.

The apartment was roomy, very clean and well equipped. It was close to stores, Old Town, restaurants and the train station. We felt very safe. We loved the fact it had a washer/dryer. Our hosts were available when needed and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The property was neat and clean. The hostess was hospitable and accommodating. The location was fantastic- close to train station and a 20 minute walk to the old town or the new city. The apartment had plenty of space and was in a very quiet area but was modestly furnished. The prior week, we had stayed in Vienna in a modern apartment with excellent furnishings and equipment for the same price. This apartment did not compare favorably e.g. knives could not cut crusty bread, only one set of towels for a five night stay (the other had two) the fridge had no freezer compartment and the furniture had slip covers.

We visited this lovely apartment during our interailing trip as a family. It is fantastic, less than 10 mins walk from the station and about 15 mins walk into Salzburg central station. There are also buses. We found it perfect for us, lots of space, a great kitchen and laundry as well as an outdoor garden. We left very very relaxed, and the host was lovely and available with hints and tips. If you have kids we recommend the outdoor pool which is an easy bus ride. We did a salt mine tour as well as the sound of music stuff. The Salt mine was really good, I would say most of the Sound of Music stuff you can see without the tour - but it was also fun! Lovely city for walking.

Staying with Micheala was like staying at your relatives home. She provides such a personal touch. We were made very welcomed and she was so organized for guests. We had a lovely, relaxing and peaceful holiday in her Salzburg home. They live upstairs on the same property which is safe and family friendly. We had everything as in the listing plus air conditioning, as we had a heat wave this summer. She even had washing soap, salt/pepper, some spices. We felt very at home with all her advice for dining and the area offerings. If you have the chance, do the Dinner, Cruise, Mozart Concert at the Fort one evening.

Charming Salzburg Apartment
We recently stayed at Michaela’s lovely Salzburg apartment. It is even better than the listing! It is a lovely (easy) walk along the river to the Old Town. We have two children under the age of 10 and they walked the distance with no problems. The apartment is very clean and tastefully decorated. It is very spacious for a family of 4, it could probably fit more people just as well! The beds were very comfortable and the common areas (bathroom, living room, kitchen) had everything we needed. My younger daughter said it felt very homey, like we were staying at grandmother’s house! The apartment is part of a larger house that Michaela’s grandfather built (almost 100 years old! But with modern conveniences) You have your own entry and it is very private and quiet. It was a very authentic Austrian experience to stay in a historic house! The air conditioning in the apartment was excellent and there were even two additional fans we could use. All the windows had automatic black-out shades which kept the apartment cool and dark when we wanted to sleep. Communication with Michaela was wonderful. She is very responsive and kind and replies promptly. We had also arranged for parking in her garage and that was very convenient for us. Overall we had a fantastic time in Salzburg and we would stay at Michaela’s apartment again if we come back!

Exceeded all expectations - a wonderful stay
This property was perfect for us and was very comfortable & clean. Lots of room for us (family of 4 with 2 teenagers). We stayed several nights and would stay there again without question. Salzburg is a very walk-able city and this is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood away from busy tourist areas but close enough to get to the best parts of Salzburg very easily. Michaela is a top notch host making everything easy for us and gave us a lot of advice to make the most of our stay.

The apartment is in a quiet residential street. It is close to the river with beautiful walks along the river. It is walking distance from the station and the Old Town. Our host was very responsive to question (answering almost immediately during waking hours). The apartment was very clean and the provided coffee and cooking items were welcome (although we did not actually cook during our stay!).

Wonderful stay!
We truly enjoyed our recent stay at Michaela's place. She was a fantastic and very responsive host, answering any questions we had very promptly. She also had some great suggestions on places to eat. Like staying in someone’s home
Spacious 2 bedroom apartment comprising the lower floor of the house. Kitchen had everything we needed. There was even a Christmas tree for us! Michaela was very helpful and gave us a lot of information about Salzburg. Would highly recommend.

Most Excellent all around! Michaela has generous extras in the apartment like coffee and tea as well as keeps leftovers from other guests like shampoo and spices. So the place feels like a home. Cozy and bright at the same time. Love the automatic window shades to get a real “black out” curtain and keep the warmth in. WONDERFUL!

Great Family Apartment
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was good space for a family of four, with comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and good shower. The walk to the old town was scenic and less than 20 minutes, plus less than 10 minute walk from the train station. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely townhouse, gracious hosts
We loved staying in this VRBO. The hosts could not have been nicer. The condo is on the mezzanine level in their house. We had our own entrance and the walls in the house are very thick so that it was very private. The house is in a neighborhood so you get an authentic Austrian expert.
The apartment is very large and lovely with numerous oriental rugs and beautiful antique furnishings. It was extremely clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable There is a second bedroom. And a lovely little dayroom nook with another bed. There are several good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Grocery store is a 10 minute walk. It was a 20 minute walk to Old town. Michaela provides a phone number for a taxi. The taxi arrived promptly and was priced affordably. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely apartment short walk to old town
This apartment was perfect for us and our adult daughter. It is spacious and well equipped and nicely decorated. It is very convenient for the train station and car rental agencies. It is about 15 minutes walk along the river to the old town. Definitely a quieter neighbourhood. Highly recommended!

It was a blessing that this place was available during the Salzburg Festival. The location was great
The owner was really available for us when we came there. We were able to check in early. That was amazing because we had two small children with us and it was raining. The place was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone. We have been to Salzburg several times before, so I really know the difference if it was good or bad. Thank you Michaela.

Beautiful Salzburg
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, comfortable and in a great location for a nice walk to Old Town. We had a rental car and it was nice that there was space in their garage, for a little extra charge.

Wonderful property
This an amazing property with great service to make sure the guests are taken care of. The apartment is large and my kids enjoyed the owners dvd collection. The location is very close the center of town and all the activities that the tourists might want to do.
