This particular unit was not properly well maintained. Several light bulbs were just missing, Pillows were very worn down. kitchen had just the basics. I guess this unit is as tired as were were.

Since the water taxi did not run until 11:30 it was not easy to get over there in the morning. The staff was not real clear or helpful at explaining options to get over there at non water taxi times.

Check in was very simple. The surrounding property, restaurant and pool area was wonderful. The unit itself, upon arrival it had a very musty, old smell. We opened the doors trying to air out. Furnishings are very tired and in need of some updating as well as the appliances. No internet , my husband was trying to work a little one morning and had to take his laptop to the pool area. Really enjoyed the water taxi over to Rum bay restaurant for dinner. Everyone at the Marina was very friendly and welcoming. This was our first VRBO experience, won't be our last but will definitely be more diligent about my research. We picked this location because it was near friends we were visiting.

Additionally, the property management team does a great job at handling all details of the stay. The location between the marinas provides a great view and the pool and club area very nicely kept. Amenities including Palm Island facilities just perfect including water taxi and Rumbay and Leverock’s restaurants. . Boat owners and other condo guests and owners all very friendly and welcoming, can’t wait to go back.

For the price paid for a 1 bedroom/1 bath we expected the unit better stocked. The screened lanai is lovely, though the large liveaboard boats in the Marina block the view from this unit and it can be quite noisy at times. Pool and nearby Leverocks restaurant both fabulous and Publix just a couple miles away. Overall enjoyable month long stay.

Leverock's Restaurant is a gem a 200 foot walk away. If considering Palm Island, the marina is a good place to start without the isolation of the Island itself but access to all the resort amenities.

Our unit was well equipped, and beautifully furnished. This is our fifth time to Palm Island, and every time it's always a Five Star stay for us! Keep up the good work!
