Seulement 1 3/4 heures de route du quartier central des affaires de Melbourne, à mi-chemin entre Gembrook et Launching Place. Votre chalet privé 2BR entièrement autonome niché entre la brousse et les champs verdoyants vous attend. Vous êtes libre d'explorer nos 40 hectares, de rencontrer nos sympathiques alpagas, chooks et vaches à moutons. Vous pouvez laisser votre vie citadine occupée derrière vous. Passez la journée à marcher dans la brousse, à faire du Puffing Billy, à paître dans les établissements vinicoles locaux, à faire du vélo ou même à jouer dans la neige en hiver… puis détendez-vous dans le bain à remous, faites un barbecue tout en admirant un coucher de soleil spectaculaire.
Une fois que les étoiles sont dans le ciel clair du pays, la faune est active. Les wombats, les koalas, les lyre, les kangourous et les pansements sont quelques-uns des animaux que vous remarquerez à Hoddles Hideaway. La vie d'oiseau est également abondante, pas de bruit, pas de voisins, juste la paix et la tranquillité.

Home was clean and had everything we needed. Great hot tub and had an amazing sleep due to bed being so comfy. Loved the peace and quiet. This is the place to come if you want to reconnect with family or just be in the moment. There is no WiFi which wasn’t too bad as it allows you to switch of from your phone and enjoy what is right in front of you. Will definitely return again

We had an incredible Easter weekend getaway at the charming pink cottage in the midst of serene countryside. As a family of four, including two young children aged 5 and 3, it was the perfect escape from our busy routine. The spacious surroundings allowed our kids to frolic freely while we savored moments by the fire pit with a glass of wine. Our days were filled with delightful activities such as feeding the farm animals, leisurely walks, engaging board games, and indulgent BBQs for breakfast and dinner. Exploring the nearby waterfall, rainforest gallery, and quaint local cafes added to the adventure, alongside peaceful strolls through the bushes. The cottage itself was impeccably clean, and our hosts were readily available whenever we needed assistance. It truly was an unforgettable experience, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

We loved our week long stay at Hoddles. It is a lovely property and so peaceful. The animals and wildlife around the property make it a really unique experience.
The owners and farm manager are really helpful and friendly. Couldn't have been any better.
We would have happily stayed for longer. If you like nature and peace and quiet, this is the place to be. We fed the rescue animals (sheep, cows, chicks, alpacas) and also saw the Koala and so many birds.

We stayed here for a long weekend & loved it. House was clean & bathrooms were renovated. So much wildlife! We had a koala in a tree right outside the house, beautiful birds, adorable wombats plus the cows, chickens, sheep & llamas that we were given seeds & pellets to feed.

We had a wonderful country stay here. It was just what we were looking for to get away from the city and appreciate Victoria's countryside again. The house is perfect for two couples and the owners are lovely and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at hoddles hideaway! It was warm and cozy. We especially loved the cows, sheep and chickens. We were lucky enough to be given 6 freshly laid eggs for breakfast which was so nice.

Tissue box had 6 or 7 tissues then there were none for our stay.
TV remote power switch inoperative so had to manually switch on and off and it needed new batteries. There were other issues.
Owner very apologetic and helpful.

It was nice, although my experience of staying in properties away from shops and off the beaten track are the hosts usually leave bread, milk, butter and a very special bonus of fresh farm eggs. It makes the stay extra memorable and special. Was a little disappointed that the hosts didn’t go the extra mile.

A great place in the woods of tropical rainforest and up in the hills of the Yarra Ranges to chill out with abandoned animals being cared for by the owners. Totally quiet calm and serene environment to chill out and recharge yourself. Caring hosts and care taker who are friendly and approachable.

This cottage was the perfect place for me and the kids to unwind after a hectic festive end-of-year. Kath was a responsive host who replied quickly when I enquired if I could invite a few extra kids on some nights.
If you have young kids - it's a good idea to come prepared with all the essentials - panadol, bandaids, stingose etc - as the general items you have on hand are a 20-30 min drive for essentials - but no problem if you come prepared.
Our highlight was greeting, feeding and patting the farm animals. Sheralee - the caretaker - was welcoming, very helpful about which animals were tame and which to leave alone - and encouraged interaction and egg collection from the chooks. She was a breath of fresh air and the kids raced to greet her each morning and talk to her about which of the animals had been naughty!
The sunsets and stars at night were beautiful and it was a lovely change of pace. Thanks for having us :)

My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding. It was the perfect place to stay for a girls night! Slept the 6 of us comfortably (pairing up two to a bed) and the pink colour of the house made for really cute “girls weekend” photos in our matching pink pjs.
My 3 year old son got ready with us in the morning and the house had provided kids toys and play equipment which he loved. He also got to meet one of the sheep and was given farm fresh eggs which seemed to be the highlight of his morning.
If you are looking for a girls getaway or a bridal party retreat - this is your place!

Excellent house in an excellent location. We had a lovely couple of days despite the rain. Feedback would include upgrading the sofas opposite the tv (very lumpy & uncomfortable) and provide Wi-Fi which is a must for internal travellers. Regardless, we would highly, highly recommend.

Booking process and communication with Kath was so easy all the way to checking in. The property is perfect for a weekend getaway to relax and enjoy the country. And I loved interacting with the cows

We woke up to the sight of cows! Kids were all excited! Got to collect some eggs for lunch as well!

The pink house on the hill
Such a beautiful little house in an incredible landscape, the owners were lovely, the animals so friendly and so many of them. So many games and activities inside. It rained our whole stay but the beauty of the pink home in the rain and all the nature to explore meant it was actually such a lovely trip. The owner sent us a great detailed email of all the close by activities and restaurants which came in so handy. Overall just a great experience would recommend time and time again

Picturesque stay at the fairy house
The house was very neatly kept and the view from the house can be framed.. we stayed for 3 nights but we mostly stayed in and walked around the property.. it was quiet and blissful. Kate was kind enough to check us often. Would definitely go back.Its a cute fairy house with a small backyard vineyard..
